A diplomatic passport means they travel anywhere and bypass almost all normal travel regulations. To put it into perspective, only high government officials typically get access to diplomatic passports. BTS are so incrdible in the things they've accomplished.
They had one for a short time only but a diiplomatic passport also means diplomatic immunity so they are usually temporary (they had to give it back a few weeks (?) later) and carefully controlled. They traveled during covid-restriction with the SK president to be part of the SDG (Social Development Goals) moment at the beginning of the UNGA. The funny thing is that the UNGA had specifically asked the SK president for them but since BTS has rather packed scheduls they were unsure if BTS could fit the event in NY in. The members saw it as their duty to be there. They are one of less than 10 artists that sang in front of the UNGA politicians as well being the first with a full oerformance filmed at the headquaters for "Permission to Dance".
Suga is the ambassador for NBA and miavalentino Jhope is the ambassador for louisviton Rm is the ambassador for national defense and bottega veneta V is the ambassador for Cartier and Celine Jimin is the ambassador for Dior and Tiffany Jungkook is the ambassador for Calvin Klein
21:30 just remember these guys not only have to memorize ALL their lyrics for their songs but also ALL their CHOREO for their songs. They sing/rap AND dance at the same time so their stamina is INSANE.

Jin is not cocky at all, or other people would sometimes use words like "narcissistic" or "love himself too much" to describe Jin. He's actually one the shy shy or quite guy of the group, especially in their early days, but he keeps that aside to lighten up the mood when they're in an interview or a show. If people just give him a little time to get to know him, they will know where Jin is coming from. He promised himself and the army that he would show the better side of him. I like the reaction, i hope you can react more. Not just their music and lyrics are good, but also their personalities, which is why the army loves them 💜
Jin are just soo beautiful outside and inside always lets the members shines..once RM said :Jin is the weapons of BTS as longs we have him we know everything will be fine 😊
@@anton_lezama_artyes but I do believe that it takes many new fans/people who are interested a bit longer to realize that he often employs satirical high self esteem. the world wide handsome joke is just another facet of his type of humor, which is not meant to be taken seriously.
The ultimate underdogs becoming the biggest band in the world. They are doing solo work now because they are gradually entering the Korean military for their mandatory service. Two members (Jin and J Hope) are already enlisted, the others will follow shortly. They will reunite as BTS in 2025 when they all finish the enlistment. The stadium pics are from different places around the world. BTS uses the biggest stadiums available, and always sells out. It's a fight to get tickets. Wembley in London is one of the biggest in the world, and it holds 90,000 people. BTS sold out 2 nights in a row there, and could have sold out a third night with the people still wanting tickets, but the schedule couldn't fit.
JHope was the first of one to do a concert on his own. He did Lalapalooza last summer. Held his own for an hours. 120,000 tickets sold, millions watched online! Broke ticket sales record! I gave to say, it was my favorite concert of an single artist in my life! I have watched the whole hour concerns DOZENS of times. He blew us away. Of course Suga just finished a world tour. Amazing as well! All the guys working on solo projects- RM -Jin - JHope - Jimin - Suga all broke records. Jk has just started with his. His new single SEVEN is #1 on the billboard still! Jimin up there as well. SEVEN is a little explicit, no kids in the room 😅 especially the dance version. 😅
@@carolcrooks7018 Lollapalooza is a festival not a concert and his show as a headliner took ca. 75 minutes not hours. Nevermind that he sold more than the other artists - helped to sell-out sunday first, a day notorious not to - but quiet a few of those fans also watched other artists. It is tricky to say how many came for Hobi and the numbers are guesses as numbers that high are never accurate but there were a LOT of people. Suga/Min Yoongi actually performed his last song "The Last" a few hours ago. His last guest was RM/Kim Namjoon with a new unnamed song. The day before Jimin was there and performed and on Friday JK was with him on stage. A few hours ago also Jin and Hobi were watching the show. Seven was still in the top 10 in the second week after debuting at number 1 and congrats for that! (also broke a World Record or two)
Korean age is actually 1 or 2 years older compared to international age. So when they mention their ages, our age system..they are younger. Like JK 15 in Korean age - but a young 13 in international age. They were still kids!
to put it in perspective, they were all teenagers when they signed with BH. in international age: RM, 2010 at age 16, Suga, 2010, Age 17, J-Hope, 2010 age 17, Jin, 2011, age 19, JK, 2011 at age 13, V, 2011 at age 15, Jimin, 2012 at age 16
62 yr old army here. I have never in my life known a group and them as individuals .... that love so much. I love their dance, rap and music! I found them 2 years ago went I was recovering from massive surgery for removing part of my bladder... cancer. I was scared. Never thought I would laugh again. I live all their variety shows. Everything they do ... other than God.... BTS also played a huge part of my complete healing. Cancer free now! Don't be to hard on yourself. There is hundreds of content to learn them. You guys are great, I will join you on your journey.
“This guy is cocky” quite the opposite actually. Jin has a lot of complexes but he also has an amazing life motto (one of), “gather all the embarrassment and it will become courage”. He always tried to be the best oldest brother for his members, he took an amazing care of them when they were bunch of kids far from home, even tho nobody told him to and he himself was only 19 then. He calls himself “worldwide handsome” as a gag since when they first went to the States and he was surprised foreigners find him handsome too (Korean beauty standards are different than western)
I don't know if you realized (because you mentioned to try to remember names and called RM "Kim"), in Korea they always put last name first. So for Kim Namjoon, RM's first name is Namjoon.
@@itz_blinkyyy back in 2014-2015 my bias changed a lot. Then most of the years was Taehyung. Now for the past few years I realized it's really TaeGiKook.
