American here, but I have a lot of respect for the UK and entire EU. ❤❤❤ Queen Elizabeth was a wonderful woman, I sure do miss her.

Don't we all. (Just as an aside, neither the UK nor Australia are in the EU)

Do you remember any other stations that used to closedown with this film? I know ATV-0/10 Melbourne used to closedown with this film from 0:49.
Did ATN-7 Sydney in the 1970's used the first GSTQ film after playing "My City of Sydney" and a cartoon of a kangaroo putting her joey to bed made out of the ATN-7 logo?

I agree! The (Royal) Australian navy changed their naval ensign in 1967 to avoid any confusion with British vessels; the UK was not involved in the Vietnam War and the British Admiralty were concerned that British warships may come under attack.

The Chopper is a Wessex 31B, made in the 60's and used by the Australian Navy into the 80's.

I believe this may have been used in Britain. None of the flags are Australian.

Plus that’s the Sir William Dargie wattle portrait of ER2. The ultimate Australian portrait of Her late Majesty.
