thanks a lot! but if i don't use ableton (actually use it on koala sampler), the knob just have one mode and it send midi cc 21-28, is any way can switch mode in knob(so i can have 16 knob)?
I’ve created some custom cc messages in Logic, for zooming in/out and goto markers on my LaunchPad X and will probably make the same custom mods to the LaunchKey mini. Components is pretty useful. I have a LaunchKey 49 MK3 as well.
Bought MINI-MK3 keyboard and it is not working as expected. I press the SHIFT and only 2 orange and 1 green pads light up/ This is not what I saw in the tutorial vid. Cannot change modes with SHIFT. I tried to contact Novation 3 times and they completely ignorred it. No response of any kind. Tried the factory reset, but no luck. pads send note message on midi channel 10 but can be changed in custom mode. so set your keyboard sound to only receive on midi channel 1 but not 10 to isolate them... I just wish custom mode let you set pads to midi controller CC also. and it seems there's only 1 custom mode? too bad there aren't more
I got the 37 a week ago but I did not know that it has no on/off botton! Is there any way I can turn it on and of without having to pull out the usb all the time ? I have the 27 keys MK3

you can make use of the different midi channels 1-16 to make the pads in custom mode to switches for i.e. reverb on/off

what it means having a channel armed?
That means when I press a key on my MIDI keyboard the armed channel will receive the MIDI and make a sound. If it's not armed, it won't make sounds.

I just have the mini and there is no on / off switch, so you do need to take the USB out each time. I'm assuming the other versions are the same.
There are on/off USB switchers, just be sure to test to make sure it doesn't add any noise in your setup (it shouldn't, but good to look out for)
