1) for the Kurig, what I do is I pull mine forward to the edge of the cupboard, take out a drawer, and put my cup in the drawer under the kurig. It usually gets me another 5-6 inches depending on the depth! 2) for cutting mats, ikea has some for super cheap! I bought them when I moved away to school!

It could be anything from "regular" art like drawing, something crafty like jewelry making, something different like interior design, to even things we dont necessarily think of as typical art like creative writing or fashion. So even if you're not crafty I bet there's a way out there that you would like to express yourself!
