I saw this on medical detectives. While she was speaking to the 911 operator. She was asked where she is at and she said she was crouching in her living room. However She was walking around from the living room to the passage. Forensics picked up the background sound and realised that during her conversation with 911 at times she was clear and at other times her voice was dense. End result one room had a carpet and the other was tiles. Giving off different voice levels.
Why do they give people death sentence if they let them spend 30 years alive and being taken care of by the state ? She looks healthy and beautiful ,and has make up and a nice hair style . Death sentence is a joke in America .
I remember thinking she was guilty until after the trial. The amount of information left out of the states case is damming. Darlie's wounds were not superficial, the bruises on her arms were obviously defensive injuries(not shown in court), the silly string wasn't her purchase or idea, they never showed the hours of her crying at the graves(just the 2mins), and so much more. I strongly believe this case deserves a retrial on the basis of excluded evidence alone.
The bruises on her arm could be the result of the internal bleeding from the neck would. Severed tissue inside the body can cause blood to flow and pool causing bruising that is not in close proximity the visible exterior wound.
@honkeykong9563 your description sounds like lividity...that occurs after death. The substantial bruises on each arm and where they're located doesn't match. I did just go to look at the pictures to double check.
I'm definitely not talking about lividity. However, reviewing the facts do confirm her cuts just weren't that deep and probably couldn't cause any significant internal bleeding. The bruising on Darlie's arm did not appear at any time during her 2 and a half day stay at the hospital. May I assume that her defense argues that the bruising was from a struggle?
@@honkeykong9563 Yes defensive wounds are different from self inflicted or mutual combat. As for the timing of bruises her and a bruise will darken in the first 48-72hrs (like the saying it's going to look worse before it looks better). My point is the jury never knew any bruises existed. It was a few years after the trial conflicting facts were released. Darlie should have the right to a fair trial with all of the evidence, the defense was blocked over and over in pretrial hearings.

I don’t understand how someone remains on death row for so many years. I am pretty sure all appeals have run their course - why does the government keep spending so much to keep these people (if you want to call them that) alive for so long?
There was a change in the law after 2005 that allowed her DNA testing that she was previously denied, which moved her appeals back to the State level. Her lawyers have managed to use that to stall for almost a decade

Don’t ever let this lying murderer out of prison
I saw this on medical detectives. While she was speaking to the 911 operator. She was asked where she is at and she said she was crouching in her living room. However She was walking around from the living room to the passage. Forensics picked up the background sound and realised that during her conversation with 911 at times she was clear and at other times her voice was dense.
End result one room had a carpet and the other was tiles. Giving off different voice levels.
I wonder how she feels about being on Death Row knowing it’s All About To Be Over
I lived in the same neighborhood at this time. I was about 6 or 7. It was so sad I’ll never forget!
I remember crying about this, mother's across America were heart broken, please never let her out.prayers to the dad.
I was locked up on Mountain view Prison I'm Not Lying!;!!;; I Had A 50ear sentence and made my first parole.
@@722cupcakes and? That has nothing to do with her guilt or innocence
They both should be in jail
Why? The person who did it is on death row, all the evidence points to her and when will be her execution date , almost 30 yrs ago
At 80 I remember this case. .gaunts to this day. It was unusual violent case for the times....today this has become common. What a cesspool ofa
But Susan Smith is up for parole. They should both be gone already through the death penalty. Tax dollars are paying for everything for these Momsters
She had her tenses wrong on the 911 call.
Why do they give people death sentence if they let them spend 30 years alive and being taken care of by the state ? She looks healthy and beautiful ,and has make up and a nice hair style . Death sentence is a joke in America .
So she doesn’t wake her husband?
There was a video of her interrogation and the detective said Darla said 5 times “If I did it I don’t remember”. I think she did it and block it out
No video or audio was made. Equipment failed.
They didn’t record it. She denies it
She killed her boys fir life insurance money 😢😢😢😢
@@722cupcakes I don’t know if she killed them or not but the insurance was $5000.00 for each boy and the burial was $12,000.00 🤷♀️
@@dianawright8334 she's evil😢
She’s away in cuffs and looks like she just returned from the salon.
The conflict of interest with Darrin’s and Darlie Keyes ( her Mother) is enough for me to know she deserved a new trial. She had a bad old Judge
Wow, I can't believe it's been that long since this happened! Time flies
Season 4, Episode 1 of ‘Forensic Files’ goes into more detail in just the right amount of time (approximately 22 minutes). I recommend it.
I agree and everything Patty Springer wrote in her book 📕 (Flesh and Blood 🩸) is the real story behind the entire household (before the murders).
Yes... I saw that episode.
I remember this so well. I was living in Dallas at the time - I thought this was going to say that she was finally going to be put to death but NOPE. It’s time, Texas!
The window screen was cut from the inside with one of her kitchen knives.
It was cut from the outside , not inside . Testimony in transcripts
A knife in the knife block on
the kitchen counter had residue from the window screen on it
@maxpinson5002 only microscopically similar , the expert wanted further testing . The hair in the screen was also microscopically similar but further testing proved it wasn't Darlies.
Thank u

