    I'm currently making this bracelet using Matte Gunmetal cubes, Metallic Brown Iris cubes, Earthtone Metallic Czech Faceted rounds and Matte Silver Lined Gold 11.0. It is coming up beautifully with an almost antique look. So classy looking and such a simple pattern. Thanks for sharing

    This pattern is very versatile! The top one is made using all black 8/0 delicas with gold 11/0s.
    The center one is made with bronze and oxblood cubes, 3mm bicones, and bronze 11/0s.
    The bottom one has red, white, and black 8/0 delicas, with black 11/0s.
    I'm going to try more arrangements! Such fun!😊

    Lol!! Looks like you already got your little hand spanked for going off camera so what I would like to do is commend you for almost always being in frame and always clearly explaining your procedures. You do a great job! For your critics I would love to see them try this, it is incredibly difficult and they just don't know how hard it is...perhaps they should not criticize so quickly. Great teacher and I can tell you love what you are doing! Have a beautiful day and many thanks!

    Oh right, then I have seen those messages before on Facebook! In terms of flat shapes, those are more-or-less just peyote patterns. It may involve adding or decreasing rows, but it is still mostly a matter of finding someone with, or, creating a pattern. We will in the next few days however have a 3-d pumpkin beaded charm/pendant/earrings!

    Great video! I have been looking for a project to use my cube beads. I really like this one. I tried it with 3M cubes and 4M crystals and ended up taking it apart. Didn't look right to me. I like it with just using the cubes and seed beads. Thanks and would love to see more cube patterns. :-)

    Ok, we can try to do one with shapes. Are you referring to more 3-D shapes? I may make one for doing cubes. We already have one that you can make diamonds/pyramids if you search the channel.
    We may be adding some new stores in the next few years... Where do you live?

  • @MsDW57
    @MsDW57 11 лет назад

    Ally,
    Do you think you could make a video on shapes with Peyote? I just learned Peoyte a few months ago, and I would love to know how to increase and decrease.
    By the way, this bracelet is awesome. I just made one in blues, and I used 2 colors of 4mm crystals instead of the 3's. I think the possabilities are endless. I can't wait to try some funky things with the pattern.
    Again, thank you for all you do.
    Now, if you would just build a shop in my town. I would be the happiest woman in the world!

    The rectangular beads I mentioned I have are by beaders paradise. I also bought 6mm cube beads in black but I'm not sure how to get that to work either.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  10 лет назад

      You could probably do peyote stitch easily enough with either one of them, but using this pattern will take some experimentation. It will either be much bigger, or you will need to reduce the row count. For the rectangular beads see this video for something similar:
      How to Make Rulla Snakeskin Stitch Bracelet (Peyote) - Seed Beading 380
      To make the Peyote Pebbles bracelet I would suggest just using the materials we used to ensure it goes more smoothly.

    I used to buy from Potomac, but lately when I go looking for the materials for a tutorial they never have the materials they put in the video, and that makes me uncomfortable in a way because they put a tutorial when they don't have those colors or models for sale?

    Thank u for the rapid reply. The beads I'm using are more rectangle than square and notice I have a lot of gaps in my bracelet.. Please help!

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  10 лет назад

      What beads are you using? Miyuki cubes in 3mm or 4mm should be a cube shape, not a rectangle shape, If you are using a rectangular shape, it does change the entire way the bracelet works.

    Hi Ally. I was wondering if this would work as a necklace.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  9 лет назад

      Jeanne Beverly well anything that is wide can work as long as it is a choker length, but longer and it will probably tilt over when being worn, without modification to the design.

    • @synhegola

      well, that's exactly what i said. the question is, if there is a purpose of replacing a blue bead (which is dictated by the pattern) by a cube in the first row ;)

      Complete sentence? When making free 20+ minute tutorials with complicated needle work, sometimes it is necessary to remove one's hand's from the 3x4 inch are in which we try to work, so that everyone can see what we are doing. We repeat the steps many times...
