Plot Writer Note - I choose the name Piotr/Peter of Culwich as I wanted a name that could easily translate between Varushka and Dawn. He already has two badass titles to be called by!
@arranboyd2793 that makes so much sense to consider the Piotr version! Good job! And thank you for this plot so far! It's been giving me great enjoyment and focus this past year! - Dylan
That loudmouth Kohan during the Asavean skirmish was me, Guillermo i Erigo, I’m glad you enjoyed my rowdy language haha! Asaveans deserve nothing less!
The sword of some unknowing is the exact same as my sword I bought right after meeting Jim standing in the GOD queue, it's not mine I have it here but can confirm it's a great sword xD
Oh you guuuuys! Your telling of Quinton's Test of Ardor has filled my heart with joy! I'm so glad to hear the visual and vibe from outside the regio was fantastic! I wanted to bring a sense of sadness, slight terror and a heartfelt win with the completion of the test. Big up ya lads! 🧡
The skirmish (around 50mins) ... the smack talk was from IC Guillermo/ OC Will ... i think they're from the Chain Breakers? Basically lots of personal plot about not liking Sl@vers etc! Was a good scrap, I was one of the Kohan on the right
Just got to the section regarding Missed Calls during Battles - I cannot agree more with the sentiment of 'If you do not want to lose your character to battle, do not go on the battles.' It's something that transcends LARPs from what I've seen over the years, people don't want to lose their characters, I get that entirely. But the MOMENT you pass that threshold, the moment you are on a battle, you need to be prepared to lose it all. Calls are so easy to miss in the heat of battle, a lot going on and noise aplenty. But there is a limit to that sentiment, like the example you gave of the Mage taking 3 Calls and just going back behind the line. It sucks to witness, it sucks to roleplay and can unfortunately drum up resentment of that player in the field.
Yeah, no one wants their character to die, and its so understandable to be attached to your character! But once that starts affecting the fun, vibes, and immersion of the other people in the field? Well that's when there's problems!
Hard to hear people aren't taking calls when I lost my character this event. Long term ambitions should be challenging and rare so cheating yourself into them by not dieing is lame...

I was leading the Kohan on that skirmish you mentioned at the end - good fun! It is Guillermo (one of ours) who is graced with a silver tongue ;)

Love the epic battle versus Dry Patrick. I'm sad I haven't gotten to fight any desert husks yet. Ah well, The Deadwood Knight will make due

Keep bringing the stories of shenanigans. I LARP vicariously.
Right off the bat I love this background and how you are set cater-corner to it.

There is an unofficial Empire Tradition of having people join your group after you kill their character while monstering
I was hoping that fake swords real hot would be something very different 😜

@JonathanLimb our condolences to your lost character and we hope the people who knew them got some good RP out of it!
