  • Since Chris cuts his own hair, he thought making a video on the differences between cheap an expensive hair clippers might be interesting to see. He also explains why he cuts his own hair.
Put simply, the old adage "you get what you pay for" couldn't be any more true.

Another "dislike" with no comment why. If you click dislike, can you please tell me why you did so? Is it me? Is it the subject of the video? Is it because of my opinion? I would like to know so I can improve my content.

There's so many reasons to dislike a video, they might not be all bad...

I think some people only want a simple benefit comparison, such as: simple usage manual from hair clippers (what can and can't do between these two builds), build quality, jam, last but not least is accesories. But I get it. You own a very detailed super geeky tech channel (in a positive way though, because I like techy stuff). I think the video title mislead some of us, it seemed simple but inside is a little too detailed on inside parts.

I've been using the Wahl color coded clippers for 15 years. 1.5 haircuts per month. Replaced the first set after 10 years. I always cut my hair dry. Never bothered to put oil on the blades. Work great.

I just looked up that set. Looks great. Based on my video, I'd say its a combination of the quality of the expensive unit with the accessories of the cheap unit. At a good price. And a great warranty. And it's made in the USA. Looks perfect for the "home gamer". If I was in the market for one, I'd grab it. Thanks for the suggestion.

It's not that hard really, you just have to live with what could happen if you do a bad job. It only takes a couple of cuttings to get it right lol!
