Quite frankly I don't get the whole idea of being 'lame' if you don't own branded items. Dupes or original, it's all consumerism unfortunately. Practicality and wearing/owning only what you need until it no longer servers you is i think the most optimal solution. Getting stuff because they're 'popular' is such a hoax and a very unsustainable way of living. What's on tiktok is just items that have great marketing strategies behind them, is all. Overpriced items, too.
