Just hearing you talk about Stetns has sent shivers down my spine. I love that you describe the Underground as where the peoper stuff went on. It was our Mecca (although I visited the other clubs you mentioned a fair few times too). We would all meet up at a mates house in Redhill at around 9ish, sort the n nights candy our, (like you, I was a greedy bugger and would always double drop). Then fo the hour drive on usually about a 4 or 5 car convoy. Definitely our Mecca. The night Prodigy played was off the hook, you couldn't get down the stairs it was so packed. Anyway, glad you enjoyed our little club, I'm now going to watch the rest of your vids and join you in a bit of reminiscing
EZ Dugs. Proper history lesson there mate. I didn’t realise that’s how if use to work. I thought the shops would just phone the warehouse n say we want 20 of these n 30 of that. Didn’t know you had to drive around pushing them. For £20 a day😂. 🤣🤣🤣I told ya so🤣🤣🤣nothin worse bruv. Wicked 1 mate👊🏽
I wished haha. Nah it was firm sale at some and sale or return at others so sometimes id have to go all rhe way back just to collect the money from the week before
Spin a Discs Northampton is still in business Dugs just down the road from me now, born in Luton Bluebird Records was one of me haunts which became SoulSense records it was just opposite the Police station you probably would of supplied that shop.
