    Nice!!! I just planted my jujube yesterday. I got Shanxi Li, Honey Jar, and Sugar Cane. I also have one unknown variety I got when it was about 1 foot high two years ago and now starts to flower. Unfortunately, all my jujube inground don't get all day full sun. They only get direct sun from around 11:30 to around 4 to 4:30 pm because of neighbor's big pine trees shading up from East and West side of my property.

    What type gives the highest production and what is the best type, according to your personal opinion? I want you to nominate one type for me.

    Thank you! I have not seen any pollinators on my sugar cane. GA866 is just setting flower buds when my Sugarcane has been flowering for two weeks already. Zone 7B Central VA

      As weather warm up you should see some and they also suppose to be pollinate by wind as well. I was worried my first year as well.

    How do you feel about the Honey Jar Jujube? I’m in Texas and was thinking of putting it in a container if I get one. I prefer the crispy texture over the sweetness.

      Honey is sweet and productive, I like it very much but the size is small I was looking for large fruit.

      @ I realized how tiny they are and am rethinking as well.

    How do you control your tree from roots invasive damaging your sidewalk and landscape. Root spread 35 ft into my house. I try pruning it but roots still invasive. You are right regarding order ga-866 and not getting the right one, they mislable the tree hard to dispute and waiting for the right one. Can i buy your ga-866 seeds?

    • @ItsJustGardening
      @ItsJustGardening  Год назад

      I dig up the root where the suckers popping up. But mine haven’t been that invasive. I don’t have ga-866 seeds yet since I just got the tree hopefully next few year.
