Okay, 1 this is literally my favorite resident evil 7 video ever, I haven't watched *all* of them, but honestly I just love this one so much. It's everything to me. I've watched it in it's entirety like three times, and have probably watched the Marguerite portion like five because it's sooo hard finding good Marguerite stuff in this fandom aughhhh-- 2, this might be a kind of weird confession but your Marguerite and Alcina comparison portion kind of inspired me to ship them..? Look, just, hear me out on this- please-
such a good video, I honestly wasn't super fond of Rezi 7 since it was so drastically different from the rest of the resident evil series when they could have simply made separate series loosely connected, but your video definitely pointed out a lot of positive things I didn't even realize were there. Nice to see an outside perspective on the series and now I'm happy they did choose a new direction for the series and I hope if they make a 9th installment that it builds more on 7 and 8.
ive been binging ur videos ever since i saw ur Poughkeepsie tape one and this was such a good video. i def think the devs intended for Margurie's bug birth thing to be thematically linked to her maternity. i mean its hard to find a way to make it more obvious than having it be around her genital area and making her stomach rounded this video also made me think about the treatment of the only poc character in the game and how his body after death is used as horror fodder with the player literally pulling around inside his corpse. maybe they uh should have thought twice about that being the only poc rep in the game
I hope there's a swamp witch in any of the RE games so you can use "Bog Lady Analysis" in the thumbnail (I haven't played the games so it's not like I know).
I want Marguerite and Jane Prentiss (from The Magnus Archives) to be friends, just chattin like two moms with their strollers at the park, but instead it's their bodies full of bugs n worms.
