Dude at 0:36 could have EASILY avoided that, even if he did have the ROW. Drive defensively people; not to be 'right'.
He probably could have, but any time I’m in a double turn I’m focused on the lane next to me because I’m worried they’ll swerve. I might have hit the red light runner too 😅
@@lianegiago5443 This is kinda my take as well -- I do somewhat sympathize with the cammer because there's a strong chance they're eyeballing the pickup truck to their left. That's where my concern would be as well in that situation given double lane issues + pickup truck drivers.
Actually, why not? If the cammer has extra time to talk to the police and money to pay even more insurance and doesn't mind losing the car to the repair shop, why not?
The rest of us who like saving time, money, and headaches can do things like slow down.
Though it's entirely possible, even likely, they were eyeballing the cars on their left at the time. I would be.
@@lianegiago5443 You shouldn't be on the road then if you can't do those two things at once.
it says in the bottom he deliberatly wanted to teach him a lesson
It's usually better to simply avoid an accident rather than "teach them a lesson" because they probably don't have insurance or a license
Yup, people make their lives unnecessarily difficult by giving in to their pride and ego. Just let it go, you're never going to see that person again. You don't have to prove anything to them.
Who would ever choose to be in an accident?
“Teaching them a lesson” is about the dumbest thing you can do.
I say this only due to the un-likelyhood that the “lesson” will take.
A more likely outcome is that everyone they know, will hear about what a dumbass YOU are (regardless of how untrue).
@@WonBrainCell There's been a few people on this channel recently that have deliberately caused an accident by refusing to brake or slow down.
@@WonBrainCell Keep watching the videos, you'll find plenty.
1:24 that is a 2004-2005 Honda Civic DX coupe
I was thinking the same thing.
I knew it was that gen Civic coupe, but definitely couldn't tell it was the facelifted model. That's a damn good car eye 👍🏻
1:41 And here I thought the issue would be the person on the bike, with no lights, riding through when they 100% shouldn't be. Yikes.
Its florida - that must be the new raschel scooter SS.
His drivers license # was 8id3nSux !
Supra for sure
Far too many people seem to honestly/literally believe that no one is “allowed to” inconvenience them in any way, at any time, for any reason.
Breaking half a dozen rules/laws just because something annoyed you, isn’t the way to a peaceful life.
Will never understand people who turn left at a snail's pace. Clear the intersection. The longer you're in it, the more likely something is going to go wrong.
3:14 "Hauler behind seemed not to be paying attention either" Wrong. You can clearly see his vehicle lean forward almost immediately after the cammer's car shifts forwards, he just was following too close and couldn't stop in time with his heavy trailer.
Yeah these rams are rated to tow 4.5 metric tonnes usually if the trailer has its own brakes, the weight of three cars plus the trailer would be pushing that rating to the limit.
(This is what they are rated in Australia, may be different in US)
@@yllanthrasblood9297 The tow rating wouldn't exactly change, it'd just be in Imperial units. 😁

Turn out the lights, the party's over...
And the pickup truck never even noticed...
Ohhh, the whole block just went dark and there was a bright flash behind me.... nah, no need to brake.

Cammer... there was a f****ng YELD sign for you. check your mirrors before entering the road.
"Luckily I had a cam to show you how stupid this bus driver was..." fml...
Yeah I had to rewatch that because I was like, really traffic going onto the highway and coming off the highway are using the same lane?!? But with a yield sign, it's very different. Cammer is 100% at fault. 😂
Can't believe they even bothered to post this video.
his videos have made it on quite a few of these, normally he's in the wrong
@@breannawatson6281 Popular interchange design back in the day, the double cloverleaf.
Which puts traffic *accelerating* to highway speeds into the same lane as vehicles *decelerating* to exit.
It's a design of monumental idiocy seen all over the place in the US.
It means to yield before merging farther left, he was still on the ramp. Drivers in main traffic looking to merge right to exit should either speed up or slow down to get between cars coming in, since those cars will be trying to merge left and will leave room, not almost sideswipe them.
5:54 the moment that car hit the pole the video cut to an ad, that’s one crazy collision!
2:37 Now I want to know more about why he walked to the construction site.
Umm 3:25, you were obviously road raging too. From the video, it literally looks like you started it…
3:50 They're listening to Coffeehouse Crime! Nice.
"Why are so many Crypto Millionaires Mysteriously Dying?"
3:25 - feel like you definitely played a role in the road rage with how you were driving
@2:48, NEVER do this. Don't ever drive in a lane sandwiched between cars to each of your sides in adjacent lanes. Especially if you have room behind to drop back.
If you do what the cammer does here, you've immediately removed nearly ALL of your evasion ability. Which in general is one of the worst moves you can make while driving. You should always create options for yourself when you can, not restrict them.
EDIT: I know this was captioned the video. I'm just emphasizing exactly how terrible this is.
Also, don't sit in someones blind spot.
As a motorcycle rider I had massive flashing red lights going off inside my head when I saw that. Get the fuck outta that killzone!
But sometimes that's just how it is... you can't stop all scenarios from happening
@@fatkidsdontrun9394 No, it doesn't have to be "just how it is."
You can always slow down a little, and the traffic behind you in your lane will slow as well.
If the highway was so jammed up that the space couldn't exist, then at that point, traffic's so dense that everyone's doing 10 mph anyway.
@@Morgan423Z NEVER do this. Don't ever drive in a lane sandwiched between cars to each of your sides in adjacent lanes, especially if you have room behind to drop back.