17:48 they only use curse words mainly in their solo work especially the rap line (Rm, Suga and J hope) but in BTS songs as a group you will hardly hear any cursing 😅
they also use curse words in their group songs a lot, but they are mostly in korean ..... all their group albums have at least 1 song with curse words/harsh language (korean, english or both)
To put their succes a little into perspective: - When they gave four concerts over two weekends in Las Vegas in 2021 the entire city was bathed in purple lights and dubbed Borahaegas, restaurants and hotels had BTS themed rooms and menus and there were BTS exhibits, pop-up shops and fountain shows all over the city. They held their concerts at Allegiant Stadium as well as simultaneous live-play shows of the concerts at MGM Grand Garden Arena; sold out both of course. - Approximately 400,000 people came to their 10 year anniversary fireworks show in Seoul in June this year (not even a concert/performance). - They're as big as the 10 biggest other K-pop groups combined. - They alone are responsible for approximately 0.4 % of the South Korean national economy. - Just one concert of theirs in Korea is estimated to have attracted almost as many visitors to the country as the entire Olympics in Seoul in 2018. So yeah, they're pretty big! 😅👍 💜
And for the 10th anniversary BTS weren't even there physically... only RM made an appearance for a short duration. The estimated attendance was 200,000 but double of that people came. Also despite so much crowd, there were 0 casualties, no riots or any sort of trouble, and after the event was over the venue was absolutely clean because armys cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave any thrash behind. That's true armys. Bts lead by example and we follow them💜💜💜💜💜💜
@@sbbs207 But we had some fun moments as RM played DJ and got fan calls and than a male "Army" appeared and RM failed to recognize... JK. V called after as well but was so overtired from jetlag and a long flight that he almost fell asleep during the call and RM send him back to bed.
36:05 No, they debut as a 7 member group, and then start doing music. The videos explains like the first to join was Rm and the second Suga.. Etc, because in kpop there is a training period whre the agencies decides which trainees (the ones that pass the audition) will get to be a member of the band. ❤❤
just to add.. the training that these idols go through is no joke.... they train for years and years some even train for 5 years before being allowed to debut if at all. In BTS, the longest training period was 3 years... from RM who was scouted and started in BTS in 2010 together with SUGA and months later they were joined by J-Hope.
@@jeniferlucero2030 J-Hope was signed first but only later attached to the project moving into the dorm on the 24th of december 2010. Jimin had the shortest training period with about half a year till it was decided who would debut. From than it is still about half a year to their debut but they were already posting blogs and dance practices on social media. Nevermind that I think the members actually worked harder and longer than even the trainees of the top companies. There is a reason why they had no Idol friends for years. The funny thing is that there monthly evulations who stays/is good enough to debut in the group but Big Hit didn't cut the bottom three "trainees" at all.
They trained two years before debuting in 2013 as BTS. Jungkook (youngest) was in middle school when he signed with the company and debut at 15 yrs as BTS main vocalist. All members bring something to the group. The rapline have curse in their mixtape and cypher meddles. What set BTS apart from others in the K-pop industry is their involvement with creating, writing, & producing their music. Also the topics and versatility in the genres they tackle. They’ve been together for 10 yrs and are now embarking on new journeys (solo music/ albums) as artist; as they look to serve their mandatory military enlistments before coming together as a group somewhere in 2025.
@@WellNo-jm3fw bby gang mag has a video essay called "you are wrong about K-pop" which holds some of your sentiment. But doing all that is still rather rare even as it becomes a little more commen. Subject and how much is done is important and immitation can lack sincerity. I know Stray Kids rapline are officially full members of the KOMCA since the beginning of this year and write at least their own verses (as rappers do). The song lyrics I have read from them were not that deep but maybe I was just too tired, choose the wrong songs or something to understand them as something deeper. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think Seventeen is even more self-produced than BTS but I have no idea about their lyric subjects. (their label PLEDIS wasn't actually one of the better labels but now that they are under HYBE and older - IDK) Mind you from oberservation many groups are still not part of the creation process or can choose their music direction. I have no idea how that works with new artists in the West in e.g. Pop - so I can't compare that either. You nice! Keep going!
@@ruthfischer7615 Stray Kids has a songwriting, producing and composing unit called 3racha. They write ALL the lyrics to their songs not just their verses(raps). 3racha are the ones that guide the members through their lines and monitor the recording etc. They do EVERYTHING themselves not even JYP interferes with their song creation.
@@sichumilemlungwana574 a quick look on wikipedia tells me that they do NOT work alone but do a *lot*. Which BTW tells me nothing about depth of lyrics - just that they are hard working musicians.
Jin calls himself world wide handsome because in Korea he is considered very handsome and he was surprised that world wide he is also considered handsome so it started as a joke that he is handsome all over the world. He is shy really but says things like that to make people laugh and lighten the situation.
In the Kpop industry, almost all idols enter as a trainee where they learn to rap, sing, dance, speak Korean, etc. A lot of idols come in raw and LEARN to become professionals and they spend YEARS training EVERY DAY for almost 6 days a week for 10-12 hours a day. Sometimes MORE. Which is why the talent level in this industry SHITS on the talent we have here in the states. For example, Jin didn't start singing seriously til he turned 21 and look where he is now vocally. I wouldn't say Jin is the most naturally gifted singer but I WILL say he's one of the most dedicated and hardest working. Same with J Hope, and how he learned to rap from RM and Suga.
i beg to differ on the "shits on the talent we have here in the states". what we lack here in the usa is strong teamwork and putting the team first, but let's be honest, our best talent in the usa is hard to match. problem is you can't get 7 bruno mars or beyonces to stay and work together as a team like bts.
