I found one of these beautiful machines at a thrift store for $15.00. I didn't even know where to begin and you DEFINITELY helped. Thank you so much! :)
I got one of these secondhand (with a Singer Fairhaven sewing desk!) selling for $15 on Facebook marketplace. This is my first machine I bought to start learning from home. This video is super helpful for me!
I picked one of these up yesterday for 20 bucks. It's not locked up. Looks fairly good. Still in the cabinet. The cabinet looks good. Still trying to figure out what I want to do with it. Right now the plan is go through it a little bit. Clean it up. Get it to where it'll so good and decide. I do have some slant shank feet already and I ordered a button holder cuz I found one really cheap. Regardless, what I do with it may end up putting it up on the shelf and using that occasionally
I found a Singer 603 E today at a thrift store. This video helped me inspect the handles and knobs, so thank you so much! I am taking note of what might need to be looked at to get this lovely machine up and running. I grew up helping my Nana sew (even have a battle scar on my forehead from walking into the table corner the machine was attached to!) and I am hoping to get my new baby working good as new after doing some research. I need to find a cord for it.
If your stitches are built into the machine you don't change the disks. The machine that take the interchangeable disks lift up on top to change one at a time.
Put a firm grip on the disk, and pull straight up. This machine doesnt have a built in zigzag mode, it is reliant on the plastic zigzag cam disk. I will never, (repeat) never know as much about the sewing art as Mrs. Martin, but I do own this machine.
I'm lookin at one of those singer 603E I think.. I'm a beginner, male, 55 yrs. Old . You're awesome. Thanks.
Thank you so much!! Wishing you luck searching and happy sewing!

Thanks for video. Just today I inherited a nice 603 with cabinet.I know nothing about this machine. Bobbin throws me. Any suggestions?
Bobbins on the touch and sews are confusing to me as well. I have a video on filling them. Please watch it.
Dónde consigo en México los carretes de la bobina
Bring the thread right behind which disc? Theres 3.
In between two. I don't think it matters otherwise.
Can you tell us how to do a bobbin
Yes I have a demo that shows you.
I believe it's linked at the end of this video.

I want this?
Sorry but I don't have this machine anymore. I will another one soon. A Pfaff
How do you switch the disks?
