I love how the batmobile is full of over the top, but still reluctantly grounded tech, and then an experiment quantum afterburner, just to sound cool XD
Lets be real, Batman is not Batman whitout Batmobile, that is one of the main aspects of Batman in general! I cant decide wich Bmobile is best for me, but my favorite will always be Michael Keatons from the first Batman! Jake, another great video!
As much as they put too much of it in Arkham Knight, I did like driving round Gotham in the Batmobile. Will never forget the 'evening the odds' moment the first time I played the game! 😎👍
They’re being really conservative with the 1200 horsepower figure . You can buy a piston crate engine from Chevy now that makes 1000hp for $.37,000. And you probably want way more than 1000 horses if you want a vehicle that’s proof against even all possible small arms rounds to also out-run everything. Given the armor requirement I’d also expect the Batmobile to probably be a six or eight wheeled vehicle just to have enough tires and suspension for the weight and power. I’d expect active aero and maybe even a sucking downforce fan, ala Jim Hall’s Chapparal 2J. Active aero and fans are banned in all motorsports, so we’ve never really seen their potential on track. But such devices could easily allow cars to pull turns at more lateral Gs than humans can stand, ie Batman could lose all conventional pursuers at the first corner.
My favorite batmobile is from the 1989 batman film, the second one is from the arkham knight game, and the third is from the batman film (2022) 1969 dodge Charger.
The Animated series Batmobile will always be my favourite version, I love the design so much. I feel it could exist if someone with Bruce Wayne's level of money wanted to build one.
yo i just found this channel and the concept is awesome and there is already a masive amount of work put into these videos even with a somewhat small subscriber base. easy sub. also you should do a batplane and bat-computer video as well, i’d be cool
Do you really have to ask if you should do a video on the Batmobile variants? And yes certain variants of the Car are possible. The biggest barrier is probably speed performance with that much armor.
Great video recently just discovered your channel and so far loving the content i have a suggestion for a video have you heard of batman automobilia basically it was a magazine and model collection talking about batman's 75 year history and went in depth of the bat vehicles from movies, games, comics ,tv (back when it was his 75 year anniversary) again keep up the good work
Batcave, thank you so much for this new video on The Batmobile. I found it to be very interesting and informational. I have to say that the information from that official Batman book is great and finding out that Batman has a special wind tunnel in The Batcave is just so cool. Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks again for this video. Looking forward to more Batman related videos from you in the future. Suggestions for future videos... A video talking about the GCPD A video on The different teams that Batman has been on What is Batman's role in The Trinity? P.S: always wanted you to know that I finally got a copy of Chip Zdarsky's Batman: The Knight.
definitely do a separate video on the diff..batmobiles/ tank....including the live action ones...and that robot t-rex from when Bruce temporarily uploaded his mind into.
I love how they specify that the car has a valvetrain exhaust as if that isn't a common feature in regular cars. Not to mention that a jet turbine doesn't have the same anatomical set up to allow for a valvetrain exhaust flow. The exhaust is directly downstream from the intake. Not to mention jet turbines are super underpreforming at low revs and you get a snail tank until the turbine properly spools without an additional powersource. I understand the writers probably know little about this kind of engineering but c'mon guys.
i absolutely don't care what that guide book says... through the use of the afterburner most, not all, but most Batmobiles exceed 300 MPH...see where generic information fails. it only gives top speed of the drive train, and not total top speed of the car with afterburners. as for cost. Forbes ran the number years ago. to be Batman costs 700 million Dollars any given year. 300 million to build the armored suit, plus gadgets and weapons he uses... 400 million for the advanced, specialized tactical vehicle. the Batmobile. that's what it would cost to be the Batman.
It would make more sense (in a completely fictional vehicle review) if you would concentrate on one Batmobile design at a time. All of the features you're describing wouldn't work in every one of them. I understand it's all fictional but it would be good not to stray too far from actual engineering design to make it more believable.

Thanks mate! I think visually, the Ben Affleck one looks the coolest 😎

The Batmobile is a fierce force to be reckoned with. The Batman was one of the best Batman films ever! Can't wait till it comes out on Bluray! 😃

I would love seeing a video of the Batmobile thru the ages. Thank you for doing these videos!!
Glad you're enjoying them 😊
Great breakdown as always! I would dig a batmobile series, maybe covering each car or era of car, however it would work best for you. Great channel
Video of different Batmobiles, yes please. My favorite is from BTAS
I really liked the idea of the batmobile having a holding area in the back like the one in Arkham Knight
Hello just wondering what comics was those pictures from?
You should definitely do a video on all of the different Batmobiles!
I really love this channel, you're like Star Wars Theory but Batman
Thanks for the breakdown of the batmoblie. Much ❤

A video talking about the GCPD
A video on The different teams that Batman has been on
What is Batman's role in The Trinity?
P.S: always wanted you to know that I finally got a copy of Chip Zdarsky's Batman: The Knight.
I would definitely love to see a video looking at various batmobiles, including the batmobile from arkham knight. that thing was a beast lmao
Yess been waiting for a video like this
😁
You should do a all batmobile designs video as long as you show BOTH the batman 2004 cartoon batmobiles.
Maybe I'm overlooking it, but I'm surprised you haven't done one of these videos on the bat cave! :)
definitely do a separate video on the diff..batmobiles/ tank....including the live action ones...and that robot t-rex from when Bruce temporarily uploaded his mind into.
Pls Make a video about every single batmobile ever
If we are working with current technology and mechanics most of not all could be built today yes.
Love u brother, love from India 🇮🇳
🙏🦇
Surprise you did not use the crossover with the turtles LOL

Hey. Why are you in my Batcave, I hope you're not breaking things!
My favorite is still the Arkhammobile

What about its anti theft system? If you're going to fight criminals (especially ones as smart as the riddler) you'll definitely need it
Sounds like Batman and iron ma must be Elon tusk lolll
The animated series is my favorite followed by Batman & Robins version.
