    It's Just Gardening.
Gardening is simple, just plant it and let it grow. Gardening in the DMV area, District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
I live in suburban Northern Virginia Zone 7a. I converted my front and back yard into a garden food forest, hoping to have all year-round produce.

Congrats on this accomplishment! For whatever it’s worth, I live in probably one of the warmest neighborhoods in downtown Washington, DC. I planted a “hardy” passionflower in the ground in our backyard garden Feb 17, two days after our last freeze of the winter. Come to find out during the first flower blooms that it was actually Passiflora Alata, that produces the sweet tropical Passionfruit. After a brutally hot and humid summer, just getting the flowers to bloom the first year was rewarding, but I’m now seeing fruit starting to grow! I cannot believe it. Feels really rewarding. Glad to see others successful with tropical in the DMV region.

Also try using a paint brush for the pollen 😊

I bought on ebay, but zone 9 shouldn’t have any issue with passion fruits.
