Farm laws were a great step for better processing and privitising this unorganised sector.
But some Khap Panchayat contract farmers of Punjab and Haryana feared that this would end their monopoly in PDS/MSP market and reduce their profits.
Coincidentally UP elections helped them to get the laws repealed. Modi 2.0 was spineless as hell, they couldn't communicate the benefits of farm reforms to public.
Now tomatoes are of ₹10 to ₹15 per kg and all the other agricultural products are also available in ₹10 to ₹15 per kg all the farmers are in totally loss.
Food prices in Bharat have risen 11.5% in the past year, the highest in over 3 years. This is due to a combination of factors, including the Russia-Ukraine war, erratic weather, and high fuel prices.
The issue of rising food prices is not just a problem in India. It is a global problem that is affecting many countries. The government of Bharat can play a role in addressing this issue by working with other countries to improve food security and reduce poverty.
I hope the answer will be found at the G20 Summit!

I am Nimesh an advocate and I love this topic and I have researched a lot in it. I saw a video of shri sadguru ji who was on a tour to America and he was surprised to find that there is no rice coming from India. He also did his research and went to farmers in Indonesia where he learnt that farmers are growing on big lands like 1acre +. So they can sell it at a higher rate and make good money. How did the Indonesian learn this. To his surprise they said he learnt from the Indian institute of Agriculture in Delhi. They also told him that none of the teachers were owning any agricultural land nor they were handling any farm of their own. So how poor it is. my suggestion is that all the farmers where subsidy is given to them, they should be only allowed when they have such kind of agricultural degree. This will help the govt to make policy and urban population will also go and learn this thing and can do agriculture if they don't want to work in urban City.

What if government establishes warehouse/cold storage near every mandi and buy the produce directly from farmers and conduct auctions to sell the produce to the wholesalers? That way the government can make a profit, and it would also be able to track the prices of the produce.
Government ne online sell purchase ke liye website or app bhi banaye hai but Farmers are very lazy. They just want free subsidies and schemes.. They don't want to be innovative. They always cry (randi rona)

Iam from Arunachal Pradesh, our villagers all are farmers, our main source are tomato, cabage, cauliflower n green chilly. But unfortunately we family are sell tomato at 10-15rs per kg, and in markets tomato price is so high. Cabage price is 4-10rs per kg.

Why can't we start a company which makes tomato paste and ginger garlic paste ? If so we can easily store them in cans as done in America and can prevent crop loss.
You got a point
Preservatives is needed for such storage. And Indians try to avoid preservative added products more. The plan should be to store raw vegetables in cold storages and some research team which will estimate which crops need to be grown more in a particular year, by studying upcoming climate conditions and natural calamities. And provide those reports to farmers for better understanding and less loss.

Pastes are made by using chemical ingredients which is injerous to health

Bahot baar Farmers ko traders bahot kam dam dete he ki unka farming ka kharcha b na nikle. to wo govt. ko sidha bechna prefer karte he kyunki waha unko price better milti he. Par Jab govt. farmers se sidhe kharidati he tab 3-4 din line me khade rehne ke baad farmers ka number lagta he, aur tab tak sabjiya sad jati he kyunki wo truck me saaman bhar ke lambi Lines me dhoop me khade rehte he jaha storage ka koi scope nai hota.
To farmers ko transportation ka kharcha ulta aur badh jata he. Isiliye wo log veg n fruits ko raste pe hi fek dete he kyunki wahi only option bachta he.
Hame veg n fruit collection facility ko improve kar ke process ko fast karna padega. Hum collection centre badha k waha cold storage increase kar sakte he.
Ofcourse due to this triangle issue Bharat continuesly facing to achieve many opportunities....

Government introduced the 3 farms laws which could have been beneficial for these issues as it was introducing private player to make storage facilities which could have proved beneficial decreasing wastage of harvested crops . Secondly it was also allowing farmers to sell directly to the consumers thus helping them increasing their profits .
Farmer will become a king again like older time( in era of chatrapati shivaji maharaj) only when govt stop funding for purchase of chemical fertilizers and start focusing on typical Indian style of farming and also by spreading awareness about hydroponic or vertical farming, terece farming,etc. In that case only , farmer will become rich in terms of everything, children of farmers will also become new generation advance farmers of country. The fluctuation in food prices are because of low supply and high demand,
This is affected by 3 factors 1) climate change 2) food wastage 3) hoarding .
!) climate change is causing farmers to lose their harvest.
2) food wastage is high in India , there is no difference in food wastage data in india over a decade.
3) hoarding is also a crucial factor ,which works between harvest season, the black marketing of food grains is reducing the supply , thus creating hype in food prices.
SOLUTION
1) use of data
our government have to be very careful about the agricultural data because they can works on proper time and thus help in controlling inflation
2)Improvement in cold storage in India

Farmers don't export directly.
There are traders who pay them a penny (i.e same amount they get when they sell their produce domestically or even less) & take all the profits from exports
If these traders don't fill their pockets.. Atleast domestic prices will come down
