I'm with Dunoni who made a comment that this was a brilliant episode and the scene at around 20mins is very powerful and again great writing and acting on this show!!! Deffo in my top 5 episodes!!!!
Parley Baer was always so good in these shows and SO different from the Chester character in Gunsmoke. And the inimitable Howard McNear was also great here.
There's another Gunsmoke regular from both radio and TV at the end-James Nusser. He played various roles on radio and the town drunk, Louie Pheeters on TV.
One of the best episodes of "Suspense" that I have ever listened to.

I confirmed from the end of the story that the man with the gun on the bus is Howard McNear who played Floyd on The Andy Griffith show.
