Very clean looking city. Loved the trees not so much the wood round The Black Prince. . Very interesting. Julia funny with pidgeons. Love the hat and earrings. Great video. Thank you so much. ❤
My goodness, you, two, do get around! I've never been to Leeds so I enjoyed the walkabout - thanks a lot. I was surprised to see that the city centre appeared to be relatively quiet for a major cosmopolitan town. Some beautiful old buildings. Looks like I'll have to visit Leeds myself some time!
Hee hee, I am known as the bird lady Julia! I live in a city and take in injured/sick pigeons and gulls (and also remove all that twine etc from pigeons feet). You two made me laugh throughout this episode, it seemed to be one funny after another. I love your fun as I too have a wacky kind of humour. You're a right pair you know - in the nicest possible way. 😊
The part of this video with the pigeons. Wetting myself…”Ey up Ow Do” I love this channel always makes me chuckle. 😂🐦Hope you both have a nice time up north!
I love The English Couple , you both really made me laugh with your crazy antics you are both a joy to watch , and nice seeing a different part of Leeds besides its large shopping area of town, sadly though its going the same way as London with far too many glass and metal buildings swamping the older Georgian and Victorian brick builds .
Have either of you ever been to Tenby in Wales? It's such a quaint place, very traditional yet colourful in architecture. It's also a town that is built around an old castle, and is on many levels (quite hilly!) It's an amazing place and I enjoyed visiting there a year ago. So many old buildings, so much character, and the peace of the waves on pristine beach with crystal clear water!
Beautiful Tartaria buildings that we call Old buildings or architecture. Actually many of these magnificent Tartaria type structures were sadly destroyed out of existence during the war after heavy bombing. The reason that the buildings are perceived as Beautiful, is because the architects and builders kept in mind the absolute beauty of the natural world, and how we realise that there is beauty in patterns that are symmetrical and are representative of nature and divinity. Also the buildings of the Tartaria era were harmonically and acoustically designed via the help of arithmetic to accurately assimilate perfection and the beauty of. This is why you have wonderful echoes in these magnificent structures, and why they are so pleasant to be in and around. The ring tone of a bell in a church tower is to first keep in mind the design of a harmoniously structured building in which to enable a bell to resonate it's divine frequency. This is why a singing voice sounds so harmonically wonderful in a tartarian or an old building as some call them.... nature always seeks perfection in itself and so did we at one time, to be beautiful internally and, if you have no divine beauty within, your architecture results will be to build a hideous square concrete jungle which will represent how the individual builder feels on the inside...
Hello, Richard and Julia! Massive thanks for this wonderful video! Of course, Julia is much more attractive than that strange woman. It's an amazing place, though there are not so many trees there. Is it a city because there is a Cathedral there or just because it is quite big?
Just for your information. Leeds Town Hall is a Grade 1 Listed building and is generally felt to be one of the most significant pieces of Municipal architecture in England. Shame you couldn't find the time to have a proper look at it.

Nice to see the happy couple in the City of Leeds.
So funny, love the dancing
Always fun to watch your adventures.
WHAT IS THAT CR4P around that statue?
Ugliness by design in all our public spaces, in Leeds there is a Lockstep installation of rainbow legs.
Thank you both for a great video - was good to see Leeds having not been there myself! Enjoyed your humour Richard esp the telephone box bit... 😅
Certainly an interesting place to visit. So much medieval history in that part of the country.
Loved the pigeon run 😊 I did the same when I went to London… great fun 😃

Leeds is entirely unrecognisable from how it was about 40 years ago.

The column that you were stood in front of was Leeds War Memorial !!
Was that "Bamboo Tube" thing "Buggingham Palace? 🤣
That's definitely an Acer 👍
Not a patch on Salisbury Cathedral....or Truro Cathedral 🤔

Thank you both but I must say how ugly and what a waste of money chopping down these beautiful trees 🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🤷
A city would be a city without a freemason''s Obelisk. I love Henry Moore sculpture as it's very organic in concept.
Turkey oak
💖🙏💫
Love the attempt at an irish accent as an irish woman third commentator i think
23:00 Probably a Sweet Gum tree, aka LiquidAmbar.
Oooh, thanks Sean! 💜
What an awful monstrosity surrounding that beautiful statue
what is the weight of words was it the library or an aquarium
The underground tunnels are interesting.
Hope there are no trafficked children hidden in them!!
@@DJTT-d9h probably it's happening around the world .
First! 🤫
City sq you are outside Queens Hotel
What an awful looking wood plank art instillation. I hope it wasn’t tax payer funded. The statue looked better.
