The Spookey cute ones are adorable! I’m also a Christmas nut, so not sure which one….. you’ve inspired me to pick up cross stitching again! It was my first love….. so many things to do!
Watching late, trying to catch up! Saw the chat comments about needing winter ornaments (snowmen, mittens would be great), but the comments about beach ornaments would be great also - beach ball, umbrella, sand castle, crab, cocktail, seashell, dolphin, snorkel mask or flippers.. etc. I have lots of ideas! 🙂
Love the stitch quarterly. It’s always fun to have it be a surprise. One RUclipsr I watch revealed it before I even got mine. That was very disappointing. I don’t know if you can control that in any way… probably not but I just wanted to let you know.
I can't wait for the release of the Halloween ornaments. I will stitch all twelve and would love for Denise to finish them on black tart tins. They would look so good hanging on a metal tree with my Halloween decor. Thanks for the tutorial, Denise makes it look so easy. Have a nice family vacation and fishing with the kids lol.
I have the Christmas ornament book and this would be a wonderful opportunity for me to have a professional, Denise, finish theml. Thanks for all you do. Enjoy your summer!
Definitely would stitch the upcoming Halloween…thank you Denise….such an amazing idea. I am currently finishing up the spooky stitch along…behind by about 2 weeks…lol…..Kimberly you deserve a well rested break…definitely have put on my calendar your live with Lori, I pre ordered the book and am so excited.
Love the tutorial I’ll be stitching the christmas charts ❤ Enjoy your time off with family/vacation. Hoping surgery goes well for your son and oh to be in your luggage off the Lori’s house !!!!
Great Video! I wish you the best for your surgery. ❤ I would love to stitch The Cookie Cutter Ornaments & I would love for Denise to finish them for me!❤
Thank you, Denise, and Kimberely. With work giving us some unexpected days off. I penciled in to finished SWTHW 4th of July Rounds. It took me all day but, I was able to finish them. Thank you for getting me started.
Thank you, Denise, for such a great finishing tutorial. I love how quick Denise is. I wish she would do a bunch of my finishes!!! I have the Sweetheart Ornaments and the Star-Spangled Ornaments all kitted up and ready to stitch. I work on these when we travel or are out at the farm in our camper. I did the "notify me" on Spooky Cute Ornaments pattern, I can't wait for it to come in stock. It would be so awesome for Denise to use her talent at finishing projects. I would feel so lucky and eternally grateful to have pieces that I stitched and have them finished by Denise. My local Stitching Sisters group are planning a SAL for all the It's Sew Emma's Ornament patterns, so I know I will have a lot to finish and can learn from Denise how to get them all done quickly!! Kimberly, have a great vacation (we will all miss you and still watch all the videos), a great visit with Lori Holt (I'm jealous) and lots of prayers that your child's surgery and healing time are successful and quick.
Would love to have Denise finish the Spooky Cute ornaments for me just the way she did on this video! She is amazing, as are all of you! Thanks for all the fun ideas you always have for us!
Oh, such cute finishings!! I wish I could stitch stuff like that! But I’m still learning & figuring things out. I hope you have a great time off; and I hope everything goes well with the surgery & all that is involved with that! Happy stitching! 🪡
I love the Halloween ornaments. I think it would be fun to have Denise finish the Halloween ones for me. I hope you have a wonderful vacation and special time with your family! Happy Stitching
Denise is amazing. I love watching her work. I hope you enjoy your time off, Kimberley. I’ll sure miss your videos, though, but we all need vacations. And all the best for your child’s surgery.
My husband made me a cutting table using shelves and table tops from IKEA. I use it for my quilting and cross stitch finishes. I have an old cutting mat that I use when working with glue or paint. I have all my supplies in my sewing room. I love it.
Love the ornaments. I have stitched the Christmas, Patriotic, Valentine and all but a few of spring. Just ordered the autumn designs and requested to be notified of the spooky release. I’m more a process stitcher than a finisher. It would be fun to have Denise fully finish a set for me. Enjoy your family time. The time you invest in your children is priceless.
Kimberly I will miss you a bunch but you are certainly entitled to a personal life. Especilly to spend with family. That is what life is all about. Have a fantastic vacation, Super fun with your bestie Lori and mostly a positive medical procedure!
I will miss you, but your kiddos are only young for so long. Enjoy that time! Enjoy time with Lori, and prayers for your kiddo who’s having surgery. ❤️
Love you guys! Love your videos! Yall are amazing and so inspiring! I have not yet stitched any of the ornaments but if I were to win, I'd do the fall or the Americana ones because those are my fav❤rites!! Thank you Denise and Kimberly! And the whole team! Gonna miss the normal videos but looking forward to what you guys put out (cause it'll be great no matter what!)and good luck, Kimberly, for your travels and your kiddo's surgery!