4:47 bro shoulda drove home exactly the speed limit, no music, rethinking life
10:30 is piss poor road design. Also, there is a sign telling you to yield. Bus driver just showed you the hard way who had right of way.
The only issues were
1. Two feet then exit
2. Cam car “I go now, good luck everyone else” but the everyone else is twice as big
Cammer's fault for not yielding to the highway traffic. Hope they check the comments and learn something.
welcome to nova scotia! the vid is taken nearby where I live and there's a bunch of these 2 second double merge lanes, they all just loop back around on a ramp so its not the end of the world if you run out of road but they are super stressful to drive on during rush hour traffic!
Fed-Ex truck... Cell phone ? Yes. With a side of drinking on the job/drunk driving ? Probably.
A lot of those drivers don't even have the spatial awareness of a rock.
8:53 Excellent pit maneuver! Only 3 problems; he isn't a cop, the victim wasn't doing anything wrong, and the pickup truck driver had no idea what he was doing.
10:30 you have a yield sign, that's on you
5:51 ooof that was an epic crash. Hitting a transformer and knocking out power for the entire block big OOOF.
0:46 Tears Don’t Fall playing in the background really sets the mood😭😂
I grew up with this song!
nice catch
10:43 - The bus had the right-of-way. Cammer is wrong.
Even if that's untrue, it always amazes me how drivers of smaller vehicles think they're going to win against semis, busses, etc. It's easier for something small to speed up and slow down. Better to make the move yourself than get squashed, but these people just have to be right.
100%. To give cammer just a bit of grace, however... that is a terrible merge/exit point.
@cdsteig it's terrible if people don't yield accordingly. I'm sure any other time, it's perfectly fine.
@@breannawatson6281 tons of these around my area, regularly see accidents or near misses at them. It is a bad design, but drivers should be prepared for it better at this point.
Far too many people just don’t seem to understand how to properly merge, and usually don’t accelerate enough, or at the appropriate time.
The bus didn’t (technically) do anything wrong… but probably could have been a little more proactive to avoid the situation. But buses (in my experience) have a general overall tendency to assume right of way in a broad variety of circumstances.
11:49 Cammer is at fault for being on the left when not passing. It's the law in most States and prevents these road rages. Move over.
That only applies if you can't go the speed limit. The left lane isn't the "go as fast as you want" lane.
@@tmike2552 “Passing lane” has no relation to speed limit. If you’re speeding in the passing lane, you’re using it improperly. However, if you’re driving slow or “just going the speed limit,” you are ALSO using it improperly.
Passing lane is for PASSING, completely unrelated to speed. If you are not actively passing someone, you need to move over. You don’t linger in the left lane forever.
@11:45 I see this all too often, especially on multilane roads. People think that if there's 2 or more lanes, you MUST go highway speeds even if indicated otherwise. Hell, an area near me has a 2 lane road that goes from a 45 to a 35 due to entering a small town and people always get pissy whenever I slow down to that 35 (or 25 if the school zone lights are flashing). Sorry I don't wanna get caught in a speed trap, but you're good to go around me and get caught in it yourself!
No one is saying you "must" go highway speeds. Just gtfo of the furthest left lane if you're going to go exactly the speed limit, it's a passing lane, not a "well I'm just going to cruise and chill at my own pace" lane
@@Doctorboster you being inept at time management and/or being too impatient is your problem, not mine. Go ahead and go 70 down a 2 lane residential or pedestrian traffic road.
@@Dimumouto You just don't know the rules of the road, for all you know they could be in an emergency and you're too selfish to move over... and for what? just to prove a point? just to be a pest? Seriously grow up kid
@Doctorboster you're right, I wouldn't know if they're in an emergency. But that's what *emergency vehicles* are for. Or a police escort.
But to believe that anyone who's speeding is having an emergency? I think you're the one who needs to grow up, especially if you feel *entitled* to go 80 down a 45 MPH 2 lane road *just* because it's a 2 land road.
@dimumouto “All states allow drivers to use the left lane (when there is more than one in the same direction) to pass. Most [all but 4] states restrict use of the left lane by slow-moving traffic that is not passing.” This law is commonly called the “slowpoke” law, which requires drivers to move to the right lane(s) on any roadway if they are driving at a slower rate than other drivers at the time. There are exceptions for drivers making a left turn or passing in the left lane. You can get a ticket for blocking faster moving traffic in the left lane - even in residential roads - it’s called “obstruction of the flow of traffic.” Although the law exists, enforcement of the law isn’t always seen; it’s very inconsistent state-to-state.
9:50 🎶You can go your own way!🎶
That second clip is shameful. The dude was turning in miles away, like yeah they shouldn't have gone but come ON the cammer had so much time to slow down to let them pass.
Drive safely, don't drive to teach people lessons
I do see that a lot on dashcam, they have so much time and room to slow down but they don't and them not letting people merge into lanes from a ramp. A lot of videos I see the accidents are avoidable.
@@TorryGood yeah that's the general trend from these dashcam compilations, people don't seem to know what a brake pedal is