@@rockbison You can beg to differ all you want. You guys can have your Ice Spice and Lil Pumps. Your Olivia Rodrigo, Jack Harlow, Taylor Swift, Bieber, Machine Gun Kelly, Drake, Lana Del Rey, Tekashi 69, Cardi B, DJ Khaled, Pitbull. Look at your artists that grace your top artists list every year. TRASH. OVERRATED. OVERHYPED. The best and most talented artists in the US puts out an album once every 3-5 years (IE: Timberlake, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Kendrick). Probably even longer. When was the last time ANY of these guys put out an album? So yes. It SHITS on it here. Maybe cuz the way they find talent here is off RUclips, Disney Channel or at a strip club. I'm lookin at you Ice Spice and Cardi B. Give me a break.
And J-Hope helped RM and Suga with the dance. It is mutual cooperation. Currently, all three rappers are already at such a level that they each have their own unmistakable amazing style that makes them the most interesting artists in k-pop.

13:42 I SWEAR I NEVER HEARD SOMEONE PRONOUNCE IT LIKE THAT 😂😂😂😂😂 LMAO THIS SO FUNY FR, DONT WORRY ITS LIKE ALL ARMYS BEGAN Suga its pronunce like "Sugar" but without the "R" sound (shuga)
That was a new one for me, too! 😂 It was awesome. I had to take a second to work out how it could be pronounced that way because I'm so used to the usual sooga one. 😆
Thank you for reacting to BTS! Don’t worry about getting their names right away. You’ll get it. It took me a bit to get it correct. 😁 Hope you guys will react to more BTS. 💜
3 out of 7 at first, but your final was 2 out of 7 😊, but we can all relate. There is a learning curve matching the name with the face. I’m impressed you remembered all their names. Really enjoyed your reaction, and like both of you. Subscribed. I understand how you thought Jin was cocky, because I thought that, too, in the beginning. He was actually just explaining how he was discovered and the World Wide Handsome stuff he uses jokingly. You will love him as you get to know him. 😊 I learned something new yesterday when I watched JungKook on Suga’s show, Suchwita. Suga said that JungKook had never sung before becoming a trainee. So he can be added among those who had no experience as a trainee. Also, when he’s talking about age, he is talking about a Korean age. He was 13 or 14 living with them as a trainee abs 15 when they debuted. When you think about it, only RM and Suga had rapping experience and J-Hope and Jimin had dance experience. The others were just talented kids eager to work hard and learn. By the time the debuted J-Hope and JK had learned to rap, and Jimin, V, JK and Jin all found they could sing… each brings a distinct texture to the vocals. I think having the different dancing skills that J-Hope and Jimin brought helped elevate all the guys in their dancing. I love them all. Someone who has been Army can correct me if I misspoke here… and if so, I’ll edit and correct my comment. 😊 They do curse some, especially in their solo songs.
Jin teases about being WWH. However, he was brought into BTS for his looks. He is handsome no doubt! He didn't sing or dance. He worked sooo hard! Live Jin....he is so fun too!
@@carolcrooks7018absolutely! He is gorgeous. I remember when I was first learning about them and seeing this video I thought he was arrogant. Couldn’t have been more wrong. I just didn’t understand that the WWH was more of a joke that he adopted because the fans called him that. I love Jin. :) I think I wrote it above, but JK didn’t sing, dance or rap either in the beginning. I knew he didn’t dance or rap, but I thought he had experience in singing. It surprised me when I heard Suga talking about it yesterday on his program. :)
While Jk can somewhat rap (and I'm sure he can be a decent rapper if he learns) he didn't actually learn to rap. Also the reason why Jk did not make it in the talent show was because while he had talent, it was all raw and not harnessed. He learned to harness it after he became a trainee. I am glad though, if he had gotten selected, he wouldn't be in BTS rn.... 😊😊😊😊
And quick note: the won 700 award was last year may update so recently it has exceeded 1000+ awards now they even won TMA award just yesterday Fun fact: they even win awards even when there apart... ( Not disbanded) i mean some are preparing for military service and some and preparing for their solo debut and Jungkook won no.1 on billboard hot 100 just last week with his song titled "seven" feat latto a western female rapper....
