That risk thing you talk about Matt is very true. Some very rough operators get away with murder and don’t know how lucky they are. The Grass Hopper would have to be the easiest thing to bleed. Our 9G would have to be the hardest. Bleed everything according to the book and end up towing it. It very rarely starts on the starter motor after getting air in it.
Love to see one of those "road trains on US soil " that would be hilarious!!! Good to see everyone happy and feeding us in the US OF A---thank you for all you do !!! Can't wait to see the D-11's back in action---the biggest I have ever sat on was a D-9
Hey Matt best thing I've seen on tire's towing a bogged truck was a forwarder (forestry machine) hydrostatic drive it just chained up and buggered off where as the big 4WD tractor just sat scrabbling both were towing on a hard forest track
Matt we had an old 135 fergie that quite often ran out of fuel , we used that start you bastard , from that first time on the old girl wouldn’t start without a whiff of that stuff , and people say that machines can’t get addicted to products 😂😂😂
Would it be worth looking at in the future, to borrow/ lease a medium weight step deck/ drop deck trailer for the Western Star to carry the Househam sprayer, Cat D4 etc between the blocks?
It would be handy but most things apart from the d4 would be quicker to just drive or often we have to move a few things at once like at harvest and a convoy makes the most sense👍😁
A good project for ya Dad . Build a rock crusher, gravel for ya roads. Do ya rock picking, sieve ya rocks, then feed the rock crusher then elevator into ya big tipper and cart straight to where it's needed and Matt your can learn more grading. 😮😮😂.
Matt If you Continually Drive down the Same Track Tramline as its Called Do you End up with a Furrow Or does the Ground Naturally come back up somewhat ?
Usually after harvest there is a few weeds that have been hiding under the crop, also once it rains after harvest you get a flush of weeds and any spilt or left behind grain comes up
Great content guys, love watching. The audio isn't really good sometimes, perhaps it's time for a personal microphone, especially with a group of people. Matt, in this video, when you turn your head, the volume isn't very loud. :))
Yep it’s definitely a problem, I have been trying different ways but it hard to get the right balance, the camera needs to be compact, quick to use and robust. I will be going back to my old microphone soon👍
That ac dont looks healthy but it was Matt says never know how its works A company had a loader whit ac problems only cost a lot of money, never works sold that loader and get a new one 😢 have changed almost all parts tvice but no cold air
MATT if you can access the top of the fuel tank I have a new VDO fuel sender unit I can post you , its left over from when I had a radiator and fuel tank repair and build business. I won’t need it, you just need to buy the VDO Fuel tank gauge. Ive got your address.

Great job spraying JD
Nice looking semi and trailers Matt
Great video Matt Brad Peter Phil and JD
Cotton is looking healthy 👌 except for a couple of flat ones.
That's a nice rig :) funny how a prime mover with triples has a smaller turning radius than a Prado at school drop off/pick up :D
I see a Geraldton plumbing company seed grader in your dome shed. Originally built in our home town, has had a long trip to your side of the country.
I've never worked on AC systems so even the little bit you talked about was super interesting.
JD what are you doing 😂 New fuel gauge I would suggest !! great video Matt.

Great video! I think you’re in trouble for squashing Phil’s cotton.
What were you thinking lol😮

That would be right, I washed the truck this morning.

@@williamburns9731 you have no idea how much we have had to hold back Brad from getting a rock crusher😂
JD! 🤦♂️ That’s a carton!
Is there not a filter drier in the system. If not install one.
This system uses an accumulator but if I change to a tx valve I’ll need a receiver drier👍😁
Matt
If you Continually Drive down the Same Track
Tramline as its Called
Do you End up with a Furrow
Or does the Ground Naturally come back up somewhat ?
Yes you do end up with wheel tracks, every few years we use what’s called a renovator to fill in the wheel tracks😁
Excuse my ignorance, but what are you spraying for just after harvest?
Usually after harvest there is a few weeds that have been hiding under the crop, also once it rains after harvest you get a flush of weeds and any spilt or left behind grain comes up
HiChill voids the compressor warranty to. 🙂
Yes it does haha I try not use it with a new compressor, just doesn’t feel right
@@thejacksonbrothers I had to sign a declaration that I had no HiChill on board or in my utes A/C before I could go into a minesite

5/1/2025 viewing this video. Your cotton looks a lot better this year than last year, question why the variable sowing width. Thaanks
That is how dryland cotton is planted to give more moisture for the plants.

It would be tricky to fit so we would probably never get around to it but thanks for the offer! Appreciate it
Do you do any rabbit ripping on your tree lines?
What for
@tallboy49 less moisture taken by trees
We ripped about 1.2m down around a few boundaries with the d11 a few years ago, probably due again👍
