  • I've always loved the styling of the new Harley-Davidson Lowrider S, and today I finally got to take one for a test ride! I have to say...it did NOT disappoint! Not only did the Lowrider not disappoint, but it had me thinking about it the entire ride home! Did I mention it even had a Stage 2 kit?...
    The 2021 Harley Lowrider S is the perfect combination of power, comfort, and styling. I've never had the urge to buy a Harley before, but this may have changed that!
    What do you think...could you see a Lowrider S being added to the channel?

    Went from a 2019 Rebel 500 to a 2018 HD Softail Slim 107 (1,745cc). My first test ride on the HD I looked like Wile E. Coyote strapped to an ACME rocket 😂

    Bought a new black '23 LRS with TBR exhaust and this bike is badass. Went to the store and came out and 3 people were staring at it, including one young good looking chick and she was salivating over it. Pull up on a Rebel and not much response. Great bikes , but instant respect on the HD. Very happy.

    I bought a 2021 LRS as my first Harley. I bought a Yamaha R3 as my first bike and sold it for almost what I bought it for a few months ago. The LRS is an absolute beast. I am so happy with my purchase.
    With upside down forks like sport bikes, the LRS handles surprisingly well. Obviously my first bike the R3 being so light, I was used to easy cornering. On my test ride before buying the bike, I couldn't believe it.
    Yes Harleys are expensive. I got a decent deal on mine around MSRP but it's still quite a bit of money. Something people don't talk about is insurance for Harleys. My 2021 LRS costs me $50 a month for full coverage.
    TLDR; The LRS as my first Harley has been an absolute blast. I am extremely happy with my choice.

      Just picked up a leftover ‘21 LRS, the FXLRS that is! Got a great deal on this bike! Traded in my iron 883 which was my first bike, and couldn’t be happier with it. Thought I might miss my small-ish Harley sportster but I really don’t. Maybe a little, but this bike is just light years beyond a sportster in every way and it kinda makes you forget all other bikes even exist, lol.

    I had a Sportster 1200, then a Dyna Twin Cam 103, then tried my cousins 20' Low Rider S. I thought that's what I wanted until the salesman suggested a bagger because I wanted to do longer trips. I ended up buying a Road King. Same M8, more comfy, cruise control, & destroys miles like fat kids destroy boxes of donuts.

    Dont lie to me, them rear brakes is underwhelming to say the least. I love the bike I own one but they could’ve given us CC and a better rear brake - again still love it and have currently modded it up beautifully 👍

    LOL I guess it's safe to say we have very similar tastes in bikes. I sat on that Low Rider S and It just fits me and I want it. I wish they offered test rides where I live but nope. Glad to see that the low rider S can eat bumps comfortably. I've ridden the rebel 500 and yea I ran over a bump and it felt like I got literally kicked in the ass lol.

  • @Chase_N
    @Chase_N 2 года назад

    Also, my cousin's about your size & tried a trip to my house on his 20' LRS. While it seemed comfy for about 45 minutes to an hour, he said it started to beat him up after that. It was only a 2 hour trip total. We swapped bikes & was impressed with the difference in comfort between our bikes. Mine is a stock RK 107 & his is the Stage 1 114, we both agreed the difference was negligible until you start really trying to rev them out & go full blown hooligan. He's now looking at baggers. Trust me, don't waste your time on the smaller HD's. The fit/finish/ride are so much better & you get the same engines.

    I test ride a 2021 used LRS with Forward Controls. I thought I will buy it coming in before the Test Ride. But I wasn't impressed for some reason. I thought the power of 114 will be very noticeable yet it was powerful and tamed. When I brought it home to show it to my wife and look at it again for myself, I wasnt very impressed (nor dissappointed). I have a 2020 Forty-Eight that I was planning to trade in for LRS but I cannot justify the change based on my riding impression on the LRS. Im not saying that I dislike the LRS but it just ddnt impressed me that much. If I had the chance to rewind time I will pick the LRS over the Forty-Eight. But to trade it in? It depends on the price of the LRS the dealer is willing to go at this point.
