would love a vlog as you go thru those classics! there’s a few books you mentioned in your TBR that i completely forgot about so i’ll have to sneak those into my fall reads bc i already made my list 😂 loved the vid! 💗
Frankenstein and Monstrillio are both such interesting books! I think reading one after the other could be fun-almost like they are in conversation with each other!
loved this video so much, and your whole channel! 💗 I want to read Frankenstein this fall too!! I had to read it for school many years ago but don’t remember a thing about it 😅
I’m a new subscriber and this is the first video I’m seeing so I’m sorry this is late but I just wanted to say I LOVE the sound of the rain in this video 🥰😍
I'm excited for you to get into the classics. I've read a few classics a year since my mid 20s, and now in my 31st year I decided to have a spring/summer classics readathon. Well, it was a huge success; I fell hard in love with the classics. I reread Wuthering Heights, Emma by Jane Austen, and now I am rereading Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf, so I wanted to chime in and say that classics seem to get even better on the second read. I hope you enjoy Frankenstein; it's another one I want to reread. I was surprised on first reading it by how deep it actually is!
this makes me feel so happy about journeying into the classics. i've always been somewhat intimidated by them (similarly to how people feel about reading poetry) but i'm trying to adapt the mindset of just going in and enjoying the classics as they are-without putting too much pressure on myself
I love pride and prejudice! It’s really also quite funny, hope you enjoy it! Just a little correction - Lizzie is the second oldest daughter (of 5) and it is their mother who wants to marry them all off when some new manly prospects (Mr Darcy included), come to town (their father is pretty chill) 😅 OG enemies to lovers
I am not done watching, but I want to challenge myself to read classics. Particularly classics from different cultures, I feel like it would be enriching for my mind.
The way I first tried reading wuthering heights at 14 bc it was Bella's favorite book 😭 I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who ended up associating it to twilight because of that lol Also I recommend Orlando by virginia woolf. I read it recently and I found it amazing
