theres a difference in "not crashing" vs getting hit by someone you arent even driving with. If lz was the one that did that he wouldnt care and thats part of the game + theyre boys and thats that. Id be tight too if some rando hopped in behind me and smoked my rear quarter wouldnt matter the car.

Clearly damage is inevitable, every time you go out for a tandem you’re accepting the liability of literally totalingggggg your car. And I’m not trying to talk shit or anything like that. But if you’re driving with a set group of people and no one else all day, then out of no where, another group decides to invite themselves in then and then crashes into you. You’d be upset regardless the situation hahaha its not the damage but how it was caused. BUT, it’s spilt milk, I’m gonna fix it and continue to drive with my friends! Drifting is destructive, but you can still be respectful

I think we learnt today that Jimmy needs to drive more. I don't mean that in a disrespectful way, not knowing your car is set up that badly and just trying to struggle through it, says to me that Jimmy really wants to drive more but like he mentioned people enjoy the building car vids more than the driving ones. So rather than multiple sessions and refining both car and technique more often, Jimmy builds cars and they sit around. After all, YT is his job so its smart and I get it. Me personally I like both building and driving vids. Nothing better than watching a master piece come together and then seeing it out dong its thing, it is the best. Watching the way it comes on boost, how it sounds and performs and all that good stuff. Anyway Jimmy love ya and keep on keeping on.

Building custom long travel front suspension for buggies I learned Ackerman and steering geometry has a bigger impact than you'd think. Makes sense that applies to drifting also since drifting and off road racing kinda have similar driving styles.

The drift videos are the shit. I really enjoyed watching Adam help get the car dialed in with all the tech talk and stuff, it's super helpful. We all need some friends more knowledgeable about that stuff and unfortunately a lot of us lack that. It's hard getting into the scene as a youngin. That being said if anyone might know why my e36 doesn't self steer please lmk. The switch from an is300 to an e36 has been super difficult for me and I'm really struggling with transitions.
I’ve read both sides of the argument while watching the video. I still sit on the side of, don’t want dents, don’t go drift. Cars will get dings if you’re out raging with people. Jimmy even called it out at the beginning that he was excited to *drive with new random people

I like drift/track day and i think you should record drift day (its content) plus its always nice seeing other ppl's perspective in drifting and the movements and control🤪 etc.. plus random tandems suck some times especially when touching happens🧐 [in other words always show DRIFT DAY!!!] Its also your first time drifting that track in the 1jz s13 so the adjustments was needed, faster turns as you said! Thanks Adam was there since he's use to the track so he knew what was needed😎

Always thought that you never got close enough to tap someone you didn't know or hadn't talked to beforehand . This is why often they will have different classes or groups .

If you're getting this nervous and upset about a random driver's drift tap on your car, it's because not so deep down you know you shouldn't be drifting that car at public events with strangers anymore. She doesn't need to be a garage queen, but she needs to be respected equally as much as the time, money, passion and effort you've put in to her. She's also just like you said, endangered, and a modern classic. Fix it, dial it in, and save it for time with your friends. Use the 350Z for what it's best at. Being a fun, affordable, good looking drift beater.

On that note though if I was the rookie guy who smashed your quarter panel while getting in over my head I'd at least offer to help pay for the damage my mistakes caused. The drift videos are the shit. I really enjoyed watching Adam help get the car dialed in with all the tech talk and stuff, it's super helpful. We all need some friends more knowledgeable about that stuff and unfortunately a lot of us lack that. It's hard getting into the scene as a youngin.
That being said if anyone might know why my e36 doesn't self steer please lmk. The switch from an is300 to an e36 has been super difficult for me and I'm really struggling with transitions.
Drift days are the best! I absolutely love watching you build things and hang with the fam but we want to see you actually use the things you build!!!

I’ve read both sides of the argument while watching the video. I still sit on the side of, don’t want dents, don’t go drift. Cars will get dings if you’re out raging with people. Jimmy even called it out at the beginning that he was excited to *drive with new random people

God dammit jimbo, I can picture the comment I left on the video when this car was done and I said “don’t drift this it’s gonna get hit and it’s too nice” and here it is, despite all that, love the driving content, whether it’s drifting, just ripping back roads whatever, I like watching you build cars but I wanna see you DRIVE them too, easy cruising, car meets, ripping on back roads, let’s see it all this year
I like drift/track day and i think you should record drift day (its content) plus its always nice seeing other ppl's perspective in drifting and the movements and control🤪 etc.. plus random tandems suck some times especially when touching happens🧐

Glad I’m not the only one that prefers shop/build videos over the drift videos. Same for the other RUclips drift dudes too eg: LZ, Strapnick, Papa Tom etc
Always thought that you never got close enough to tap someone you didn't know or hadn't talked to beforehand . This is why often they will have different classes or groups .
I loved this video! No idea why others wouldn’t want to stick around for your drifting content! Sorry to see the 13 get hit though, I feel your pain. I’d be scared to go full send with my S15 anywhere near people I don’t know for the same reason
It makes sense since the 15 is your main car, but if you had 20 cars I feel like you’d be more free to send it a bit harder.

If you're getting this nervous and upset about a random driver's drift tap on your car, it's because not so deep down you know you shouldn't be drifting that car at public events with strangers anymore.
She doesn't need to be a garage queen, but she needs to be respected equally as much as the time, money, passion and effort you've put in to her. She's also just like you said, endangered, and a modern classic.
Fix it, dial it in, and save it for time with your friends. Use the 350Z for what it's best at. Being a fun, affordable, good looking drift beater.

Sucks about the random tandem tap but its gonna happen out there when drifting public events. I'd save the S13 for private sessions and full send the Z at public gatherings. On that note though if I was the rookie guy who smashed your quarter panel while getting in over my head I'd at least offer to help pay for the damage my mistakes caused. Also any type of driving v-log drifting or otherwise is what it's all about right? Use it or lose it!
