Hi Josh, you might remember I left a comment a few vlogs back about my ACL situation. Update: surgery on Saturday! Luckily it's all progressed pretty quickly. I first saw the surgeon a couple of weeks ago and he was great. He talked me through the whole process, discussed what he thinks would be the best course of action and said the patellar graft is the best option because of the bone-to-bone healing. He's also the official surgeon for Brighton & Hove Albion FC so I'm sure I'm in good hands! A little nervous but mainly just excited to finally start the recovery process.
Hi Josh, apologies for the slow reply. Had a bit of time away from RUclips. Ah thats great to hear mate, its always nice being reassured by being told your surgeon is a good one! Where are you in the recovery now? Have you had your op yet?
@@JoshMcCallion No worries mate! Had surgery on the 15th of May and was all successful so luckily I’ve been through that painful stage of sitting around at home all day and I can move around much more now. Currently seeing my physio every couple of weeks and I’m now at the point where she wants me in the gym every other day to help rebuild the muscles that have wasted away and get the strength back. Obviously still pretty painful when doing certain exercises but progress is good and overall I’m just happy that I’m able to start exercising properly again! 👍🏼
