Yet another visually amazing vlog with epic drone videography capturing the majesty, desolation, isolation, danger yet beauty of the northern Andes mountains. Danny, you are one hard cobber, the fatigue and strain on your body is extremely apparent. You are the hardest-working RUclips vlogger on the channel because you take the time to produce comprehensive vlogs of the trip that cover all the aspects of your experience, both good and bad. I turn 59 years old in April and you’ve made me decide I want another bike, and I want to do a road-trip. I already have a GoPro and a Mavic drone so all that left is trying to decide if I want a Harley or an Indian motorcycle. Thank goodness for Geelong and Laidlaws for giving you some dealer-level sponsorship to help you in your endeavors, but after the way Harley headquarters have berated, ignored and given you no corporate support on your adventures I am leaning more towards Indian. Looking forward to the next episode!
Imagine all the Road Kings made on the same shift had a reunion. One boasts about going to Sturgis, trailed behind a truck. One boasts about riding to Daytona, then up and down a street, back and forth, up and down. One boasts about being washed and polished every week. Marine One....hold my pint.
I have no water. I am very thirsty and feeling sick and weak due to dehydration and high altitude. But I will eat a chocolate bar (with nothing to wash it down), then I will climb a long high hill to launch a drone, even though I could launch it from my bike. Makes sense to me!
Watched other rider videos and I thought I've seen it all. Then landed on your videos and I got to say you take the top spot. Thanks for the lovely scenery and sacrifice you did to capture this amazing footage. 👍
Marine 1 should of ended up at Geelong Harley dealer , on a window display as a testament to its travels. Total respect for u Mr. Danny and thank u for taking me with u… ur friend in Chicago.
I've seen so many news stories about people being led astray by Google maps and GPS that I always use a paper map as well. I've heard of people blind following their phone and ending up in the wilderness off the roads, and even driving into canals. Some died others were more fortunate and were found.
Like he said, highways was turned off. This is in the simple settings menu 🤷🏼♂️... surely a little bit of common-sense should've told him to check his settings when it was taking him on goat tracks... Google by default picks the fastest, least congested route .... not single track back of beyond .... I love Danny and his trips, but as a traveller myself I do find some choices a bit frustrating 🤣🤣🤣❤️
As a professional driver with over 30yrs experience, and I don't want to "show my grandmother how to suck eggs" here. Always carry a hard copy map if you have room for one. Tough on a motorbike I know. But phones and Google do fuck up from time to time. A good road atlas or equivalent map of the country your travelling in. I wouldn't attempt any road trip without one. Really surprised Danny doesn't pick one up when he enters a country or preorders one online to collect as he enters that country. Perhaps he does and doesn't mention it. As that makes for a better story and more clicks😉😉
To be fair especially in Bolivia paper maps aren’t that available of any real use and often you have to chat up the military..I did this before this tech got a foothold and there’s even less insensitive for them to be mainstream
Danny, these vlogs are great entertainment, as you say keeping it real! thoroughly enjoying catching up on your previous vlogs, including seeing Dave Parry and Colin at Geelong Harley, great mates of yours and really good guys. Appreciate there's masses of work by you behind the scenes to produce these, something you underplay allowing us all to enjoy your life adventures. always keeps me smiling and laughing Thanks again. Ian
Stunning scenery, brilliant editing, amazing vlog. As I sit here on the brink of losing everything I ever worked for. This is the only thing that has kept me sane for the last few weeks and kept me believing.... Truly gripping.
If its just material things you can always replace them and get them back. Hang on in therr sir. It can only get better. As a wise man once said to me: "Even if you fall flat on your face, you're still moving forward!" Take care sir 🙏👍
What a trip. 80,000 km on the worst terrain and roads anywhere. What a bike. Absolutely lovely scenery. The drone footage is extraordinary. Thank-you Danny.
Danny, your Videos and Vlogs are the BEST on RUclips...and that's NO LIE! My wife and I both love your Videos....and look forward to each and everyone of them. Sure wish we could meet you in person.
Magnificent episode, insane scenery. Harley Davidson bonkers for not supporting you and channel as you are so inspirational, iconic of the type of people that want to own Harleys, and..... Marine 1 should eventually rest in a museum. You think, in 50 years time, people watching these videos will want to meet Marine1 in person. You will have an amazing legacy!
