I've had the Dexter Pro Boa shoes for 4 years and they look like new. Very comfortable. Comes with interchangeable slide sole but no extra soles. They are sold separately. Maybe you are slide sensitive and need different soles. I do not so I'm happy with them. And if my slide sole wears out, it's an easy replacement.

I wanted to get a pair of Boa shoes, however I have wide feet and they wouldn’t fit. I know some brands say that their shoes are wide fitting, but they aren’t. My initial pair of shoes were strike force and now I use Brunswick. Shoes definitely make a difference!!! After my strike force got old, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on shoes so I went with an off brand. I think they were something Elite…. No grip, no slide and I dam near hurt my knee the first time I used them. As soon as i started my slide, my knees buckled and I almost fell. Luckily I had still had my old strike force shoes in my truck, so I use them for the rest of the evening. The very first thing I did the next day was order me a new pair of shoes, good pair

I know this is anecdotal but I've had my SST8 for 10-12 years now and they still in great shape. I've had to replace some soles over the years, but that's much cheaper than new shoes.

I like a lot of the Dexter ( like SST8s) and mid - to- higher end KR shoes (like the Hypes). I've always used a Brunswick universal slide pair, but I just won a free pair of Brunwick shoes on a podcast last week, so I chose a pair of Brunswick Siege left-handed. I couldn't push myself to ask for the more expensive Boa lines 😅. That's just me.

I've been out of the game for a while, but when I bowled last Linds were far and away the best. What happened to them?

I'm a woman's bowler, currently in dilemma to buy SST8 Power Frame or SST8 Pro. Both of them are intermediate level shoes, right? What's ur opinion on this?

The Pros are a bit cheaper and minus the BOA system being in the Power Frames vs. the Pros being laces, they’re virtually identical. So if the lacing system doesn’t matter to you, go with the cheaper or better looking one!
