- In this weeks video, we build and review the Lepin "Technician" Porsche 911 GT3 RS kit, part number 20001. How does this compare to the LEGO Technic 42056 kit? Is it a complete ripoff? Junk? Smaller? Find out now!

I also got the Lepin kit, about 3.5 years ago now. Mine also came in a Lepin box that replicates the lego box, very cool.
Truly outstanding presentation, build, and overall assessment of this kit. Helped me decide to order one, especially that it is far cheaper than the ridiculous price that Lego wants for it. I really appreciate this coming from a real car guy and not some hyperactive kid more interested in being funny than laying it out clearly. Would really look forward to you doing more videos of Lepin's cars, particularly the Bugatti that Lego is charging a whopping 350.00 bucks for. Thanks again for this well-put together presentation!
Thank you for the kind words! I ended up doing 2 more builds and had an absolute blast with all of them! The one issue I discussed on this build was the only problem I encountered over the 3 builds. Your comment is going to make me go buy more of them haha!
I hope so. I have been binge watching these videos on these models for the past 72 hours and yours is the best I have seen so far and I am still watching videos on these models. Please do the Bugatti
@@BoostBrothersGarage I got the chinese Bugatti. The quality is nearly equal to LEGO. I will never buy the original blocks anymore lol
Great video, I really wanted the Lego kit, but couldn’t justify the cost.. I’d been eying this fake kit for a while, and after watching this vid I’ve ordered one! Thanks 👍
Where can you order it
Thanks for the review.
i hope that has the same quality as the original, nice video!
Been eye balling the LEGO kit on amazon for a long time wanted to pull the trigger yesterday and they have one for 699$ so I imedially when to lepin and they also have a replica but didn’t know if their claims on detail was truth and they are right. Thanks for the video
These blocks are awesome
Hey, great video. Do u myb know where i could still find it today?
Do you have the install guide? Mine has been sitting for yrs but i lost the instruction manual
Holy shit! $100 for that? And $300 for Lego...oh man.
Right? Such a fun build!
That’s because Lego had to pay employees well to design and build the set, pay for the licensing, pay for the marketing, packaging, customer support and quality control. Lepin just has to copy the set, pay their workers nothing, and disregard international copyright law. Even their factories and warehouses look like parking garages.
The Lepin stuff, from the quality, support, and building experience is just crap compared to Lego. Their tolerances and materials are inferior. That’s why the real thing is much more expensive.
@@adamyo9003 even with that I'd much rather pay 100
@@adamyo9003 Lepin hoy en día es Mould King muchacho, y para ellos fábrica la muy conocida y famosa gobricks, la cual es actualmente la compañía que elabora los mejores bloques del mundo, incluso por encima de LEGO
Thanks for review bro. can you do more aliexpress review?
thanks.
This link don't work where can I buy sets like this one and others from
Were the bags sorted for instructions? Or was the pieces in random bags?
Bags were sorted for the instructions, just took me a while to figure it out being my first experience
Are these still up for sale?
how long is porsche from lepin?
Just made a purchase a Porsche 911 RSR from China and its relatively cheap! Just a 32 dollars.. but like what you said, might be missing pieces. Let’s just hope everything turns up well even-though lepin was totally shut in China last year. Cheers!
I’ve done 4 builds now and the only issue I’ve had with any of them was the one I noted in this video. Enjoy!
You're getting closer to Porsche builds !!!
I actually finished one! Haha
Did they end up sendimg you the parts?
Did you email lepin bout the bad spinner and did you get a replacement part?
I did try to reach out on the website with no luck. Since then I have ordered from Your World of Building Blocks and feel like I’d have a much better shot
Boost Brothers Garage hey. Which is your preferred brand from YWOBB?
Can you please add a link where to buy one. Many thanks

“What kind of 911 has an open diff” LMFAO
I purchased a Lepin kit was fantastic everything worked however I was missing two little cogs emailed wish who I got it from because the supplier was late replying they refunded every thing bought a little bag of cogs from eBay sorted so with the refund I bought the Bugatti Verona so the gt3 and the baron stands me at about £70 cant go wrong def getting more lepin kits
I’ve built 3 now. The issue I talked about in this video is the ONLY issue I’ve had. They are a lot of fun!
I got he "Decool" version because it came with the white/red motiff. Some parts may not fit as well, and you might be missing some pieces. But for 1/3 of the price you can't beat it. Check out the Mclaren P1. It's pretty dope too
Will do! I looked at the white/red version as well, almost ordered it! Waiting for Lepin to fully release the 911 RSR and going to order it. Showing up as preorder now and won’t let me order for some reason 🤷♂️
@@BoostBrothersGarage thats out already. www.yourwobb.com/products/lepin-20097-super-racing-car?variant=15936620822579 this place is legit, ordered from them before
Ordered, thanks!
hendeeze which is the preferred brand?
where i can buy this Lepin Porshe ?
Can i buy it in europe ?
I bought mine from Lepin direct online, but have also used the Your World of Building Blocks website
You can also buy it from ali express
U can get it from wish
how's the quality?
Tiny bit worse for Lepin can't say for others
I just ordered the Aliexpress one ... people are scalping the lego Porsche 911 gt3rs !!! People are selling for over 900$ right now! I ain’t paying some blocks that I’m going to build and leave it on a shelf for years for that price
Ha, I feel you! They are not as nice but I really enjoyed building this one and have built 8 more since then. Enjoy!
