@@joshuabeats I bought FL just for Flex and the speed in which you can do things. I definitely didn't need it because I have 2 MPCs as well. But one can never have too many sounds and ways of doing things. That and working the MPC software as a plug-in inside FL makes things super easy. You get the best of both worlds. I can't express how grateful I am that these companies decided to work together and create plugin versions of their softwares so that we could use them together. As someone who's been doing this on and off since around 2002ish, I'm absolutely astonished at how far technology came for music production. So many old heads like me bash using computers for music. But those same old heads caught the same shit from the generation before them for using drum machines and samplers so why they're talking shit I don't understand. The way I see it, you either get stuck in the past or adapt and evolve. But after my years long hiatus due to an addiction and a 2 year jail sentence, I was pleased to see how far we've come in music creation. In fact all the learning all this new technology was one of the things that kept me clean this whole time. I directed my addictive personality towards learning all kinds of new things, music related and other stuff.
This is the different between him and most of the noname "type beat producers" now a days. There a still type beat producers that are really good like young taylor or thatboygetro
Any producer using FL who isn't watching these videos, especially if you haven't made it yet, is really missing out. There's so many golden nuggets just watching what he does.

Arm the disk to record; you just click the button near the bottom of the mixer track it should turn red when you click it It looked like he right clicked to render to wav but i normal just click the drop down on the left side of the mixer track and it has an option that says “render to wav”and you just click on that