Don’t camp out in the passing lane doing exactly the speed. Get over and allow faster drivers to pass.
On the highway, yes.
It’s really not a thing on the local streets however.
Speed limit is the same in every lane. Just because people call it a passing lane, doesn’t mean you have a free pass to speed in it.
@@ChrisJones-pi5mhThat is not how it works on a highway. Read signage and a drivers manual.
@@JW-mb6tq then what’s the speed limit in the left lane Mr. Know-it-all? 😂🤡

@@ChrisJones-pi5mh yes you do! You can be ticked in many places for your ignorance.
On many highways you must yield the left lane when traffic approaches you from behind. What do you think those signs mean that say “slower traffic keep right”?

3:49 crazy to hear Adrian from Coffeehouse Crime appear in a random dashcam video. Excellent true crime channel
Chamomile, the problem is not so much your speed, it's the fact that you are blocking people from passing. You are cruising along close enough to the pickup and SUV in the right lanes that you are forming a roadblock. Don't do that. Either speed up or get the hell out of the way.
Lmfao it's not a highway dummy.

Probably a young, drunk/stoned driver with a suspended license and no insurance… that would be my guess anyway.
Looks like a neon to me
0:25 WHAT IS THAT PHONK TRACK I NEED IT
11:45 ok but if you arent actively passing people while driving in the left lane, respectfully get out of the left lane. The left lane is for passing, not cruising at the speed limit and pacing everyone around you
Cammer was following another car at a safe distance.
not every left lane on every road is a passing lane. it's 40mph, in a school zone that is 20mph twice a day, with multiple left turns. left lane / passing lane is for actual highways, not roads like this. if cars are frequently transitioning through the left lane to make left turns, it's not a "passing lane" where you abandon the speed limit altogether.
That only applies to highways and divided roads without left turns. Not a 40 mph residential road.
That whole clip is basically a “non-event”.
All it is really is just “documentation” of someone’s impatience.
As repeated above, there is no passing lane on a city street with frequent turn-off traffic. That unofficial (sometimes official) rule only applies to freeways.
honestly in the 3rd clip, the Saturn driver had some pretty nice reaction time. Stopped on a dime the second he heard the horn

1:24 @RobotJones11 - The car in your hit and run video is a Red 2003 2 door Honda Civic
First video ... looks like the light was turning red for both drivers. In most states the left turning driver must yield to the driver proceeding straigh through the intersection, no matter how red that light is.
0:05 while it's true that the silver car ran the red light, the BMW was struck in the rear quarter-panel after braking in the silver car's path. Just keep moving out of the intersection and there's no collision.
“They ran the red light and sideswiped me…”
Whatever the status of the light… both of you were driving through it.
If it was red, you are both running a red light and equally at fault.
If it was green, left turning vehicle must yield to traffic traveling straight and YOU are at fault.
If it was yellow, left turning vehicle must confirm that oncoming traffic has stopped before completing your turn.
By the way…
Does anyone know the difference anymore between “sideswipe” and “T-bone”?
@@bobinthewest8559 The light probably just turned red (you can see the opposing traffic moving a few seconds after the crash). If a car turning left is waiting in the intersection (as you are supposed to) then once the light turns red they should get out of the intersection so as to not disrupt the flow of traffic. It's not "running a red light" if you got there when the light was green and were waiting in the intersection until you had time to go.

12:09 I’m not condoning this at all but why are you staying in the left lane if your going to drive the limit? Not to mention that’s the PASSING lane, not the travel lane.
That applies to highways or roadways with signs posted. There are plenty of signs denoting school zones so I’m going to say this doesn’t apply here. Then you wouldn’t be able to “travel” down the left lane at all unless passing but this is city traffic with lights people would constantly be shifting lanes which is dangerous. People far right. Ow traveling several lanes miles away from their left turn is silly.
Most states have a road rage law and even that states you can be in the left “passing” lane up to 1.5 miles before your turn.
3 second rule still applies to passing lane. Along with speeding. You can get tickets for going 5 over and/or tailgating in passing lanes if a cop feels like it.
If the cammer went faster they would have to slow for the vehicle ahead as would the other vehicle who realized this and didn’t get in front of the cammer so moot point.
@@dramalama10 Thats not true, in nearly every state the passing lane rule applies to ALL "multi-Lane roads." Why not just be courteous and move over and let them pass, it doesn't hurt you at all. 0:10 I cannot stand people who think they can just go straight through the intersection on yellow/red lights over their complete lack of patience & acceptance that the traffic light changed. No care if there's a vehicle waiting to turn left after the green has ended. Silver car should be at fault; running a red is running a red, period. There is no excuse for it.