You are just giving it all, all the time Danny. I don't know how you do it from a physical and mental point of view. I take my hat off to you. Also this particular episode is a huge shout out to Wilbers, they must be proud of you as well as giving them a great ad.
Magnificent Awesome Editing and Vlog Danny, Love watching this series Brother the view and footage is magnificent, You are totally an inspiration for others Mate, You are truly Living the Dream, CHEERS UNTIL THE NEXT UP LOAD !!!
Hey Danny, I've loved every trip you have done but this one takes the cake. You're a perfect example to anyone who has struggled at certain parts in their life, when things get too hard, don't give up and keep pushing through.
DANNY,,, Fabulous footage mate’ I have said this repeatedly, your videos are absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for sharing your adventures Cheers Mate.!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you. I've been loving the footage and the whole series. On the issue with Google maps, phone and sat-nav, it has happened to me as well but in much less dire circumstances. I don't know if settings change with updates or if it is something else. You are something else and I have been recommending this series and your channel to everyone I know.
This is a great series. I think a couple of 360 camera's would come in handy so Danny wouldn't have to fidget with the gopro on sketchy roads. Just my little thought. 👍🏽
Your not alone. Solely from a viewer's point of view he needs more cameras. It would improve the enjoyment way more. Trouble is I'm guessing is both cost and hassle. The extra work that would take would make him have to do these journeys with no sleep. 😁😁
The sky’s color looks to be a deeper and darker blue up at that altitude. As if your almost entering space. Love your story and the photography that you take. Brilliant mate!
Awesome Danny, but I was super anxious for you man. Sat here trying to steer the road king with my head on that dark mountain road! Incredible footage mate.
Danny, I've had an idea for a trip for years. You should do Cairo, Egypt to Cape Town South Africa! 🌍 That would be the ultimate trip man. Let's go go go!
Danny you are such a drama Queen and so totally unprepared. BTW you could always get that drone shot by launching it from the road. They fly up you know!!
_You wouldn't want to be out on that track all by yourself._ Sure he would, you didn't see that Itchy Kootch had got there first and waylaid M$B with a GPS/SATNAV jammer so she can ride the big Road King from down under?
i've done riding in the rain at low altitudes and did high altitudes in the rockies in the snow in summer I feel your pain high altitude riding can be tuff . DON'T QUIT!!!
Great vid Danny. Hard stuff building that road. William Cox and his motley crew (5 freemen, 30 convicts and 8 soldiers) built the road across the Blue Mountains in 6 months. Sydney to Bathurst. Aussie day info. Glad I wasn't on that gang.
🤣...ya went through that first little village and..."THE HARLEY SET BOYS CAR ALARM OFF🤣😱🤣!" My ole 2006 standard 88(bought her new) built er last month to a S&S110, only dreams of the MPG yo get'n. Just ride er man ride. Outstanding!
One of the best Danny .. u r absorbing all that nature is throwing at u in ur own stride .. incredible scenery.. RKS is one hell of a bike !! King of the road !! give it a couple of knobbies it’s rhw “ King of the Off Road “
With a blog like this (stunning footage, drone shots, vastness, isolation and Danny in a positive and adventurous headspace), this channel will grow to 1M subscribers. Keep up the great work Danny!
Thanks for the heads up . I got one of those but I ignore it because I don't want anything for free but your good humour ,sharp wit and engineering expertise. Lol 🤣
I follow some of your episodes while using Google Earth trying to see just the spot you are at, its cool finding where you are and zooming out and going on to street view too.
Awesome job Danny! You r very smart about your channel and although the anticipation gets overwhelming sometimes, I know it's just because you r that good! And I'm sold on a Milwaukee 8 holy sh#*!
Consider getting a Garmin Zumo XT... Google Maps is fine in cities and most first-world highways, but beyond this it's a bad idea as it will stop working when out of service. Also, in general. it's easier to turn around on a narrow track when facing uphill...
My father bought me a YZ50 Yamaha back in 1979 when I was about 3 years, before I knew how to even ride a bicycle. Several years later, he talked of one day doing a cross country trip when I was old enough.. My father was taken away from me by heart attack when I was 10 years old, but I always thought about what if.. My journey still isn't over 43 years later after his passing, but I feel he is still with me riding across those unknown roads..
Have to say, although not nearly as extreme, I have accidentally left my google maps on “avoid highways“ mode, and without a doubt there comes that “ah ha” moment when you realize how much farther and longer your trip has taken had you only known…😩 Crazy, huge blunder! But it is making for an unforgettable epic adventure for sure! I am enjoying this trip with you immensely! Thank you for all your hard work and drive, Danny!! Ride safe!🛵💨