I am late to the Cross Stitch party so I've been watching all the Cross Stitch & Flosstube videos from the beginning - I'm sure that will keep me busy for a while! I'm really looking forward to the first Mystery Christmas cross stitch release and have my fabric & floss ready to go; now that I see that SUPER CUTE matching needle minder I think I need to add it to my collection. Enjoy your time - you and your team give us so much helpful & entertaining content and I'm certainly hooked on Cross Stitch now - FQS makes it so easy for beginners to get started with all the wonderful kits & free patterns; thank you!
The striped ribbon gets my vote for the Halloween tart tins. I am currently stitching the Patriotic pattern booklet and would love to have Denise finish them for me! 😊 🤞
Congratulations Kara! You are the winner from the Spooky Cute Ornaments Finishing giveaway. Denise will be finishing a set ornaments that you choose to send. In order for her to finish it you will need to stitch on 25 count. Please send your name and address to ashley@fatquartershop.com by July 10th. Thank you!
I hope you have a wonderful vacation and I know you will have fun at Lori’s. We will miss you, but will be right here waiting for you when you get back. ❤
Thanks for sharing this tutorial and all of your great team work! I also don't decorate for Halloween but with all the other kinds of ornaments types you have, I may have to make some of these! I made the Lori Holt stitch cards into ornaments last year for presents for everyone and they loved it! I followed your tutorial on how you made them last year. I haven't tried these tart tins yet.
Kimberly, no worries we will all be here when you get back. I am just waiting to get the first part of the new SAL . Thank you for this tutorial it was really fun. Marked my calendar for July 12th, to see you and the others at Lori's for the new book. Have a great vacation and see you soon. (I finished my Spooky and Sweet last night, it's so cute.)
Great video today! Wishing you safe travels and I hope surgery goes well. I will be thinking of you! I would love to stitch the Christmas ornaments and have them finished by Denise -what a great giveaway! Enjoy your busy summer!
Thanks for the great tutorial. I would love to stitch the patriotic ornaments and have Denise finish them for me. Good luck with all your adventures in July.
I am half way through stitching the autumn ornaments, but not on 25ct lugana. Would definitely stitch the Halloween or Spring on lugana . Loved watching Denise finish, genious way to center 🙌🏼. Hope I win 🤞🏻
Wonderful tutorial! (not going to enter contest, just wanted to let you know what a great presentation it was). The ornaments are so cute. I really appreciated the step by step, especially the lacing and the kind of thread to use. I hope Kimberly has a great vacation and the surgery for someone goes well. I'm going to have some minor surgery myself. I am looking forward to presentation at Lori's house. I still plan to do Jolly July and finish Moonbeam just as if you were here. Many blessings for you and your family. 💕🙏🪡
Great tutorial! Safe travels, Kimberly, and prayers for your child's surgery🙏🙏🙏. Not entering for Denise's finishing as I don't have any ornaments stitched. (Sure wish I did!) But just wondering if any winners were announced from the Luminous Fiber Art's giveaway a few weeks ago? I'll miss Wednesdays with Kimberly!
Great video! I really liked all the finishing instructions. I actually tried to finish the Christmas ornaments this past Christmas and used the tart tins. I had problems with them not staying in the tins after hot gluing them in place. After awhile they were falling out of the tins. I am wondering if you have had this problem and how did you fix it to make it more permanent? I am sure my problem has something to do with user error. I will definitely use the lacing method you showed us today in future finishing projects. I really like the ornament series and have stitched several. I probably would choose the Fourth of July set to have finished. How exciting! Everyone have a great and safe July!
Hello Marlene! Denise has not had a problem with ornaments falling out! She uses Gorilla Glue glue sticks and applies a generous amount of hot glue to the tart tin. Just a quick tip: work quickly when attaching the circle to the tart tin because the tin cools down the hot glue super fast.
Kimberly you can photograph all 12 on the front of a tree. Most people just decorate the front, especially if the back is near a wall. Just put on the photo: photographed all 12 in front . I think that will be fine. But not a professional. But I think it’s fine.
Denise said she stitched all of the ornaments on one piece, did she stitch them using the whole piece of cloth then cut the ornaments apart for finishing or did she stitch the on individual pieces of cloth?
@@FatQuarterShopFlossTube thank you I use the calculator all the time. I didn’t realize it would help with the size of the sticky board rounds I would need to use. Thanks again
Hello Pam! We wrote the pattern to be stitched on 25 count so we do not have an Aida alternative. If you have Facebook, you could try asking in Kimberly's Stitch Squad.
I was going to share a picture of the Star Spangled Ornaments and how I displayed them, but I guess you can't attach photos to the comments. I also did the Sweetheart Ornaments!