Guilty 😩
Darlie is guilty as sin 💯
I remember this.... WOW 30 YEARS ALREADY???
Her appeals for new forensic testing drags on for Decades
@@Kathy-l6r you’d do the same, wouldn’t you? Anyone who says they’re innocent would use any avenue available to be freed
It's all been tested. It's false that it hasn't.
I still remember her trial. They said she was too self obsessed to stab herself in a visible place
I’m sorry but unlike most of this comment section, I’m not convinced she’s guilty. Her trial was a joke. Her husband is suspicious. Her lawyer is suspicious. And she didn’t just have a superficial wound. She was in the hospital for like a week or two.
Somebody explain the sock down the street. There’s no way she would have had time to stage that.
I agree. There is evidence that she did it but there is also a lot wrong with the investigation and trial.
She sprayed silly string , whilst chewing that gum on the memorial
I'm sorry I'm not convinced she did it too much just doesn't make sense she might be a true blonde acting the way she does but still not enough evidence and not showing emotion please some people grieve in their own way still doesn't make them guilty in case u have 100 percent concrete evidence
@@lucky7mojo - They had a somber service before the bday celebration with the silly string. It wasn't shown as widely.
@@lucky7mojo she was also on loads of happy pills!
Oh, I see. She did not receive a death penalty. She received an eventual death penalty.
In the first beginning that she called 911 and tell yhat her boys stabbed.they know already who did it.
I don't understand why their baby books and mementos were left behind in the attic of that house. I would be so broken over that but of course they would still be alive if they were my children. Those poor sweet boys. God bless.
I remember this when it happened, it was horrific and devastating. She deserves to never be released and think about what she did to those two babies. Monster!
She had a small baby at the time, so it sounds like postpartum depression if there was no other motive. Pregnancy makes some women insane.
@@Christophertracy09 Drake the third child was 8 months old when Darlie killed the two boys
@@cindyshaundid they ever say why they think she did this? Just curious…I remember this when it happened and thinking her behavior at the graves was really disturbing…
I remember watching an episode about this on Unsolved Mysteries in the 90s.
Way too long on DR, imo.
I remember. I always thought she was guilty. Never understood Darren’s role , but I think he knew. I have seen the house. It stands out in that neighborhood. The silly string did her in . Bless those babies 🙏🏼
And she won't admit it, ever!!!!!!!!! I think she has convinced herself she is innocent! Also the birthday silly string celebration at their grave site, where she is laughing and smiling, is very odd.
For Texas, isn’t 30 years on death row very rare?
What are the odds on the day you decide sleep downstairs with your kids an intruder comes in, also she's never ever once asked the police to go out there and find rhe real killer, that would be something id be screaming at every chance i get an interview
Genuine question....why do people sentenced to death in the USA stay on death row for so long? Is it for "just in case" new evidence is found?
Because today's America is run by sissies.
Appeals. She still has one left and they allow endless extensions.
@lisawarner5337 thank you for that.
