I’m a Paramedic and work 24hr shifts. On those shifts where we got up a few times at night and got very little sleep. I’ve found what works for me is to scrap whatever day it’s supposed to be as far as leg day, chest day, back day etc… I’ll start out with light weight movements or body weight movements and which ever is feeling the smoothest and easiest area to work. That’s what I work that day but I’ll keep the weight light for the most part and increase reps. Do about a 30-45 minute session just to get the blood flowing. Makes me feels better than doing nothing
@@evilweasil where I used to work. We ran average 18 calls in 24 hours. It was inner city. Now I work in a rural area. Average is 4-5 calls in 24 hours. Much better for longevity!
I’m a shift worker also, what you’re doing is burning the build up of triglycerides out of your blood stream! Apparently, from what I understand, the easiest way to do this is is in your HR zone 2 for about 30 minutes. Get on the stationary bike, work up to btw 120-140 hr and stay there for 30 min. But also totally whatever works for you! Keep killing it :)
@@pinoefin if I’m rested I just continue with my normal schedule. If not I’ll just get the blood pumping and prioritize which ever movement feels the easiest. That’s mainly to avoid injury. And if I don’t have a plan I’ll just do too many sporadic exercises and loose interest due to lack of structure and go sit back on the couch. But even if I’m rested. Say it’s supposed to be back day and pull ups feel like I weigh 1000lbs but push ups feel effortless. Then I’ll just make that day chest day. I try to let my body tell me what it wants to do more than the schedule. I find it makes me more productive and I’m able push harder with confidence most days because the movements feel easier
I’ve been watching for 3 years now. I found your channel when I tried CrossFit out and have been watching since even with CrossFit not being my sport of choice. You keep it entertaining and real in all vlogs and news updates. Amazing journey Legend!
THANK YOU for being someone who promotes the importance of sleep. Also, i'm mainly a coffee fiend, but that first thing in the morning tea absolutely hits different.
I think these vlogs are giving better perspective on how you two operate and get work done. You slowly letting in some work. This is helpful to entrepreneural types. Maybe Jas can give us a business day "tour" of the routine that keeps the business side alive
I’ve had something similar. It would keep me up/wake me up. I found amazing results with a strict elimination diet. It helped me heal after a 9 month breakout, narrow down my triggers, and I can avoid it now. Hope you find some relief!
Also used to suffer with terrible eczema from a young age well into my 20s, also was terrible with staying hydrated. I finally started getting on top of my hydration and sodium intake and it all went! I notice now as soon as my hydration slips for a few days it starts to creep back.
Life tip - crack the eggs on the counter, or any flat surface, and you won't have to worry about it exploding and dripping down the cabinets 👍. p.s. Love your videos!
welp, was going to mention this but too late. =) another "hack", crack the eggs directly into the pan and stir in there...saves cleaning an extra bowl/container.
I’ve noticed when I eat just eggs and bacon as breakfast, my stomach feels way better and I’m more ready to eat lunch later. And I do a veggie purée packet at some point for some carbs and vitamins.
Pro tip from Jamie Oliver, crack eggs on a flat surface. He was once asked if there was one thing he could pass on to everyone and that was the tip. Game changer.
Pro tip. Break eggs on a flat surface - or use the point of one egg to crack the middle of another egg. Less chance to get shells in your scramble / less mess. 😊
After I changed my diet to carnivore I no longer have skin issues. I also have started using a whipped tallow for my moisturizer. Try using tallow for your skin. Total game changer for excema.
Do more food VLogs please You’re giving us the uk version of food choices for CF and your approach is really practical Keep it going guys I love your channel
Best way to crack eggs is to avoid the corner of the countertop. Use the flat part. You can even just drop them of the top from like 10-15cm height. Perfect crack everytime.
how can i get those tshirts if i live in argentina :( i love them. regarding to crossfit, ive been training for a year now and i love it to much, i dont know what plan to follow from your site. thank you!
My kids have terrible eczema as well. The bottoms of their feet used to be horrific. They used to get super red and would literally peel. They’ve gotten better over the years but they still have some issues.
You should educate your dogs to clean up the scraps from the kitchen floor, as a dog should do🤣 Besides that, everything on point, and I guess I am on a good track, except for the sugar part, i still need my (almost) daily dose of sugar (chocolate mostly)...
Question from Austin Texas…… are you guys coming to rogue? I’m so excited. I’m going to watch this year. I’ve never been to a CrossFit event before. In fact, I’ve never done CrossFit before, but I love your channel and I’ve been following for almost 10 years.
What's the difference between making tea in the morning instead of coffee? Doesn't tea naturally have caffeine as well which would discount the reason you don't drink coffee in the morning? Curious on this.
Aye! I've been eating a high fat protein breakfast for a few years now and haven't looked back, absolutely love it. And yes I'm "shredded", get to enjoy around 10% body fat year around.
Got 12 seconds in Realized I have four kids four and under Then just stayed in the video for potential memes. I ain’t gonna be able to do any of this LOL
I’ll have one sometimes before I train or an energy drink like I did in this case but when I first wake up I want my body to wake up naturally not with caffeine
Thank you Craig Sulek
Quick tip, break the eggs on the flat surface instead of the lip of the counter! Works much better!
Craig - ditch those bungee hair ties. They claim to stop hair breaking but they actually cause it more. Get yourself a nice silk scrunchie 🫶🏼

I take a granule of Celtic salt before I drink my water and it helps retain the fluid. Also Magnesium helps

I was gonna say it too 😂😂
Ngl that childhood story had me in my feels a little 😢
I make a pitcher of green tea. I let it brew at least for a few hours. Maybe a few days.
So funny, i was in Scotland two weeks ago and brought with me the exact same tea. I really like Yorkshire and the biscuit tea is great.

You’ve got the lifestyle down to a T👍 Due to work and family I train at 6am… caffeine 100% needed.
You two are such a power couple and truly such a motivation 🙏🏻 a tip for the phone of Jess: put an AirTag on it, so Craig can ping it 😅
Always crack your eggs on the flat counter, not on the edge. Less chance of spillage and mess making Craig!!!
Best way to crack eggs is to avoid the corner of the countertop.
Use the flat part. You can even just drop them of the top from like 10-15cm height. Perfect crack everytime.

Eczema can flare up when the central heating goes on as it dries the ambient air in the house - E45 is good for topical relief :)
Forget the biscuit Yorkshire tea, try jam and toast Yorkshire tea. Soooooo good. 🤤
I haven’t tried the jam and toast tea it’s on the list
Biscuit brew is the nectar of the gods ;)
Immediately hunting down everything bagel seasoning.
1 minute still ain't enough for the tea. Give it 2-3 ;-)
Just got my Panda shirt today!! Woohoo!!!

Unfortunately not! They don’t give any outside media access so would be an expensive trip for not a lot😅
Ohhhh a natural weightlifter
Do I see a possible natty or not vid in my future?
Long time watcher - first time commenter… let’s talk eggs… crack them on a flat surface and gently dip you thumbs in the dent you create…
Protip..

Instead of cracking the egg on the corner. Crack it on a flat surface. Game changer, you’re welcome! 💪😁
Is tea for English the same as coffee for Americans?

I drink decaf tea - I just like the taste honestly
Fun tip- tap two eggs together and one will crack then you won’t have to get eggs on the floor.
Follow Jaz from time to time or tag along with her day running the business.
Yeah girl boss Jaz ! (I know Craig does business things too). How much of the business does Jaz look after? She has a degree in business right?
Replace those two spotlight bulbs which are out- putting me on edge 😆
I’ll wait for another to go out first 😏😂
