I think you managed to make that quite confusing because you didn’t explain every process properly ! i.e. don’t put peroxide in your eye but the container neutralises the peroxide , very confusing . 😢

No, you don’t need to. The eye “suctions” it into place.

I accidentally got some Clear Care in my eye & it was not pretty. I contacted a chemical burn & had to use an antibiotic for a week
You may have used the kind with peroxide. That's a no no