I’m the wash and polish guy. I’m to old to be trying that. I’m also too broke.
@@tax905972 to broke I get believe me, but to old,, nah not having it go one go for it
Danny, don't ever stop making these. After working 65+ hours in a week and a glass of whisky, this beats any TV show I've ever watched.

YOU THE MAN DANNY!
Balls of Steel.

I've loved every trip you have done but this one takes the cake.
You're a perfect example to anyone who has struggled at certain parts in their life, when things get too hard, don't give up and keep pushing through.
This may very well be the best video I've seen from you, MDB. Thank you for the unbelievable adventure!
*I don't need to climb hills to launch my drone - I do it from where I am already, that's why I got a drone FFS.*
Awesome Dan that bike, wholly sh.t, hope Harley Davidson sponsors you after all this, or get a new bike 👍👍 awesome promotion for them, thanks mate
DANNY,,, Fabulous footage mate’ I have said this repeatedly, your videos are absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for sharing your adventures Cheers Mate.!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
What a ride! Marine One is a beast!!! "The road less traveled..." Can you imagine what you would have missed if you'd taken the regular road!?!
Thank you. I've been loving the footage and the whole series.
On the issue with Google maps, phone and sat-nav, it has happened to me as well but in much less dire circumstances. I don't know if settings change with updates or if it is something else.

Great series, Danny! You are an inspiring human being! Love the videos and your “can do” attitude. Best to you!🤙🏼
This series just gets better and better.
Marine 1 should be in the HD museum.
Danny ; one of your best so far ; better than the death road !!!

One can only imagine Danny had that music in his video in his head while riding through such magnificent scenery.
Insane views Danny! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences through this journey! Just amazing.
These are amazing videos. The footage you capture, even when under stress, is amazing.
So glad you have the heavy music back again 🤘🤘
I am amazed that you made it back to civilization and to your hotel. I thought for sure you would send the night out in the cold mountains.
Danny, I've had an idea for a trip for years. You should do Cairo, Egypt to Cape Town South Africa! 🌍 That would be the ultimate trip man. Let's go go go!

Amazing scenery. You go far and beyond to get those great drone shots. Well done Mate.
Best wrong route of all time!!😎✊incredible scenery!
It would have been funny as hell if one or more of those lamas started chasing Danny when he got off his bike
MDB must look pretty spooky to a llama 😆
With the Benny hill theme song lol!
His former girlfriend Veronica gave him the bad habit of wanting to chase and pet animals on the side of the road.🤦♂️
@@bradboustead1682 You should've said "former girlfriend", poor Veronica is gonna be crushed that you think she looks old..
Holy sheet!… that was awesome! One of your best Danny! You definitely have big brass ones. 👍🏼
Danny you are such a drama Queen and so totally unprepared. BTW you could always get that drone shot by launching it from the road. They fly up you know!!
The Road King has been fantastic HD should do a Road King Gravel M1 version and show MDB as a promo ad.
A real scenic ride.

jeez, i was hanging onto my chair on this one lol. superb as always Danny.
It's a good job you've got the production crew with you Danny. You wouldn't want to be out on that track all by yourself.

You certainly weren't lost, you were in the right place there Danny.
I can’t say enough how beautiful your footage is. I’m loving this vlog series.
DANNY you need to ride through the Canadian Rockies...awesome mountains and the roads are paved!
I know its ewasy to get distracted by ass, but keep your eyes on the road!

I am shaking my head. I don't know how you do it. Good job. 🙂
That's it Danny I'm convinced ,put the road king in the next Paris Dakar rally.
My biggest concern would be running out of gas ⛽️, great vlogs. Thank for the adventure
I think that road was better then the death road. Awesome stuff
Keep the Highway off mode! These are the tracks and scenery we want to see and not the toll roads. Awsome ride and vlog 👍
