I adore your personality, you remind me of my late great grandfather before he passed. A bit of a smart-ass but the nicest man you'd ever meet. Everyone knew him, he worked on the Virginian railway. I know your a truckee but yall both hauled heavy loads across the country. God bless you and thank you for the memories ❤
thanks for the colab guys. I'll check paul's channel out. it's nice to see youtubers and truckies working together, some do nothing but put down others.
Nice one Johnno, very interesting and different. Mate , to you and your family a very merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous new year. Thank you so much for your entertainment in 2024 and looking forward to 2025. Stay safe mate and keep on trucking. Do you have something like Kenny’s buy me a coffee?
Hey Johnno...another great content good to see another RUclipsr & the ride along i will check out his channel ... hope all is well Johnno keep safe mate 👍
Cheers Johnno, i just watched some of his content brings me back memories when i used to operate agricultural farming machinery long before i got into trucking
Shows there is more than one way to skin a cat when changing gear. Personally, I'm in the sometimes clutch/sometimes not, camp; whichever is needed at the time. 🙂
@@RoadTrainAdventures Wait until you get to deal with "new recruit" DAFF Officers. They'll be stripping the wiring back 2 feet and hitting the fuse box with a power washer. Does wonders for a Million dollar machine.
I miss float work, I should go back to it. Man Komatsu are making cheap looking diggers now. And boy have you got a storm of comments coming about chaining a machine down by the steps, I think the wrong interpretation of those tie down point stickers has happened.
Great clip mate! Paul has a great attitude for truckin too! Good stuff all round! 👏
Thanks heaps. Yes he's very down to earth.

We good team. Ha ha
Hang on!!!
Tying to the steps!!
No no no!!!!!!!
That wouldn't get out the gate at Hastings.
If you have a look at all the diggers on a float, this is how it's done.
I was told that same thing about the brake when I started driving HR’s, 3 times in quick succession and my supervisor will be having words.
Oh
Good one
Thanks Jonathan
Subscribed to teuckin about when he said his RUclips channel name
Very nice. You should like his channel.
my first boss said if it has a clutch, you "will" use the clutch. which is fair enough.
This sends to be a matter of opinion because some bosses do not want you to use it.
Hey mate did you come through Mundaring WA at around 12:00 today I could have sworn it was a lumbars 9oh
No. I'm in Melbourne today. Keep looking.

Yes it's best that we all drive the way we can smoothly.
6:43 - hard to believe a rated tie-down point is designed with an unsupported span like that?
It is though.
That's great
Awesome. Thanks Jessica
Paul sounds like a Kiwi - perhaps from Southland ?
Yes he is from NZ.
That was my exact guess too. Drags his "R's" slightly like Sludge. He's from southland too.
@newzealandearthmover4008 We just ask the question.
That was my background, (well some of it), being a manager of a quarantine wash pad in Bibra Lake WA. It was different.
Oh very good. You'll know all about what happens here then.

No doubt
My name is Michael Lockhart I had just subscribed to your channel.
Awesome. Good stuff Michael. I'm sure you'll love what you see.
Good work mate
What camera and mic do you use jhonno?
I have 5 cameras but I'm using the GoPro the most with the Rode Go II mike.
Very interesting
Thanks Tony
i did not know that they had too be washed i never pulled the shipping containers the product was allways cross docked onto my trailer and on my way
It's really just machines
You never mentioned how they clean the digger .Do they jet wash it .hand wash it .disinfect it. Or some other method. Cheers
They would use a high pressure cleaner but Paul would know more about that. I'm sure he'll mention it here soon.
Hi John I am Jimmy I got HR unstructured and want get MC or HC which one do you reckon should I do Thanks
Go straight for MC. That way you'll have the option of driving both.
Thank you I will soon
Excellent
Hi Johnno, just wondering what sort of hourly rate yourself and Paul make?
Paul is an owner driver so he sets its own rate. I get paid per kilometre so it's hard to work out the exact rate I get.
Cowboys and Indians ha ha ha ha
You got it
🤣
👍

No that is exactly where all experienced float operators chain to. Anywhere else is just slow and pointless. I'm at KFC Truckerbox getting fat.
@ ha ha love the dirty chook. Want to try a bit kylie and I thought up, don’t know if I’ll get it done this year now.
We still have all the Christmas food to come too.
@ ha ha true. I hope you get some time off
@Brad_The_Truckie I'll be off for 4 weeks as of Friday. Big holidays planned.