71 year old BTS ARMY here. The cursing is mostly limited to the rap line doing solo mixtapes, singles, live performances, and albums but not BTS as a group. They keep the name of BTS pretty wholesome. However, recently some of the vocalists have done it also in their solo projects. Jin always jokes around about his good looks and took the World Wide Handsome name with humor. They also have "in house" songwriters and producers that they work with for some songs. Thanks you two! ( That's the number you got right....TWO because you said V twice! You had Jin right and then changed him to the second V in the final lineup. 😂) 💜
Great reaction video. BTS is not your ordinary group. The members are brothers and have a unique bond that can be seen in their videos. They lived together for more than 10 years up until 2020/2021 when they got their own place. BTS did not start producing music until all 7 were together, but each has solo music too even in their own albums. You will notice that there is no competition energy, envy or jealousy amongst them they even support each other in their solo projects. Their bond is indescribable really. Some thing to know is that their first name is actually their last name. They put their last name first, for example KIM TAEHYUNG is Taehyung Kim to us. (Hope this helps) Their age is also different because up until this year Korea was using a different age system. So Jungkook was actually 13 years old when he joined BTS but because of their system they added 2 years to his actual birth. (I know it don't make sense but they finally are using the international age system like all of us) As you keep learning about BTS you will understand more about them and ARMY. We are super over protective of them but with reason. They have worked hard to get to where they are. And as you explore, you will see that BTS is still humble and have not allowed fame get to them. I would suggest you also watch their RUN BTS episodes, Bon Voyage, BTS in the Soop and even V's In the Soop: Friendcation. They also have lots of behind the scenes videos and their dance practice. I know you mentioned about the friend V had gone to support in the audition but V ended up getting picked. That friend turned on V and ended up saying some nasty things so you can say they are no friends at all now. Here is the list of oldest to youngest Jin, Suga, J-Hope. RM, Jimin, V (Taehyung), JK (Jungkook) In the pic you tried to name them, Starting with V (Taehyung) - brown suit, Suga - white suit, Jin - tan suit, JK (Jungkook) - blue suit, RM - brown suit, Jimin - blue suit, J-Hope - white suit. Can't wait to see more reactions from you guys. 💜Borahae💜
They do hire outside choreographers (American Siena Laulau is a favorite) to put together their dances... Originally they used an in-house choreographer, but as they got bigger and bigger, it became too much for just that one choreo manager (Son Sung-deuk, a legend we love) they began hiring outside choreographers too
Guys, I REALLY like your reactions and the fact that you decided to learn more about BTS. Kenneth, I've been looking at your reactions for a long time (to Russian music), and I was pleasantly surprised that you were interested in another of my favorite types of music! I hope you guys are doing this because of your interest and not just because of the views. I wish you great success!! xx
Enjoyed the reaction. If you watch more videos or even read their book, you'll find out they (BTS & ARMY) had/have it rough! It's a great, moving and humble story that is 100% true. I've never seen a WHOLE group as talented as a group and individually as BTS, incredible! East or west, have not seen any group as talented as them, gone through as much as them & still focus on bringing positive messages to people/fans. Never seen a group truly love each other like family as much as they do. Doing individual projects now, seeing their support for each other is awesome and touching. They are so talented; write songs, compose, produce, dance, they truly master their craft, no shortcuts, no fake media play to make them look bigger than they are (media actually down plays their success often). They truly are grateful for ARMY (their fan base), they show their fans their gratitude. I absolutely love BTS & ARMY. (I don't know if I could say I'm ARMY, but I support BTS & ARMY).
Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people counted age differently to others... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. The members were only 13-18 years old when they became trainees and 15-20 yo when they debuted. In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee) Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo) Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11 JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8 RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo) V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo) JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 27 (Korean Age 29). ... 2 years difference So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.) So he was considered 29 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 27 turning 28 in Dec. It's a different way of looking at age, from new years day - Tae is living his 29th year (since conception) - instead of - he turned 27 (since birth).... The Korean Government has recently (June28) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age. 💜Have a great day

BTS is a 7 member group who is now in their 10th year with a 350+ track discography largely written and produced by the members themselves conjoined by their inhouse producers. The leader 'RM' has 210+ credits making him the youngest most credited artist in Korea and the rest of the members are not far behind. BTS is known for being extremely profound at articulating what they introspect and composing it into the sound they with their artistic knowledge believe will deliver the emotion of their lyricsm. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. Like latin pop, old school hiphop with boom bap, rap rock, dance pop, ballads, emo hiphop, jazz etc. Since they articulate so well, their music is very human oriented adressing extreme mental health issues (all they way from comforting, motivating, to eery delivery with raw mvs that youtube asks for viewers discretion), sociopolitical commentary etc. Their discography shows the growth from school boys to the tribulations of youth, to addressing temptation, to reaching maturity, to loving onself, to finding the core essence of the mind (i work in the field of psychology and i have yet to find an artist that is as profound as bts in accurately potraying psychological themes) to fighting the pandemic to now doing solo albums as each of the bts members complete their mandatory military. They will come back as a group in 2025!
59:00 They don't do it all themselves though. They have an amazing team behind them (some have been with them since the beginning) doing anything from make-up to choreography to producing to..... They do however have a say in the proces and they also contribute and integrate their own ideas. You should see them interact with the staff, it’s freakin adorable. There's absolutely nothing pretentious about them and they'll gladly socialize with members of staff on and off the clock or do practical chores alongside them. They're genuinely good people. 💜
BTS as individual artists and in their solo works have more freedom of expression and reflect their own different styles of music as well as the language that they use... So they don't really curse when they make music as a group but if you see their solo works they most likely do curse😅 Because they are being more honest and more free to be themselves in their music🤣🤣..which we all as fans love to hear💜💜💜
Stumbled across your channel..57 yr old Army here. Watched these guys grown from teenagers into some of the most humble talented gifted artist and young men the world has to offer💜 The vlives are so much fun.. RM just comes and hangs out with us Yoongi comes and usually gives us such uplifting words J-Hope usually dances for us Jin cooks and eats with us JK takes song requests and gives us a mini show V does so many different things Jimin builds arts n crafts with us RM is a lyrical genius, especially the way he uses wordplay even between languages, composers using different beats flows rhythms.. He's also the only one who does not have a driver's license Yoongi is my bias and I love how he's so savage.. He seems like a very cold and distant person but he's very caring and loving J-Hope is a phenomenal dancer and just recently headlined at Lollapalooza.. Hobi is the sunshine of the group Jin was cast on the street getting off the bus that's true, it has happened twice to him... He did not sing or dance at all before he became a trainee.. Jungkook was only 13/14 when he joined as a trainee, he loves his brothers and Army so very much, loves to take risks, he's pitch perfect and talented in so many things. He's called the "golden maknae"because he's just good at everything he does🤷 V was hidden because the company feared he would be approached by other companies because of his striking good looks.V's voice is like a river of melted chocolate and his vocal range is amazing. He loves jazz and he feels like an old soul to me. He's very funny and spontaneous. Jimin is pure perfection when he dances, the feelings and emotions he's able to protray is amazing. He also had the shortest time as a trainee, around 7 months only. Army singing at Wembley stadium was amazing.. Not only did the Army sing young forever but they knew every word and sang it in Korean, a foreign language to most
The stadium you kept asking about. I think it’s MetLife stadium in the US. But they sold out stadiums all across the world already years ago, before getting to their biggest hits (including Butter you heard), before releasing even 1 english single. They sold out 14 stadium dates in the US amid covid arising, they are one of very few artists in history who sold out Wembley Stadium - twice at that, stadiums in Latin America, Europe, Asia, even Saudi Arabia
Nice reaction! Photo is V, Suga, Jin, JK, RM, Jimin, J-Hope. You guys did a good job, though! It takes time. :) Looking forward to seeing more of your BTS journey!
