Unfortunately, the LARSON / SWEETLIGHT softboxes we have used for four decades are no longer available. Created by George Larson in the 1970's, in 2019, the company that most recently produced his famous and popular line has given in to competition and cheap imports. When you're ready, there remain some very high quality soft box manufacturers that make light modifiers that will probably last a lifetime.

Was wondering. Why does the model needs to lean forward a little? Why can't she just stand straight? What does leaning forward achieve?
This is a timely video for us as we have been asked to do this for a family member.
She might be the most beautiful woman I have ever seen 👀
Great work on the photos! Beautiful work
See IS one of them! Thanks for watching.

Thanks Tim. My grand daughter has asked me to take her wedding photos (haven't done any wedding photos in years). She will be married Oct. 24. You have given some very great posing tips so far. I'm going to get her to watch this too, and we'll come up with a plan. As soon as her wedding dress arrives, I will be doing the studio work, then later the wedding. This is perfect to refresh me for this. Thanks again.
Fantastic! That;s a great idea.
These are the techniques and poses I was taught many years ago. It’s wonderful to watch you work. Thank you for keeping classical portraiture alive and growing.
I have followed your work since your hair was dark. Please keep teaching.
Thank you so much! Appreciate it, Emory.
hat Is tipped to the master…lost art nowadays…keep them coming please.
I will do my best. The audience for classic portraiture is small, but it still needs to be taught.
Excellent 👏👏👏
Thank you!
nice Tim hard worked, thank you for all you do
What specific Maheu background were you using, the Kelly beige?
Yes. Mine are matching 10x12 muslin.
Fantastic work, just a quick question what is your camera setting? Is it no light no picture?
Depends on many things, but in the studio I've gone from al strobe to all constant LED lighting.
So inspiring to see a master of classic posing work. This is what I learned when I began my career and it makes me so happy that you continue to share these techniques for the new photographers. If they are smart, they will learn these techniques. They never go out of style and the images produced are truly beautiful. Another great video Tim. Please keep sharing your knowledge.
Thank you, I will do my best.
As always, I eagerly anticipate your next video. They are all so helpful and fun!
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you Tim for sharing the video.
Can I ask you what size are the soft boxes?
Thank you
Main 3x4 / Fill 4x6 Hair 12x30
@@TimKellysMasterPhotoTechniques Thank you Tim !

The two softboxes on the left side are the same size ?
@@gafko @gafko I have a 3x4 and a 4x6 (twicw as large.) The 3x4 is the main. If I light from theleft, they are both on the left. Occasionally, the key light is on the right and the 4x6 remains right, but is turned OFF the subject.
I have many lighting instruction videos in the CLASSIC LIBRARY
