Sirji as per RTO terms we can't use any kind of communication device while riding bike. So please help if we get caught what should we say to COP
As per my understanding the rule is your hands should be on handle or steering while riding and driving
In case of any Bluetooth device be it POd/intercom/helmet BT or in case of car inbuilt Bluetooth they all make sure we have our hands on our steering or handle
So I guess they cannot challan you if you make them understand nicely
Always avoid any type of distraction while driving, Bike or car it's banned in some countries as well. After all its your life rest is upto you.

I have used EarPods in helmet in the beginning and now use Helmet device....from that experience I can say that what Tiger ji is saying is absolutely true. EarPods should be avoided in helmet, you cant hear horn from other vehicle when you are using EarPods . However, I recommend Helmet BT devices that have their buttons outside the helmet instead of inside (mic position) for full face helmets.
What if you are wearing earpods but not playing any music, and just using it to take calls?

Well, riding intercoms are overrated if your only use case is take calls or listen to navigation, you can instead get open ear style earpods, the ones with small or no stick and rubber. For eg Samsung Galaxy Buds live, they don't block your hearing you can turn off anc, plus they are very tiny and slip hence there won't be discomfort.
How is the helmate with inbuilt bluetooth like headfox?

Very well said, it is really important to be aware of surroundings while you ride, and using earphones is always a hassle, these kinds of devices are very useful, my friend was suggesting me to get one, also useful for communicating while going on ride with friends ( Considering you are in network coverage area) if going remote places you will require intercoms. sir, i just want to inform you that please don't sell or promote bluetooth intercom (BT-8) . I was using it from last 1 year and few days before i was facing issue of battery draining and when is removed my helmet padding i saw the battery was inside the right side speaker an came out of the compartment because of bloating . i was shocked to see that because when i purchased i thought the battery is in microphone compartment . This can lead to multiple dangerous things like accident or ear loose because of spark or any blast in battery . Thank god i am safe nothing has happened🙏🏻 .

I recently purchased a dual pack of intercom for rider and pillion, for one Helmet installation was pretty easy as it came with pockets for speakers but for other one the helmet doesn't have removable lining and pockets for speakers. In that case how can I install the intercom? Any suggestions please?
