    Nice clean up. I lick them Bernards up when ever I can. I've got quite a few know. One NOS from the 40's or so, really special!

    I like those pliers. I have two that came from my father in law. I heard that they were given in gun kits in WWll. And he was certified in several guns. So I wondered if they came from there. I had used them fishing and other things. But they need to be cleaned up for my son's Grandpa collection. Glad to see how you did it. Thanks

    Well done John! Gotta love the Bernards. “Cut no tempered steel” sounds like the 11th commandment. 😂

    Must be a great design if they're still making them today.

      From the initial appearance they did not seem as nice as they are.

    Your fishing story is horrifying.
    Good job on the pliers. I have a pair like that and it also is missing a nut. Do you think they all came that way? What are your thoughts on that?

    • @johnfix1
      @johnfix1  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for your comments Ben. I have seen others with both nuts but the nut coming off and getting lost may be a design fault..