I love this video! I've stitched the 4th of July. And I'm too ready to stitch Halloween! I love the black paint idea
I can't wait for the release of the Halloween ornaments. I will stitch all twelve and would love for Denise to finish them on black tart tins. They would look so good

Ugh... I'm in withdrawal without an AM floss tube!! However, enjoy your family!! Well deserved!!

Kimberly, enjoy your vacation. Best wishes for a successful and painless surgery.
I would love for Denise to finish my cookie cutter ornaments!
What a great giveaway! Have a wonderful summer and safe travels with the kids! I look forward to seeing your projects when you return!
That was a great tutorial - thanks so much! I would love for Denise to finish my Christmas ornaments!
The Star of Wonder looks cute and fun! If I get chosen for the “finish”, I would stitch the Christmas ornaments. Those would be great gifts.
Perhaps finish the tins with a red or green paint since it’s Christmas 🎄
@@Paula-m2q2s I think the Christmas ornaments look good with the white enamel tins.
I’m all in for Star of Wonder

Have a wonderful vacation. All the best for the little surgery.
Thank you Denise! You make finishing look so easy and I love your attention to detail. I aspire to finish my cross stitch as beautifully as you.
I agree with you. The check is better than the stripe for the ornaments.
Such a great tutorial! Thanks Denise! I will be stitching the sweetheart ornaments!
I will miss you, but your kiddos are only young for so long. Enjoy that time! Enjoy time with Lori, and prayers for your kiddo who’s having surgery. ❤️
The ornaments turned out really cute and would make great gifts. Enjoy the time with your family. TFS.

The Spooky Ornaments are so cute! It will be hard to decide which one to stitch if I win. I think either Halloween or Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the great tutorial. I would love to stitch the patriotic ornaments and have Denise finish them for me. Good luck with all your adventures in July.
I will be stitching the Christmas. This is so sweet of Denise.
Great tutorial for finishing… Kudos to FQS… appreciate all you bring to the community 👏🙌
Anxious to see Star of wonder. Love your secondary "block" when you put barn star barn blocks together on one piece!
Maybe positioning the knot of the hanger string next to the “muffin” tin will provide more substance to hot glue the bow?
I am half way through stitching the autumn ornaments, but not on 25ct lugana. Would definitely stitch the Halloween or Spring on lugana . Loved watching Denise finish, genious way to center 🙌🏼. Hope I win 🤞🏻
I like the checked ribbon best
What a great gift from Denise. I only have stitched on 14 count

Safe travels and I hope the surgery goes well. I will probably stitch the Christmas ornaments or the Halloween ones
I'm working on the patriotic ornaments now, have 2 FFO'd and 2 more to finish. My next set is the Christmas ones for Jolly July.
I'm going to have to give in and stitch these ornaments 🥲 They are just so cute and adorable 🥰

I don’t celebrate Halloween. I do love autumn and the change of colors. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
Thanks!
Thank you very much!
If I were chosen for a finish, I would stitch the patriotic.
I’m sure there is another way to tie a bow. Like how us old folks tie shoes.
Denise said she stitched all of the ornaments on one piece, did she stitch them using the whole piece of cloth then cut the ornaments apart for finishing or did she stitch the on individual pieces of cloth?
Hello N! Denise cut her fabric into 12 squares and then stitched on the individual pieces.
What is the link to your quilting channel? I want to make sure I’m following to see the Lori Holt live
Hello Sue! Here is a link to our quilting channel www.youtube.com/@FatQuarterShopTX
Love the tutorial but how do I figure out the size of the rounds to use if I use a different size material?
Hello Donna! You can use our cross stitch calculator www.fatquartershop.com/cross-stitch-calculator
@@FatQuarterShopFlossTube thank you I use the calculator all the time. I didn’t realize it would help with the size of the sticky board rounds I would need to use. Thanks again
You're welcome! As long as you add in your border size that will help you make a decision.
If you only use aida what count should you use for tins
Hello Pam! We wrote the pattern to be stitched on 25 count so we do not have an Aida alternative. If you have Facebook, you could try asking in Kimberly's Stitch Squad.
What are the two quilts behind Kimberly?
Hello Paula! The quilts behind Kimberly are Halloween Memories Quilt & Cross Stitch Book Reservation: bit.ly/3VX3oPw
▸Spooky & Sweet Mystery Quilt Along Week Four - Finishing bit.ly/3xGIf2w
So 14 count Aida won’t fit in the tart pans?
Hello Bobbie! 14 count will fit but the design will be smaller and as a result there will be more fabric showing around the edges.
What color cloth did you stitch on ?
Hello Maria! Denise used Overcast 25 Count Lugana 18" x 27" Vintage Cross Stitch Cloth: bit.ly/3W26bag
Did you stitch I over 2 or 2 over 2
Hello Maria! Yes, Denise stitched 2 over 2.
Kimberly, you could have just put the fabric that was to soft in a hoop.
I’m sure this has been asked, but why don’t you use a hoop?
Hello Leona! Kimberly used to use a hoop but she has found that she is able to stitch faster by stitching in hand.
I was going to share a picture of the Star Spangled Ornaments and how I displayed them, but I guess you can't attach photos to the comments. I also did the Sweetheart Ornaments!
