Thank you so much for this!! I just picked up this TV tonight at Costco after researching as best I could over the past few weeks. I won't be able to set it up for another few days and this answered every question I had!
I was looking at all the TV’s in best buy. I am a samsung guy but let me tell you, the picture on this blew my mind. It was so bright, bold and vivid. It was almost like 3D.
@@lukemenard3225 Hey , thanks for the question. I didn’t see the 83 but they did have the 80 right next to the 85 and to my eyes they looked almost identical. 85 is this years model and 80 is last years model. Honestly for the price i would just get the 80. The difference to me was negligible. But i was extremely impressed.
Omg that measuring tape... it only has inches... so weird! I was looking for cm.. and.. nothing! You also didn't plug it into a laptop/Pc to see the "pc mode" I wanted to see if it supported 4096 x 2160 @120hz. People are starting to use these as monitors now as they're so cost effective.
Got mine from Costco and it has issues. I have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to basically reset and have it work properly. We ordered a replacement so hopefully we don't have issues on the 2nd go around
Thanks so much for actually measuring and showing it. That is real info viewers want. 👍. An add I would love to see is over the air antenna content. I was disappointed LG did not go with an ATSC 3.0 tuner. I wonder how over the air content looks upscaled. I think what you showed was wifi based content, maybe I am wrong though.
Thanks for the comment. Yes ATSC 3.0 tuner would have been great but I honestly see cable companies just providing HDMI boxes these days like Xfinity and Att.