7:50 1.33 paid viewers means you could pay for the ticket and watch with your family/friends at home, so probably around 50M watched the concerts. Yes, it's a lot of money, but they rented out the Olympic Stadium in Seoul and hired a lot of people so a lot of money goes out to pay their staff and venue, catering, etc ;) Another concert they did, they (Jin) disclosed they did prepare with losses but they needed to do it: they needed to perform in their country that took longer to lift all covid restrictions, so they prepared a massive concert, and the stadium could only be 1/3 full plus no food or drinks or merch :)
RM taught himself fluent English by watching the tv show Friends!!!!!With subtitles and without he taught himself. That's why he sounds very American when he speaks English💜 SUGA is insanely amazing point blank. J-Hope is such an adorable person. He also was the lead act one night last year at Lallapalooza in Chicago on a Sunday night and broke attendance records. I'll stop going through each one bc they are ALL unreal and you will see it. They are some of the most beautiful human beings we have on this planet. Can't wait to see you watch their stuff 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
They say they will never be another BTS because the universe absolutely snapped collecting the 7 of them in the same group. Rocket talented in everything super hardworking amazing humans, and that in a broke falling apart company atop of that.
Thank you for reacting to this. I loved it! Don’t worry about getting their names right. It took me a while to get it. Check out “Dope”, “ON kinetic manifesto film” and “Black Swan.” 😊💜 I hope you guys continue your BTS journey. “BTS at Award Shows” is also a great one. They’re so goofy, it’s such a huge contrast between them and the other artists. 😝
Now you should watch The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS by the Rice Squad and BTS Hardships 2013-2021. After you watch the hardships video you will have a better understanding of why ARMY is so protective of BTS.
1 out of 7. V was right (dark brown suit with hands in pocket, then Suga, then JIN (Mr. World Wide), then Jungkook (JK), then RM (leader), then Jimin, and finally J-Hope.
55 yr old Mama ARMY here! Thanks for a great reaction video💜 Hope to catch more of your reactions to our guys💜🙋🏻♀️ They’re brothers and with ARMY we’re a FAMILY
The WWH thing is a joke to Jin, just to not to take himself too seriously since everyone says he is handsome so he makes fun of it so it’s not embarrassing
While they have made a lot of huge achievements and are pretty much the biggest boy group, their impact absolutely going beyond music - I wish people would focus on the fact that they absolutely do love music. They love making music. It’s why they’re idols in the first place. Their talents are something I wish would be brought up more often first before naming all these achievements they’ve deservingly received. They’re very passionate about music and performing. They LOVE it. They worked for 10+ years straight, focusing on group work more than their own solo work (rap line has more solo work than the vocal line but it’s changing these days as their break from group work is allowing them to pursue individual projects, as well as military service). Everything they’ve achieved and accomplished is something to be very proud of but I need more army to speak on their passion and talents and love for music a bit more before listing achievements because to me it’ll make more sense, a bit, why they’ve achieved as much as they have. They’re all very genuine people and hands on with their music. Music is everything for them, and it’s changed over the years as they have grown up but still very much passionate about music. They’re not stuck in one box when it comes to music. Anyways, I’m gonna finish this video now 😂
@@WellNo-jm3fw beg to differ. He is not on the same level as the rap line, but he can rap: Tony Montana live with Suga: ruclips.net/video/ip6OEzTyS90/видео.html.
Thank you for the reaction 💜 Cant wait to see your reaction to their music , lyrics and thier dancing skills they paved the way for the kpop to be famous around the world and they became the biggest group in the world
BTS members do write/produce a lot of their music but they have in house producers as well, namely slow rabbit and p-dogg who do a ton of the producing as well. They also have plenty of songs they didnt write, Dynamite, Permission to Dance as examples. Same thing goes for their choreo, they tweak it and work on it together but typically have hired choreographers they work with as well. This doesn't take away from their talent or abilty to do those things, only that BTS sometimes need help to make the monumental amount of content and music that they do. They are amazing.
I watch them every day just for the smiles and of course love for their music. For me personally, I love their solo work and their earlier songs as my genre is R&B. However, I also love and appreciate each member for their own individual uniqueness.
All the members have solo songs too. I will mention only few of each members' solos( The solos they released after debuting as soloists) RM- Wild Flower, Still Life ( This is a b side) Jin- The Astronaut Suga- Haeguem, Amygdala(this is also a b side), People pt.2, Daechwita( This is released before he debuted as a soloists but this is a banger so i have to mention this too) J Hope- More, On the Street, Arson, Chicken noodle soup ( this song also released before he debuted as a soloist, a banger like daechwita) Jimin- Set me free pt.2, Like Crazy Jungkook- Seven V hasn't debuted as a soloists yet his album will be coming on end of August or early September. U guys can check out then. He has a deep, warm and a soulful voice. OSTs of BTS and members BTS- The Planet V & Jin- It's definitely u ( V acted on the Tv series of this OST) V- Christmas Tree, Sweet Night Jin- Yours Jungkook- Stay alive ( produced by Suga) Jimin- Angel pt.1, Angel pt 2, Still with u Suga -Lilith Any of the members aren't on the Mvs of these OSTs( except in Stay Alive). We listen to OSTs on spotify so these don't have much views in yt.
