      And should just be done away with. To speed it up with the sheer number of cases coming through every year would put a lot of innocent people in danger of being convicted due to the removal of the safeguards put in place by the appeals system. The appeals process itself isn't the problem, it hasn't changed a whole great deal but the number of people being sent to death row keeps growing and so as a result the process takes longer and longer. Bundy was on death row for 11 years and people yelled about that, but in the 60's the average time was 4-6 years. When you have more people going through the same process (the appeals), it will take longer.

      Compared to the childrens her wound can be described as superficial, I mean, those boys were stabbed so forcefully the knife virtually penetrated one of the little boys body through to the carpet he was laying on, Darlie said that as she was laying on the sofa she opened her eyes to see a stranger walking away, why didn't the ' intruder' attack Darlie in the same violant manner as the boys had been? instead of the wound to the neck, makes no sense, her neck wound also had what the doctors described as hesitation marks and scratches around the main wound, Darlie is exactly where she belongs.

I was 5 when this happened. I asked my parents if they’ve heard about the case and they said, “Of course! We drove by the house many times when you and your brother were kids!” I must have forgotten.

    I remember thinking she was guilty until after the trial. The amount of information left out of the states case is damming. Darlie's wounds were not superficial, the bruises on her arms were obviously defensive injuries(not shown in court), the silly string wasn't her purchase or idea, they never showed the hours of her crying at the graves(just the 2mins), and so much more. I strongly believe this case deserves a retrial on the basis of excluded evidence alone.

      @honkeykong9563 3 месяца назад +4

      I'm definitely not talking about lividity. However, reviewing the facts do confirm her cuts just weren't that deep and probably couldn't cause any significant internal bleeding.
