Blue Kunt You can say that again. I’d specifically spend a day playing through then restarting when I got to the end of the mission just to hear the music, then moving on when I wanted to progress.
No wonder this sound never sounded right to me on RUclips playlists, its because I was so used to the DS version, and the other versions sound different, but I never realized the DS version was different
I didn't even know that the DS version existed, and I was always annoyed that this never quite sounded right when I found it. I'm so so glad I finally found this again. This song was probably my favorite part of that game.
AstralGhazt YT I don’t know what’s more legendary: this song being used and immortalized in a very “true final battle” kind of setting, the fact Gatling Pea joined the Air Force, or that Dr. Zomboss made his motherfucking mech fly.
Cooper 123 It’s got a very compressed audio sound. Also, one thing I’ve noticed as I got older: When you go back and listen to the game music you remember listening to in earlier years (especially on systems such as the DS, the N64, or the PSP), you start to hear the quality change of music from that game to the more modern game/game systems.
Every version of PvZ had something special. PC was the classic, DS had exclusive mini games and the touch screen controls, Xbox 360 version had the multiplayer modes (sure, DS also had multiplayer, but I found the Xbox 360 version’s multiplayer to be more fun and easier to access in general) and we also got to see zoomed out versions of the maps, and for the mobile version? *ADS* But the mobile version’s level select menu is pretty cool.
the ds also had multiplayer like the home consoles version, but you need 2 of the handhelds to do it, unlike the home console you just need an extra controller, I remember playing multiplayer with my cousin kept losing since he was pretty good.
I found an old cart of this game at a friends house back in 2012. It was my intro to the series and even though they lost the cart, i was thinking of ordering one off amazon just to play the best port again
My ringtone. I always look for more chiptuney or bitcrushed versions of songs to use as a ringtone. They feel more ringtoneish to me. This one works especially great.
I think on the mobile app version of this game, there was no song for the Ultimate Battle in the fog or in the storm, because of the sounds from the storm would be drowned out by the music
I remember how excited id get everytime id get to these levels
Blue Kunt You can say that again. I’d specifically spend a day playing through then restarting when I got to the end of the mission just to hear the music, then moving on when I wanted to progress.

I like the synths on this one
guess im not the only one whos like this almost a decade later
It's the best version. God, I love it.
this is the definitive version of plants vs zombies and its probably the most obscure version
I’d like to to disagree, I knew who had got it, and that’s why I got it when I was a young bab.
I had it
My first DS game, actually.
I have major nostalgia for it, actually.
My favorite DS game, tied with NSMB and Rhythm Heaven.
I like how this version sounds more like an arcade game
yeah
More like an N64, not that it hinders it.
I didn't even know that the DS version existed, and I was always annoyed that this never quite sounded right when I found it. I'm so so glad I finally found this again. This song was probably my favorite part of that game.
they adapted the game really well by making it seem retro.
This theme sounds better than. Brainiack maniac untill brainiack maniac hits u at 1:03
This song goes hard
I’m the other way around where I never knew that the mobile version existed and I grew up with the DS version
@Cap'n Cookie oh I grew up with the DS version, that's the one I played, I just never knew it had a different soundtrack
it is so funny that the DS version is always overlooked despite it having more content than the original
1:17 legit best part for an outro

Not the same one tho
On pc it's a minigame full of balloons
Edit: also cancelled mini game
@@ItsMeVip you got the boring one
Literally the only game I played for hours as a child, this is a banger
This kind of sounds more retro
Well, it's the DS were talking about, not very far from the retro era.
DS is a shift between Pixel and 3D era for Nintendo handhelds

Best ost, no ads, bonus minigames, aside from the framerate dipping all the time, this is the definitive PVZ experience. Highly recommend.
0:16 idk if you’d call this synth good
@@LegacyAccount-y6 its fine, it makes it stick out more, the final version's sounds mitigated compared to the ds version.
What about the old 2009 pc version? High frame rate, no ads, bonus minigames, and it’s the original before the console ports.
