@@hansvonschlader8227 I guess 'we' is everyone who is subscribed to Ismo and got notified and watched his other longer clip with this joke in it, last week. "American Driver Licenses are funny" - Ismo @ Bing Crosby Theater
If you are "we" then who the hell i am? I just came back to this after half a Koskenkorva and i forgot the first part and now because of you and Koskenkorva i forgot both
@@michaelgoble8200 Yes of course ! But I know well the "French level in English", being French, and "pilot" in French is the word used to talk about the driver of a car AND of a plane! We never say "pilot" for a driver of a car (one exception: F1) PS: I never said Ismo was French
Finally a new Ismo joke! I haven’t heard this one yet! Also, I thought all driver’s licenses are good for boarding a plane. I never had to check a box for that when I got my driver’s license.
ABSOLUTELY brilliant. Bureaucracy is bullocks everywhere, but american bureaucracy make some indegenious spins. (Like the form travellers to enter the US have to answer: "Do you plan to apply in any form of espionage or sabotage while in the US?")
I would enjoy asking those responsible for making that form, and for adding that question in particular, if anyone ever has answered "Yes" to that question. Seems like you would need to be lower in IQ than those who thought it was useful to have that question as part of the form. (I can easily imagine that someone does it just for laughs, but it is still not useful.)
Indeed. Why make the questions easy to understand and properly descriptive of what they actually mean, if you instead can just make someone think that they get to fly a plane... 🤣🤣
I always decline the RealID driver's license. If I need to travel by air, I'll take my passport. No need to give big gov't any more information than they already have.
Lol. You’re either dumb or you’re old. Your logic made sense 1993. But since around then it’s better to tell them everything unless you’re a criminal. Get precleared for as much as you can. Basically be prejudged by the government to not be stopped. It only benefits you. They have all the info and so much more anyway, you’re just letting them check it faster. It’s the same for them and a benefit for you. Of course, you don’t really leave the country ever anyway, admit it.
Can someone explain american ID cards and identification? I start to understand there are differences from where Im from, especially in relations to voting. Why do some say that forced identification would hurt some voters and areas? Any takers in helping me understand?
Some argue that requiring ID for voting may disproportionately impact certain demographics, such as minority groups or low-income individuals, who might face challenges obtaining identification. They claim that this could potentially lead to voter disenfranchisement. On the other hand, proponents of voter ID requirements often argue that it helps ensure the integrity of the electoral process by preventing fraud.
@@SteveYoung1 I see! Is anybody advocating for state funded and organized issuingbof ID:s for their residents? Seems like a solution if the intention is to better the voting security and not to hinder and create obstacles for voters from voting
The majority of the people in the US seem to be afraid that the government would start to track them if they had official IDs. Yet somehow they believe that government cannot track who has already voted to avoid double voting in elections, or that you cannot be tracked by your passport, drivers license, sim number or bank account
His humour is genuine belly shaking laughter! 😂
We all already knew the joke, but still enjoyed it 🙂
Who is "we"? I didn't get it until he explained it. It must be an American thing I guess?

There r 2 different kinda IDs here, but only with one of them you can check in at the airports!
@@hansvonschlader8227 same
See, I wouldn't even think of planes. I'd assume they can give me the ability to fly, and hell yes I do want it
just like san andreas taught us!
Genius.
Hahaha it looks like a French misunderstanding English, love it
French? Ismo is from Finland.

And answering _yes_ does not necessarily mean you'll be denied entry 😁

Awesome 😂😂
Yes, only in America do they ask that, ha-ha!
Not sure if sarcasm, but you're going to need a passport to fly in pretty much everywhere.
A random ass drivers license isn't going to cut it.
@@AmtumanYou don’t need a passport for a domestic flight within the country. It’s not you’re leaving to another country.
Of course, anything they can take an extra fee for 🫠
I thought it was just Red Bull, now it's driver's licenses too?? What's the world coming to?? 🥺🥺😋😋
Red Bull just gives you penguin wings, it won't actually make you fly.
I once wanted to listen to some Beastie Boys, so I got my license to ill.

there watching them big planes anyway
@@dkgambitukWhy do they ask then?
Don't they already have the information you don't want to give them by the sheer fact that YOU OWN A PASSPORT? 🫠
