It’s was nuts! It’s hard to forget lol.
Just finished the video and I’m very happy that my little comment helped inspire you to make this video. That’s really cool (and it makes me feel important).
I remember watching this show occasionally whenever I was in hotels or resorts during vacations. We never had HBO either so this show felt like a treat. I remember watching it at night (because we would go out and do stuff during they day) and I vividly remember distraction news scaring me. It’s the middle of the night, the show has no music, theres just a lady talking and a bunch of loud crap flying around. It used to spook the hell out of me. Noises get to me more than anything else. I also remember turning my brain off during the math sections. Child brain saw numbers. Child brain shut off and watched the math robot and mean skeleton move around.
Long comment over. Thanks so much for making this. This was a great trip down memory lane! Keep up the great work!

@@Moony1568 you know I never really found Distraction News scary as a kid but that makes sense. I think the tone of the show is so weird that any of the segments can be potentially terrifying lol

1:01:56 Personally, every time I watched The Revolting Slob, when I was a kid watching this show I didn't laugh at the gross-out or the Slob being abusive, I'd generally laugh at its comedic and exaggerated moments like the Slob's hilarious one-liners he'd spout out every now and then ("Can I Eat Now!?", "Rub my Feet!"), and how goofy he can be despite being grumpy and a lazy slob. I found the whole thing entertaining for what it was, and I always thought the Slob has his hilarious and charming moments.
+ 1:02:45 This personality shift made him all the more charming and enjoyable in my opinion. Cause the Slob in this season made me laugh at him as much as Season 1, if not more. I also love how the Slob was given more traits and backstory to make him all the more fascinating.
I do see your point for why you dislike him for being rude, childish, disgusting, and cranky in the first season, I always felt like he was meant to be a "Love-to-Hate" type of character due to how he seems to be intentionally unlikeable and unfavorable for the show to ridicule him, especially when he blows up at the end of every episode for being a slob. So I didn't really have an issue with this guy imo.
1:07:59 I was also wondering what made him the way he is. I'm guessing for the fact that he barely ever moves, he could be a little handicapped since he'd be shown moving off-camera, he is seen getting food from his fridge as of Episode 10. No offense to any autistic people when I say, the Revolting Slob may resist change since he probably has a certain level of autism on top of being unintelligent and indolent.
+ I'd say that he might have a disability, mentally or even physically, as he only moves his limbs very often and he was mindless enough to eat styrofoam.

I feel like I'm in the minority of people that actually liked Revolting Slob lol. Fun Fact, the Slob was voiced by Michael McShane, the same guy who voiced Tuck and Roll on A Bug's Life. And to correct you on the lost episodes, I believe Episodes 27-39 were actually a part of the first season, hence why they used segments from the first season (Lens McCracken included). Other than that, this was a great video. Out of everyone who has done videos on this show, you've definitely covered the most amount of content from it, and I applaud you for that.

    • @cashbanooka9166
      @cashbanooka9166 Год назад +4

27-39 are from Season 2, they were created as filler to air in-between hiatus and to allow more time for the production of Season 2B (hence the reuse of old segments). Lens being included in Season 2A is likely because they wanted an extra closing game besides Ten 2nds and Riddlesnake.

The thing with psycho math wasn’t really giving wrong mechanics for an equation, he was just telling you the order to do them. As in add then divide, it’s was worded as the addition was in parentheses and in turn all divided by the last number. That’s how I see at least.

another thing i've noticed about revolting slob is it also seems to like, look down upon people who are hoarders. I always found the concept of revolting slob more demeaning than i did gross as a kid - it didn't feel right to make fun of, considering i lived in a house ina very similar state growing up and Ihated it, but i couldn't do anything about it. Finally, someone else who remembers this show! I remember walking into my brothers room and saw him and my sister watching this show when I was six. They were watching Crashbox and soon I asked them the name of the show and that’s basically how I
discovered this show. I watched it for another 4 years but soon forgot about it. But then somehow I was sitting in my room and I just remembered it out of nowhere lol.
Also I ranked all 18 of the segments, this is my opinion btw
    18.10 2nds
    17: poop or scoop
    16:Paige and saige
    15:Riddle snake
    14:Dirty pictures
    13:think tank
    12:sketch pad
    11:Eddie bull
    10:Haunted house party
    9:radio scramble
    8:distraction news
    7:lens Mckraken
    6:captain bones
    5:ear we are
    4:word shake
    3:psycho match
    2:revolting slob (may be controversial)
    1:mug shots

I did not know about the death of Lincoln being in the house until I saw this, along with Washington having Human Teeth versus Ivory Teeth (I read that somewhere)

Has anyone ever wondered why Eddie Bull never quit his job? Is his "job" his eternal hell? Is Eddie in purgatory? This is what I ask myself when I watch Crashbox.

The narrator lady isn’t standing off screen in the room with the slob, her voice is done more like a nature documentary, which is funny as hell. You said it’s like seeing a zoo exhibit. Very good take on this fun little show I still love to this day although you may be too young to know what a “nature docu “ is.
