  • Week four of my Tongkat Ali experiment has brought some surprising and positive changes. In this video, I go into the continued muscle gains, improved mood and energy levels, and the unexpected but very welcome impact on my overall well-being. I also discuss the subsiding of previous side effects and some new observations.

    I forgot to say that there is a clear facial difference in my opinion from one video to the next on this journey for sure. Yes it could be the lighting but your eyes seem to have more ‘life in them’ for want of a better expression, in this video. I, like you, would definitely cycle. I really don’t think it’s meant to be one of those things that you stay on for 2yrs plus without a break….but each to their own. Thanks again for using yourself as a guinea pig, so to speak, for the general public👍

    Hi Matt been following your tongkat journey and I’m into day two on my own journey with the same product from the same company. Not sure how RUclips algorithms work but when I saw you pop up it was perfect timing. All sounds good for you so far so that’s given me some confidence. Off on hols next Saturday for a fortnight so that will defo impact my ability to weight train regularly but as always will go armed with my rings. Looking forward to seeing how week five goes for you. I only got myself a month supply, so if your report continues to be positive, I’ll likely top up😊

      Ah perfect! Let me know how it goes for you too, I'd love to know if you experience similar results and side effects to me. Fingers crossed you get the benefits you're seeking from it, I'm interested in seeing what some blood results say once my remaining supply is done. Could be something I cycle on and off of as for me, it's night and day.
      A month was long enough for me to notice real benefits so I'm hopeful for you. :)

    With regards to odor, it has a lot to do with the food you are eating.
    In general, I see it when you add less spices sauces to the food and increase vegetable and fruit consumption, the body odor goes more to neutral.

    Side effects of Tongkat for me has been needing to eat and thirst more as well as slight pain on my knees. I counteracted the pain with small portion of horny goat weed with ginger and that works perfectly. Benefits i experience is feeling good, motivation to do work and better sleep.

      Ah cool! I have to admit I've had a little of what feels like tendinitis or something in my elbows, I put it down to simply extra load and reps in training. Perhaps I should try some ginger too if you felt that helped?

    Not intending to bombard you, but just wondered if you found that any niggling pains that you may have had prior to taking TA, have gone away? Also have you noticed any size difference in your testes? (Sorry I know that personal)…..and last but not least have you not any change in your body composition at all? More muscularity for example. You don’t have to answer here if you don’t want to but maybe something to report in your next video? Cheers!!

      @weetabix2 I do think I've leaned out a little, and my muscles seem a bit "fuller". However, given my general mood and desire to train have been better, it could simply be that I've gotten that from more focused training? Hard to say, likely a bit of both I'd imagine.
      I've not noticed any change in size of testes (yet).
      In terms of niggles, I actually 100% have and I cannot believe I've not mentioned it yet! My right hamstring has had issues for a couple of months now, I think I'd gotten so used to it being there that I'd learned to ignore it but I've just done some stretches to see if the pain is still there and it isn't! I shall definitely have to test that some more and update in the next video!

      @speedy7007 my blood test was through my GP initially yes, though I think I'll get a more comprehensive test done privately next
