Man, that thing should be knocking down 9s effortlessly... have you been logging and sending it to them for revisions? Also be careful on making hits with less than half a tank, the fuel will stick to the walls from the hit and starve the pumps. 🤙👊😎🫡
Good looking out on fuel level, I always knew not to run it hard under a quarter tank but didn’t know at under was bad as well. I’ve been logging but haven’t got any revisions yet. Hoping we can figure it out at the Livernois track rental this Saturday.
Hell yeah brother was wondering what you where running the last video from the track. The 10s is nothing do look down on but super low 10s almost 9s let's go bro. An you finally broke down and bought one ethanol R lol
So close but so far. It’ll get there, it’s just needs some more fine tuning. That one ethanol R is no joke, had a hard time finding some but finally got lucky with a dealer that’s not too far away from me. 575$ for 54 gallons shipped
That Demon 170 was doing some weak burnouts nowhere near enough heat in the tire the 1st few passes. Last pass he finally did a decent burnout and it hooked alot better. He needs to pull the car up out of the water a bit more before he starts his burnout and get them tires warm! As you said looks like he may have some other issues.
100% I was thinking the same things. Wanted to say something but you never know who people will take things. If I see him there again I’m gonna say something. Was disappointing to see it have issues when you know how capable they are.
Great video bro loved it. Good advice on checking fluids..... Really good advice which is why I run two breathers one for each side. Remember E85 will cause ur breather to fill up with water pretty quick so make sure u drain those as well.
Appreciate you bro. I’ve been thinking about the two catch can thing for awhile but didn’t know for sure what to get. You’re a beast when it comes to this Trackhawk platform. Always dropping that knowledge
@@Cole_Dash Yes brother get the Billet Evolution Pro catch can from Satera Tuning and yes u will need two of them one for each side. I tried one and fuilds and oil were coming out of it and leaking down onto the header. They have a pet-cock with a hose that drains out. Once I put the second one in I had no more issues but I drain them once a week and a LOT of water comes out like a half a cup each time on both sides. Im not sure if Dan has talked to u about this but u should be leaving in SECOND gear bro not first. Dan can send u a file with 1st gear removed. Just have him do it for ALL modes. Sport, Track and Auto. When u bump up to the 3.8 that 1st gear will become useless. Its pretty much useless now as its just too tall. U can also have it tuned to close the throttle body when it sees tire slip I have mine set up that way. Ur gonna want to slow ur throttle down which is gonna be necessary when ur making 1200 whp trust me. Ive been thru many trial and errors trying to get it dailed in its not easy when ur making a lot of power or should I say MORE power than ur making now cause ur making a a LOT of power right now as it is. Making HP is easy. Putting it down is much harder but with the help of a good tuner u should be able to get it dailed in. The DSC controller will help as well. Ur gonna want that when u try to dial in ur truck as u can make the rear shocks stiffer cause u can control how much pressure is put back there same for the fronts. Its just another recipe in the combo to get all that power to actually hook up. Remember its a BLOWER not a Turbo so controlling boost cant be done with conventional means like with a Turbo so other measures have to be taken.
