      I got denied by capital one four months ago for not having a checking account , do you think I should try again ?

  • @docsays
    @docsays 3 года назад +6

    I recommend waiting at least 3 - 6 months from last denial before reapplying or just apply with a different card issurer.
    For example, I was denied for the CSP in January. Then i was approved for the Amazon prime card & Paypal MC in April.

  • @emmapeel4299
    @emmapeel4299 3 года назад +3

    I try to 'garden' for 6 months between cards. If I am not where I want to be with my score, I will wait. I make sure NONE of my cards is open/has an anniversary date in Nov, Dec, or Jan due to holidays and potential AF's hitting during that time. I try to watch for something that will either really benefit me OR if there is a no brainer type of no annual fee/long term keeper, I will go for that. Always mindful to be at 4/24 whenever possible. It's worked for me so far. Thanks for the upload!

      Depends on many factors. Is your debt to income ratio high? Also, there is a soft rule that Chase won’t lend any more credit than 50% of your reported income (but can subject to change). If you have a high credit limit on another Chase card, you can transfer some of the limit to the newly applied card and be simply approved via reconsideration line. Good luck!
