Little Tampa town turning into Miami
Used to be the only place we ever heard about violent crime there 40-50 years ago was in Ybor City, and that was before it was a popular night spot. Now violent crime is all over Tampa.
I pray that they catch the suspect. This is a serious crime and it’s happening more and more

Gun culture and allowing people to conceal and open carry. It’s the Wild West all over again and the NRA and Republicans are to blame. I own a gun, I don’t own an arsenal, and my father was a police officer and a responsible gun owner, so I’m not speaking without a valid perspective beyond politics.

Not the same as in the mid 80s to early 2000s so we left and much happier now. We lived off CROSS CREEK BLVD that is only a mile from there!! Besides the terrible people, the climate is hot and humid. Taxes are high and traffic is terrible!!!

Yes it is a bad area. Sold our 800 K house for 750 K and left. We had no mortgage so it was easy to get out. Terrible people and the climate sucks!! Hot and humid with a lot of bugs!! Mosquitoes are like 747s

I lived in Tampa 1971-76 and there were rarely any murders then. It’s just incredible to hear the news report so much gun violence every day.
My son lives like 2 minutes from there. Way too close for comfort.
