Hi Emma! I remember I asked if you would compare the dark l and the w sound, I can't hear the differences between them. And tend to use the w sound instead of the dark l. You are so listening to your students. This video clearly explained the differences between the light l, dark l, and the w sound. You have pointed out what are the important things to pronounce these sounds.

My personal tips for a better understanding of any English lesson:
- Pause the video to repeat the sentences and to see the position of the tongue and lips.
- Reduce video speed from normal to ×0.75 or x0.50 to listen the pronunciation, find the connections between words, notice the intonation and also the lips movements.

Hello, Emma,I'm not your student but I want to learn English
In Indonesian schools, our teachers said this: a dark 'l' is found only in the Classical Arabic word 'Allah', a clear 'l' in 'lillaah'.
In my experience the Italian people aren't able to pronounce the dark L. In fact they have problems to pronounce any word that finishes in consonat. I realized it working with them, mainly L or P.
In other hand, Catalan people, as I am, pronounce properly the dark L.
Yes, you have something similar in catalan.
