"Then you just decide to be happy anyway. They will still give someone a really warm hug." I'm a beginner and have been feeling terrible about all of the imperfections in the first quilt I want to give as a gift. I so needed to hear this! You are the best teacher. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I speak truth. I'm glad it is helping you. Keep quilting. You just get better and better!!
Am only a novice at this and I am afraid to square up a wall hanging I've just made. I will do it, I will, and I'll be happy with the result, as you said. And I'll do better next time. ❤👍from Somerset UK
Hooray!! I'm cheering for you from here!!
Thanks. ❤
Such a pretty quilt! You are so great. I Love every one of your videos. the two boarders/edges of red is so fun. I would have never thought I could do only two!
Thank you so much!
Short and sweet! Warm hugs are always good, even if they are crooked. :)
Yes they are!
You are such a square! In the best way. And bobbles are very common in my life. Thanks for such clear helpful videos. 👏
Happy to help!
As a beginner at quilting this is helpful, thank you! 😊
I'm so glad!
Your information and demonstrations are always so good and positive. Thanks for the video 😊
Thank you for your kind words.
This is one of my favorite parts of quilting. So satisfying!
I totally agree! Every step keeps making the quilt better and better!!
Haha! I remember using scissors when trying to square up. "We've come a long way, baby!"
So far!!
Thanks, love your channel
Thanks for watching!
simple and clear
Thank you for your comment.
Thanks for sharing
You bet!
I have several “unsquare” quilts in my past. I like to blame the longarmer for stretching the corners 😆😆😆
You and me both! Except that NOW - I'm my own longarmer!! Oppsie.
A beginner which way to cut your squares, salvage to salvage or other way round. Does it make the whole patch floppy or have ears from side.
Struggling a lot.
As long as you don't cut your fabric on the bias you should be fine. I usually cut my squares selvage to selvage first, and then do the next cut. They eventually get cut both ways and it doesn't really matter which way you cut first. (I hope I understood your question.)
What is the rotary cutter brand you’re using ?
I tell all about it in this video. Around 1 minute and 25 seconds.

Isn't this patchwork not quilting?
Where you live might change what you call it. It is quilting... because it is quilted.