I enjoyed this reaction very much. Both of you seemed genuinely interested in BTS as a whole and as individuals. They are unique among the K-pop industry in that they write and produce all their own music (have since the beginning) and they grew from the grass roots level. In Korea, they started the group variety show, the one-on-ones with fans via V Live, RUclips, and now, Weverse, as well as using social media to communicate with those same fans. There is no other artist like BTS nor do I expect there to be again, and comparisons within the industry are unfair to them. They transcend K-pop (which just means Korean popular music). I'm a true witness to this, being a 63yo woman that found them after a lifetime of mainly rock'n roll and alternative music. They changed my life and I'm grateful to have them during my lifetime. I'm excited to go on this journey with you. There's so very much to discover. Thank you for entering this rabbit hole. You will be rewarded, trust me. 💜
Hi I've been army since 2015 and would like to say i enjoyed your reaction to our guys. This journey is gonna be rollercoaster for y'all as you go down the rabbit hole💜
I think most of the stadium footage apart from Wembley was from concerts at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul, which has a distinctive gentle wave shaped top. There may also have been one in Japan (I think). They can sell out multiple 70,000 to 90,000 seat stadium shows in minutes, often before the tickets have a chance to go on general sale. The free concert they held in Busan last October had 50,000 in the stadium, another 10,000 to 20,000 watching on screens outside… and about 50 million watching live online (crashing the servers). Jungkook was actually 13 in international age when he signed with Big Hit, and 14 when he moved away from his family to live in the group dorm in Seoul. Koreans calculate age a bit differently (until very recently). RM was 16/17 when he was shown sitting and rapping, just after being signed as the first member in 2010.
As someone who used to dance, you don't necessarily remember the choreography, your body does. You practice over and over until the movements are automatic, so you can then concentrate on putting in emotions, finishing your movements all the way and details like that. You know how you tie your shoes without thinking about which particular movements you need to do? It's like that. If you need to think about which steps to take, you haven't practiced enough, basically. Also, if you're on stage and you start thinking about the movements, you're probably gonna screw up. You have to trust your body to go from move to move smoothly on it's own.
They are simply the most respectful and humble humans you will ever come across. They have never let their success get to them. And always continue to improve and better their craft! They connect with their fans so much with live link and build a friendship with them. Most successful band in this world and still most humble! True example to many people in todays world
BTS Army are constantly online supporting the members all day and night. Posting tweets of memories or messages of support. Also using Weverse too. It is the best fan base ever. And more like a family. Xx
3 minutes into this video & im tearing up 😭 i have seen so many people react to this guide and i cry every time, im just so happy for them and so proud 😭
They have been together for 10 years as of now and their music actually gives comfort to the army and they taught me how to love my self and currently they doing solo projects and . Out of the seven members two are doing military service - JIN and Jhope as its compulsory in korea to do military when a man turns 28 years. You should listen to the solo projects of jhope - mix tape ; jack in the box , suga- mix tapes and a physical ablum called D- Day as well astrount by Jin which his single a collabration with COLDPLAY. Jimin - FACE album as well as junkooks new single - SEVEN and jimin also sung song new fast and furious 10 called ANGLE part 1 ,2 . RM has aslo mixtapes and album caled Indigo which amazing. Should check out these stuff.

Run BTS episodes are hilarious and gives you even more insight into who they are as people. I think it was really interesting how they dealt with arguments and why after 10 years unlike most bands they are all together. Even though they cannot perform as a group because as they age up they have to go do their military training. They still all talk about when they can all perform together.. now their solo projects that they have to fill in until then are just as successful. Wracking up billions rather than millions of views
They usually cuss in their solo projects, RM and Suga, the rest started doing since starting their solo stuff because of the enlisment (kpop industry is very "innocent", no swearing, smoking, tattoos, etc). If you such thing, it's usually against the "Rules", and they do it a lot. Suga smokes in one of his videos, all the rappers cuss in their songs, most of them have Tattos, JK has a full sleeve
They're literally the FACE of the South Korea in the world, and it's actually the most big group of this decade. They have 5 Grammy nominations.

The Korean President got rid of the Korean age system in the beginning of 2023 , so they go by the year are born now.
@@marydavis5234 Yes, since last month. But in this video it notes that JK was 15, he was actually 13 in international age when he signed as a trainee
to put it in perspective, they were all teenagers when they signed with BH. in international age: RM, 2010 at age 16, Suga, 2010, Age 17, J-Hope, 2010 age 17, Jin, 2011, age 19, JK, 2011 at age 13, V, 2011 at age 15, Jimin, 2012 at age 16

Don't be to hard on yourself. There is hundreds of content to learn them. You guys are great, I will join you on your journey.
You are awsome!! I hope you live healthy and happy!!
Yes who is your bias mine is RM FOREVER❤❤❤
@@itz_blinkyyy back in 2014-2015 my bias changed a lot. Then most of the years was Taehyung. Now for the past few years I realized it's really TaeGiKook.

10+ years>>
Counting from before they debuted, if for how many years they have been a group it means 10 years ❤
17:48 they only use curse words mainly in their solo work especially the rap line (Rm, Suga and J hope) but in BTS songs as a group you will hardly hear any cursing 😅
they also use curse words in their group songs a lot, but they are mostly in korean .....
all their group albums have at least 1 song with curse words/harsh language (korean, english or both)
@@taequilasilver7183 yepp true I mean mainly in their solos do they tend to go more wilder 😂
To put their succes a little into perspective:
- When they gave four concerts over two weekends in Las Vegas in 2021 the entire city was bathed in purple lights and dubbed Borahaegas, restaurants and hotels had BTS themed rooms and menus and there were BTS exhibits, pop-up shops and fountain shows all over the city.