@@BoostBrothersGarage it will end up on a shelf and collect dust anyways so its ok haha. I am from Canada so these are sold overpriced on facebook marketplace
♥️
How long did it take to arrive? I ordered one yesterday
That one took A LONG TIME, because it was ordered from Lepin. I have since ordered 3 or 4 more from Your World of Building Blocks and they arrive within a week.
Thanks Boost Brothers Garage
Just got mine and it took 2 weeks to arrive. (Ordered from LepinWorld)
Avery Williford Did it had a tracking number? Because I can‘t track it
Just received mine🙂thanks
But the other thing is that the lego Porsche has motors and is remote control
I have the lego porsche model and have all models and variants from to make from aliexpress those from aliexpress don't do for lego under lego it's not worth the money you
pay for the name anymore not with aliexpress 78 euros now lego 899 euros now tired they say gearbox from aliexpress is better than that from lego, so you can recommend aliexpress for the porsche collectors
nice video made top right
I didn't know these type of models existed!?! You should have had your kids help you build the kit that way instead of 12 hours it would have taken you 12 days. There would have been a lot of complaining and crying but your kids would understand.
Hahahaha, our first born is 10 weeks old, he wasn’t much help. Actually, he interrupted me quite often with his wailing! Maybe in a couple more years he can be my helper 😉
Good 😍😍😍😍😃😃👏👏👏👏👏👏
Clearly a missed opportunity to make it 911 steps
So obvious!
Love! Aliexpres
The lepin is a direct rip off of the Lego kit. Also it is not an officially licensed Porsche kit. I understand you can't beat the price, however please do not support a company that does not do there own design, r & d or take the time to properly license the product. Yes part of the cost with the Lego was the fact that it was properly licensed by Porsche, which is also why the instruction book is such a well put together book.
Also I wish you luck in getting a hold of lepin, but I wouldn't hold my breath on getting those parts. An if you do get a hold of the. You will probably have to pay for the parts.
Again please do not support a company that steals from other companies, and makes an inferior product.
I can’t argue with your statements. After building the kit I now understand why the LEGO kit costs what it does. I was as critical and transparent as I could be. It’s up to everyone else to determine what to buy, and your comment will likely help people make that decision. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I might get the Lepin and see if it's good, but once I want to experience the full build I'll purchase the actual set
Who cares i just buy this one instead of the original i paid £60 the original is overpriced £250
G M I’ve got cheated and ended up buying a Lepin instead of the real thing for me and my son. Although we have build tons of LEGO I wasn’t aware of fake sets in Denmark. I am now. It looks the same but the quality isn’t. I will be more careful next time I buy used Lego 👍
LMAO.. real car guy doing exactly what it am.. i bought that car too..
If it’s got wheels I’m in!
I bought one used, just to see for myself. I built a formula 1 moc from the pieces since the Porsche didn't really interest me.
I was there filing molding flash from differential, shift forks, shift drums, deburring holes especially in panels, etc etc. And in the end it still couldn't work properly due to bad gears, bent axles, etc.
Don't get me started on their pins. Blue half/half ones in particular were bad, with either too much or not enough friction and lots of all types of blue pins were broken.
All the panels look like crap with bits of other colours in the molding, scratches and so on.
I guess if you were willing to replace all the technical parts with OEM Lego you might be ok.
Nah...
Remeber it was used
@@alexympr it was but that makes little difference. I've built Lego, CaDA bricks and Lepin. The individual pieces of Lepin are simply poor quality. They don't fit together nicely, and they are not consistent in how they don't fit nicely. If you're used to real Lego you'll be disappointed when yours arrives. If you don't care whether any of the functions works you may not be bothered.
MrAmorti I know I have been a fan of lego and I have many, I would not support fake but in this case the price cannot be compared and thanks for the opinion
It's like comparing a real Rolex vs. a knock-off from China. Looks the same, but....
Pésima comparación, los bloques de LEGO solo son piezas de ABS hechas en un molde, un Rolex tiene materiales de alta joyería, y millones de piezas móviles de muy, muy alta precisión
I don't trust people who buy Lepin...
I do trust the ones who buy it to make fun of it
Es más fácil burlarse de los que pagan 300 dólares por el mismo pedazo de plástico y encima se sienten superiores
I would rather get fake lego sets that the real deal due to how overpriced lego puts them for
Lego is overpriced cause they pay for trademarks
@@FlamingGoose911 and quality, and we’ll-paid employees, plus development, plus marketing, plus packaging, plus quality control, plus warehousing, plus licensing fees, plus customer support, etc.
@@adamyo9003 yup
@@adamyo9003 jajaja más calidad? Cómo la del Lamborghini Sian? Pfff
not lepin.............
Lepin are out of business, the Chinese authorities closed them down due to copyright infringement.
If you want a Lego set, buy a Lego set.
Jajaja eso crees? En serio crees que cerraron? Averigua de quién es Mould King, TLG y Technician 🫢
Supporting copies 👹
Bad style. If people do this then there won’t be any LEGO.
Both are made in china
Do not buy from LEPIN, they send you sets with missing pieces.... You pay and you have nothing, I had a horrible experience. Do not buy from them
Jajajaja
Fake
