Taking cook didn’t make much since to me. Cook wasn’t a WR1 at his previous stop and we already have a bunch of talented unproven guys like cook. Florida is in win now mode and us not taking cook leads me to believe they felt they could get better. We have guys on the roster but outside of Tre nun of them guys has SEC experience and have been a consistent guy for Florida. I expect us to grab a true WR1 to pair with Tre and who ever rises for that 3rd spot. I want the young guys to have an impact but only if they earn it. We need another guy to set that bar higher for them to reach. We shouldn’t be rolling the dice on young talent regardless of rating. If they show up we will see them. But we need a guy who we know is starting without second thought. Sturdivant is good but still unproven. Mizell good but unproven. I don’t think Florida is done at WR. This lagway window is small no time to watch guys develop. They either wit it or they not. Go gators🐊
