- Stockfish 16 has came out and it's amazing, 3 brilliants in a row against Stockfish 15.1. Even chess.com stockfish does not comprehend the moves that are played (by giving some inaccuracies).

Well i think stockfish 16 is going to introduce to a lot of new chess opening theory...
It was very surprising to see v.15 being just worse in the opening itself
idk about that. The analysis engine is ass
😂😂😂😂😂@@ricciardisimone

And I thought it couldn't get any better, great job stockfish 16!
Which engine is telling Stockfish 16 what is inaccuarity???
Sf 16 itself but at higher depth
3:36 I was trying to figure out why White Rook didn't take "free" Black Bishop. It's because if R×Be8+ then Kf7, and after Rook moves, K×e7. So White thinks the "almost Queen" pawn on e7 is worth more than a Bishop.
I was trying to work that out even came to the comment section thank you
Become then Kf7 and then white can't promote at any cost and has to give up the pawn
This is just insane. But its a proof that we are far away from perfect chess
Would need quantum computer to have perfect chess as it would be able to calculate all positions in chess instantly
finally someone that is better than stockfish 15.1
My brain left at 1:02
if s15 took the pawn s16 would have took the rook and s15 would need to take knight back if s15 instead took the pawn than s16 would take the pawn on f4 which is a positive trade the second brilliant if s15 doesn't take pawn and does something else s16 can take another pawn and fork the rooks if s15 did take s16 would again take the pawn on f4
s15 = stockfish 15
s16 = stockfish 16
Series of brilliants !!!
*Which chess engine were you using to calculate their accuracy?*
i am speechless, these chess engines are beyond this world
Stockfish corrects itself and realizes its own mistakes
Maybe give Stockfish 15 higher depth until it beats Stockfish 16? That would be interesting.
depth 20 stockfish 15 can easily draw depth 40 stockfish 16!
@@Wawacat4436 what??
@@justalpaca4943 listen, it happens often with top level engines, its normal that a depth 20 bot that is lower rated than the depth 40 bot can draw
How? Logic? @@Wawacat4436
Stockfish can resign?
I thought it wasn’t programed to do so
I think the positions toooo bad, they didnt even need to continue the game
Game automatically ends when their eval is superior to a threshold
evaluation is +8 because there’s no way for black to stop white from taking the bishop, which leads to a rook vs rook & knight endgame. if Stockfish has ANY piece majority over the opponent in the endgame, it will win
pov: the game analysis rn: BRILLIANTT!! best move. BRILLIANT!!!! best move. BRILLIANT!! best move.
‘A perfect game of chess always ends in a draw’
it was not draw number one and number two it was not perfect
And number 3, it hasn't been proven that a perfect game is a draw.
@@DavidBergeron87
Statistically speaking everyone accepts it is. Engines of the same ELO draw against themselves and the win/loss ratio is not significant enough because time constraints were put on the moves.
So as proofs go statistics has already proved its a draw, all engines have proved its a draw.
The proof is:
if Engine A plays Engine B (Same ELO) and statistically the draw is significant, this eliminates time as a factor and the win/loss ratio as a factor, only the significant draw is useful.
Since Engine A always improves and Engine B always improves until they reach Table base 32 level, the statistical significance of draw has not changed, whether there is a win or a loss this can be eliminated due to time reduction.
So statistically, chess is a draw, simply because two engines of the same ELO never have a greater win/loss ratio than draw ration.
Even if you have two engines playing each other making random moves, the draw rate should be more significant. Because they will hit the 3 move rule or wont know how to play.
So if you can never get an engine to have a significant win/loss rate against itself, it can never win against itself.....even when their ELO reaches TB 32....
This is a proof by contradiction. Hence chess is a draw, until finally the ELO engines match the TB32.
You are welcome.
Matthew Groom.
@@mattgroom1 Good proof, but none of what you said constitutes as a perfect game. The search for a perfect game where both sides play the best moves is still ongoing, and as chess engines keep evolving, more "best" moves are found. Because a perfect game seemingly evolves as chess engines grow stronger, we don't know the end game state of a perfect game. Until we have a proof of exhaustion (or any other proof) of a concrete example of a perfect game, the question would still be up in the air whether the current founded perfect game is indeed "perfect".
Another thing... "a perfect game of chess doesn't end in a draw" cannot be rejected yet. Consider if White starts with a king and queen and black starts with only a king. Even with the best moves available, black cannot force a draw by his own power. This game should end with a win for white if both sides play the best moves available. Therefore, in this scenario, a perfect game would end in a win for white. Obviously because white had an extra queen, white wins that position. This extra queen generated "significant advantage" in which the game state is not equal for both sides and ends with the advantageous side winning.
But what about the standard chess starting position? Is there any "significant advantage" generated from just the starting position? Seemingly, it seems like both sides are equal, but "significant advantage" could be generated for white simply because white has the first move! Unless this is disproven, a statement such as "A perfect game ends in a win for white" cannot be rejected due to advantage generated by white's obligatory first move. Another example of possible significant advantage, although unlikely, is the fact that white and black play with mirrored starting positions rather than rotational symmetric starting positions
@@mattgroom1 @mattgroom1 #1 engine Stockfish faced #2 Komodo Dragon at TCEC Season 22 SuperFinal. 100 games, Stockfish won 28, lost 9, rest were draws. So, it's not always a draw with engines. Even if Stockfish faces Stockfish in 100 games, there's still going to be wins and draws.
We currently only have tablebase 7 solved. The gap from tablebase 7 to 32 is so huge. Chess will never be solved in our life time, our kid's lifetime or their kids.
There's nothing proving chess is a draw, win for white or win for black (could actually be a forced win for black with a zugzwang situation).

I'd like to state that Stockfish 16 vs Stockfish 15 is more than highly likely ending up in a draw almost every game. Secondly, Stockfish 16 vs Stockfish 15 leads to an Open Berlin (literally tested this myself a minute ago). AND, Stockfish 16 (and 15 for that matter) should have 99%+ accuracy considering it's the standard comparison point. AND, Stockfish cannot be considered 4000 Elo based on how Elo is measured.
the accuracy scores were wrong because the accuracy was measured by stockfish 11 which cant even understand the depth of their moves
who says it was analyzed by stockfish 11@@BoxLounge
Is stockfish 15.1 as white to hard for stockfish 16 to beat as black?
