I'm very particular in my like or dislike of these videos, this is one of the best with actual thunder and not just some weak rumbles that might be thunder far away.
Why is this audio one of the only ones that ACTUALLY sound like a real thunderstorm. Rather than those “soothing” constant rumbling audios. This is perfect, knocks me out every time
I think it's the natural irregularity of the thunder? I'll thunder is very erratic, and most of these sleepytime storm creations have it in a general pattern that our subconscious recognizes. That makes it less believable and soothing when we're trying to sleep. At least, that's what my restlessly annoying ADHD brain comes up with. 😅