💜
^ this!💜
And for the 10th anniversary BTS weren't even there physically... only RM made an appearance for a short duration.
@@ruthfischer7615 yess😊😊
"Nevermind" and "Outro: Wings" are regular BTS songs and hold cursing.
@@WellNo-jm3fw
bby gang mag has a video essay called "you are wrong about K-pop" which holds some of your sentiment.
I think Seventeen is even more self-produced than BTS but I have no idea about their lyric subjects. (their label PLEDIS wasn't actually one of the better labels but now that they are under HYBE and older - IDK)
Mind you from oberservation many groups are still not part of the creation process or can choose their music direction. I have no idea how that works with new artists in the West in e.g. Pop - so I can't compare that either.
You nice! Keep going!
@@WellNo-jm3fw Everyone will not express the same. THIS is about BTS. Not other K-Pop groups.

I learned something new yesterday when I watched JungKook on Suga’s show, Suchwita.
They do curse some, especially in their solo songs.
I love Jin. :)
I think I wrote it above, but JK didn’t sing, dance or rap either in the beginning.
Actually JK is #1 on Billboard at this moment (and on Spotify for 16 days ! )
Jimin was #1 some weeks ago 😁
And quick note: the won 700 award was last year may update so recently it has exceeded 1000+ awards now they even won TMA award just yesterday
Fun fact: they even win awards even when there apart...
Here is the list of oldest to youngest
Jin, Suga, J-Hope. RM, Jimin, V (Taehyung), JK (Jungkook)
In the pic you tried to name them, Starting with
V (Taehyung) - brown suit, Suga - white suit, Jin - tan suit, JK (Jungkook) - blue suit, RM - brown suit, Jimin - blue suit, J-Hope - white suit.
I wish you great success!! xx
💀💀💀 does he support russia?
@@ssein9065so now all Russians are bad because of one as**e? You can like artists and not support Putin for f**k sake🤦
@@ssein9065 he never talks abt politics
You definitely SOUND like ARMY to me. I’m still a baby ARMY myself, but I happily welcome you. 💜
Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. ....
Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee)
Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo)
Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11
JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8
RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13
Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo)
V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo)
JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo
Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age.
EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 27 (Korean Age 29). ... 2 years difference
So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.)
So he was considered 29 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 27 turning 28 in Dec.
💜Have a great day
Not quiet true. They got older with the LUNAR New Year which is a bit later.
I would love if y’all reacted to BTS live concerts and award show performances. I would recommend MAMA 2019 and BTS medley live in Japan!!!💜💜💜
BTS themselves don’t cuss but when they’re doing their solo work, they do whatever they want, as they should lol. They really are impressive
Welcome to the rabbit hole… Hi, I'm a 56 yr old ARMY who has been an ARMY b4 we had an official name. I discovered their RUclips Vlogs and followed them to their debut. I could feel their passion and I knew they were going to dominate everything they touched.
Loved your reaction and with that welcome to the family 💜
Thank you for reacting to BTS! They are definitely insanely talented as well as kind, humble and funny! You still need a little work identifying the members, lol. You only got 2/7 right. In The photo you showed from (l to r) V, Suga, Jin, JungKook, RM, Jimin and JHope. They are standing in what is referred to as “official order”. They always stand in this order for official photos, award shows or events. I am enjoying your reactions and look forward to more videos moving forward! Borahae! 💜
Going from left to right…
V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, JHope. As “baby” you both did well. A bit of advice, never try to identify them by hair color…because it changes quite often. Borahae 💜
They performed SOLD OUT shows in different stadiums around the world. 💜
Ya'll are great....you earned a new subscriber! I am 66 yr old ARMY grandma....nice to meet you. In order last photo....V=vocal crooner/never intended to try out......Suga aka AgustD=rapper/producer/introvert....... Jin=vocals aka worldwide handsome/oldest...... JungKook=vocals, dancer, center stage aka maknae=the youngest....... RM=leader and rapper....... Jimin= vocals/classically trained dancer, and....... JHope= rapper/award winning street dancer! It'll take awhile....when I started watching Kpop over 15 years ago, my first group had 15 members to learn....and like anyone from a ethnicity different than our own....they all looked alike at first :) Look forward to your journey! Borahae!
Rise of bangtan chapter 1 plssss
In this video you will learn more about them in their trainee days to legend days
jungkook actually started training at 13 , they debuted when he was 15.
So they don't really curse when they make music as a group but if you see their solo works they most likely do curse😅
Because they are being more honest and more free to be themselves in their music🤣🤣..which we all as fans love to hear💜💜💜
The first stadium was the Olympic stadium in Korea (for both of the first videos) but the last one was Wembley
Stumbled across your channel..57 yr old Army here. Watched these guys grown from teenagers into some of the most humble talented gifted artist and young men the world has to offer💜 The vlives are so much fun.. RM just comes and hangs out with us
Yoongi comes and usually gives us such uplifting words J-Hope usually dances for us Jin cooks and eats with us
JK takes song requests and gives us a mini show
V does so many different things
Jimin builds arts n crafts with us
RM is a lyrical genius, especially the way he uses wordplay even between languages, composers using different beats flows rhythms.. He's also the only one who does not have a driver's license
Yoongi is my bias and I love how he's so savage.. He seems like a very cold and distant person but he's very caring and loving
J-Hope is a phenomenal dancer and just recently headlined at Lollapalooza.. Hobi is the sunshine of the group
Jin was cast on the street getting off the bus that's true, it has happened twice to him... He did not sing or dance at all before he became a trainee..
