When i was a kid , i did not know that Shredder chapter existed in the game (thats probably because i played on easy mode only)

If you beat the game on easy mode, it gives you a “hint” and suggest to play the game again on a higher difficulty.

Me too until I got it a few months ago in my phone and manged to finally beat the levels and get to Shredder, I still remember when he used to beat me when he had almost no health, that frustrated me. However I did actually managed to beat it!! (Don't remember if it was in my phone or in a R4 I had for my 3DS that had GBA roms

Wow, this brought back memories... This was my favorite Gameboy game as a kid. Donatello has always been my least favorite Ninja Turtle but in this game he was my favorite to play as. I really liked his move sets.

The michaelangelo levels with the mutants used to piss me off as a kid
I found them pretty easy.
You can hit them with at least one combo attack while they are walking on screen. During their walk, they do not attack until their whole body is on screen

Surprisingly good games. Hell the music's pretty good for being on the GBA (not that the GBA isn't capable of doing good music, but still)
I see this so often, and I really don't get it... the GBA has some *great* soundtracks. Not good, but great. Examples being Disney Princess, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Over the Hedge... and there are more.
+supermariobrosdeluxe personally I found MKSC's soundtrack to be pretty weak musically and extremely compressed sounding at that

After all these years, I never knew the final boss could be so easily exploited in his normal fighting stance(however, there was no need to do that exploit during the final notch.)

I randomly clicked on this expecting the usual gba licenced drek, But honestly im surprised this actually looks good.I didn't realise Konami still had the TMNT licence in the early 2000's, might have to pick this one up.
why are you not using the charge attacks? they are really useful and help vary the gameplay

I used to drop hours into this game and ninja storm. Always played this more since i never knew the controls for ninja storm zord battles until years later. But damn i used to hate/love this game so much. The stupid elevator levels with the lazers pissed me off so much though

Most of the Turtles have several different attacks. Straight attack, up attack, down attack, charged attack and R button special. Leo seems to be the only one who doesn’t have a unique up and/or down attack.

One Big Difference is that the Turtles Use Green Mutant Ooze to Restore Their Energy... They Used to Restore their Energy with Pizza.
This game is more aligned with the tv series that came out with this story and the green mutan ooze plays a big role

You just won't be able to play the Shredder stage if you play on easy.

Fun game. All the bosses were pretty easy compared to Shredder. Finally beat him by rapidly spamming Leonardo's crouching kick instead of the regular standing sword combo. And his charge attack when u hold down B is great for flying across the screen and killing at least 3 of those crazy animals Shredder splits up into.
Agreed. He was the only one I didn't beat the first time. Easily beat the other bosses on the first try.
This game's music sounds like it was made with synthesizers like the Sound Canvas SC8850. Can anyone verify that?

How can I play against shredder? I've had this game for years but I've never been able to do the last 4 missions with shredder
You have to play on normal or hard mode and get at least 3/5 of the crystals in each of the character stories. The crystals do not appear otherwise. If you beat all the turtle’s stories on easy, the game give you a hint and tells you to play the game on a higher difficulty.
