This is my current bike, with the same (ilmberger carbon) belly pan, DBK clutch cover, inspection cap and muffler bolt. I changed out the seat for a comfier ride and added 10mm handlebar risers. This is one hell of a end-game bike that brings a smile to my face. It's also not as expensive to service as my Ducati was and spare parts are very easy and fast to get.
Love mine, looks are subjective but to me it's gorgeous, the detailing on it is spectacular and no way would I change the carbon wheels. I added 20mm risers and dumped the mirrors for hjr aeros, added heavy bar end weights, very much better rear view now. Brakes are the best I have ever had. I have a KTM 990 duke too, you gotta try one of those, every component on the M is better but in the twisties the duke is a riot, not got the outright scary top end of the M but the way it rides is so much fun.
Before I even picked mine up and before it had even been launched in the UK,I was planning to either remove all the decals or have it wrapped, so unsure was I of the colour scheme. However, when I started riding it to work, even colleagues who had no interest in bikes at all, were drooling all over it and complimenting how stunning it was. So I kept it original. All I've done so far is replace the mirrors and put an AR Racing can on it.
I was thinking about selling my M1KR for a ‘25 Street fighter V4S but I saw the 25 MR and am torn…. The good news is that the mods I made are transferable to a 25 but I’ll likely have to get an updated tune file for the stage 2 flash I have. It’s an absolute blast to ride and this video just reminded me of that fact , so thank you !
What an awesome experience 🎉great bikes and good time with friends, the weather was perfect!! Can’t wait till we can compare the new streetfighter V4S 2025 with the new Pangale frame/swing arm and hypure breaks with the M1KR and maybe the aprillia Tuono 😊 You rock Chris
We have some pretty shi**y roads in the UK, too and I've covered 10K miles on mine through summer and winter and the wheels are holding up just fine. I do inspect them a little closer than I do with my other bikes, but they've been designed to survive road use, I would presume. I know they have coz it says so somewhere in the BMW literature. If you go through a hole in the road big or bad enough to damage the wheels, then you weren't paying close enough attention.
Pops & burbles - “I’m a child at heart” Love it ❤

Enjoy that beast! It's a great bike!

I'm looking forward to the 990 rcr actually!

Where did you find 10mm risers ? The ones I have found are 20 -25 mm and don’t want to raise it that high ..
Gates Pass! The bikes are awesome. I'm up in Saddlebrooke.

The M1000R was a eye opener to me. The front end feel is phenomenal. Much better than the sf, which I also loved.
Right, I have one of these and I love it. However, I want to see a bit more close up of this particular one with all its modifications.
I love that bike!! 🔥 has to be my next one.
It's impressive!

Where did you get all the titanium blue bolts ? I have 1 of 3 in New Zealand

Yea I've seen them crack, and some like your story that have a ton of miles with no issues.
What about the new Pani/SF V4S vs the new M R?
In 2025 sure
@CaliMotoTV Given the chance to own one, what would be your preference in the matte?
SF v4s would be my choice
Did those mirrors help reduce vibrations?
Vibration seen through the mirrors? I think so but i never used the stock ones.