Jungkook was only 13/14 when he joined as a trainee, he loves his brothers and Army so very much, loves to take risks, he's pitch perfect and talented in so many things. He's called the "golden maknae"because he's just good at everything he does🤷
V was hidden because the company feared he would be approached by other companies because of his striking good looks.V's voice is like a river of melted chocolate and his vocal range is amazing.
Not only did the Army sing young forever but they knew every word and sang it in Korean, a foreign language to most
BTS are all such good people and great artists too!! It's just impossible to not love them😭❤
The stadium you kept asking about. I think it’s MetLife stadium in the US.
But they sold out stadiums all across the world already years ago, before getting to their biggest hits (including Butter you heard), before releasing even 1 english single. They sold out 14 stadium dates in the US amid covid arising, they are one of very few artists in history who sold out Wembley Stadium - twice at that, stadiums in Latin America, Europe, Asia, even Saudi Arabia
they had a stadium tour, they played in a lot of stadiums
Nice reaction!
Photo is V, Suga, Jin, JK, RM, Jimin, J-Hope. You guys did a good job, though! It takes time. :)
Looking forward to seeing more of your BTS journey!
They have won more than 1000 awards now.. Thanks for the reaction 💜
I really enjoy your guys' reactions to BTS. Thanks for giving them a chance. 💜
Ah A guide to BTS members. Let me prepare myself with some tissues. I watched this so many times and I still cry whenever I watch this
They say they will never be another BTS because the universe absolutely snapped collecting the 7 of them in the same group. Rocket talented in everything super hardworking amazing humans, and that in a broke falling apart company atop of that.
I cannot be the only one who enjoys when people give genuinely good reactions, and do not pass out any unnecessary comments. 💜
Ohhhhhhhh, nice to meet ya! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
1:05 It's Jamsil Main Stadum, the biggest stadium in korea
I am 47 years old and I am Army of BTS. I love BTS so much 💜🥰😍😘😘
1:05 The stadium you kept mentioning is the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, Korea.😊
@10:30: Namjoon is me whenever I try to help my mom in the kitchen and she's looking at me concerned for my health. x')
Anyways, I’m gonna finish this video now 😂
Actually now all 7 sing and all 7 can rap!
@@WellNo-jm3fw beg to differ. He is not on the same level as the rap line, but he can rap: Tony Montana live with Suga: ruclips.net/video/ip6OEzTyS90/видео.html.
@@WellNo-jm3fw lol. Not sure how I misread your comment. 💜
17:36 lmao they do it even more now
Especially in theirs solo albums
Thank you for the reaction 💜

I missing them already 😭💜🫂 plzz comeback safely 💜🅐🅡🅜🅨⁷⟬⟭💜 waiting for u guyzz 💜🥺
Their music has deep meanings so we will recommend you to watch explanation videos
always love new reactions to bts and you guys were super entertaining and respectful!! (and so guys remembering their names already, i'm so impressed)
Glad you enjoyed. BTS has played at multiple massive stadiums around the world. Their concerts are sold out within minutes. 👍
Getting a ticket to their concert is like winning a whole lottery, its insane and sells out in just minutes
I watch them every day just for the smiles and of course love for their music. For me personally, I love their solo work and their earlier songs as my genre is R&B. However, I also love and appreciate each member for their own individual uniqueness.
Yaaaay I was waiting for this 😁
All the members have solo songs too. I will mention only few of each members' solos( The solos they released after debuting as soloists)
RM- Wild Flower, Still Life ( This is a b side)
Jin- The Astronaut
Suga- Haeguem, Amygdala(this is also a b side), People pt.2, Daechwita( This is released before he debuted as a soloists but this is a banger so i have to mention this too)
J Hope- More, On the Street, Arson, Chicken noodle soup ( this song also released before he debuted as a soloist, a banger like daechwita)
Jimin- Set me free pt.2, Like Crazy
Jungkook- Seven
V hasn't debuted as a soloists yet his album will be coming on end of August or early September. U guys can check out then. He has a deep, warm and a soulful voice.
OSTs of BTS and members
BTS- The Planet
V & Jin- It's definitely u ( V acted on the Tv series of this OST)
V- Christmas Tree, Sweet Night
Jin- Yours
Jungkook- Stay alive ( produced by Suga)
Jimin- Angel pt.1, Angel pt 2, Still with u
Suga -Lilith
Any of the members aren't on the Mvs of these OSTs( except in Stay Alive).
You guys are my new fav channel! I subbed and liked! Keep up the great content!!!
💜💜 Thank you for reacting to this. You will get to tell them apart soon enough we all go through it. Look forward to more BTS
True example to many people in todays world
Lol the latest song one of the members, Jungkook, just released says in the chorus “7 days a week I’ll be fcking you right” 😂😂😂
BTS Army are constantly online supporting the members all day and night. Posting tweets of memories or messages of support. Also using Weverse too. It is the best fan base ever. And more like a family. Xx

They have been together for 10 years as of now and their music actually gives comfort to the army and they taught me how to love my self and currently they doing solo projects and . Out of the seven members two are doing military service - JIN and Jhope as its compulsory in korea to do military when a man turns 28 years. You should listen to the solo
projects of jhope - mix tape ; jack in the box , suga- mix tapes and a physical ablum called D- Day as well astrount by Jin which his single a collabration with COLDPLAY.

BTS idol multitalented💜BTSARMY BORAHAE💜
They usually cuss in their solo projects, RM and Suga, the rest started doing since starting their solo stuff because of the enlisment (kpop industry is very "innocent", no swearing, smoking, tattoos, etc). If you such thing, it's usually against the "Rules", and they do it a lot. Suga smokes in one of his videos, all the rappers cuss in their songs, most of them have Tattos, JK has a full sleeve
BTS has performed in Arenas and stadiums all over the world💜
